I'm retired. I decided to buy HW90 and put a scope on it. I asked Airguns of Arizona for a recommendation and they recommended Athlon talos 3-12 by 40 1 inch tube. That scope is not recommended for that rifle according to the manufacturer. The scope never worked...money down the drain and they didnt want anything to do with it after the sale. Very unhappy with them!!! And did not receive a response back!! I hope this goes to the owner!!! read more

I bought a scoped Weihrauch air rifle from them several years ago. I recently found that 2 screws for my scope mount when missing. I contacted them to try and find out the proper size/pitch for the screws. While they promptly answered my question, they also took it upon themselves to send me a new pair of mounts, unsolicited, and without cost. My pcp came securely wrapped in bubble wrap and dbl boxed. To there credit UPS didn't step on the box or mangle it, so all is good. AGA provided a test target and data sheet that was reassuring and I appreciated that. I've had follow up twice w/ AGA and Darren was particularly helpful to me. They don't make the guns, but they sell them and seem very knowledgeable. They quoted free shipping and the only knock I have is when I added a tin of pellets, the shipping went up to $46, so I cancelled the pellets. For that trick, I would give them 4.5 stars if I could. I purchased a Beeman pellet air rifle from Airguns of AZ and had it shipped to me. I received it on 9/20/22 and started checking it out. After an hour of sighting it in and shooting at a target, air leaked through the breach and the riffle would no longer hold air. I called Airguns and they told me to send it back to the manufacturer for warranty repair because they are just a small distributor. Huh? They didn't even provide the manufacture's warranty contact number. I would be careful of any purchase from this company because they don't seem to stand by the products they sell. On 12/11/2023 I ordered 1 box of NSA 350 count .217, 24.8gr slugs for $21.99 each. I received 1 box of 250 count so I am short 100 slugs. I called and spoke with Darren about the shortage and was told because of "Biden" the slugs have increased in price so there are less slugs in a box. I was also told they charge extra to cover the cost of free shipping. Airguns of Arizona's web page for these items clearly shows a 350count box for $21.99 with free shipping. Unfortunately the sales department chooses to give dishonest excuses and cheat customers. Received my order quickly. Everything was well packaged. I did ask the sales rep if the pump had the proper connection for my Marauder. He did state that the FX 4 stage had the proper connection. Nope, no connection just threaded fittings. Everyone in the family was looking to me to make the rifle shoot on Christmas day. I ended up with egg on my face. I bought a high end airgun from them last December ($1700). It had a bit of a problem with it drooping, so I sent it back to them to look at along with my scope and mounts to make sure it was perfect when it came back. Not only did they work with me and paid the shipping for return to me, they also threw in a set of sportsmatch mounts for my trouble. I worked with Darren there -- he's was very sympathetic and friendly. He made sure I was happy. I would definitely buy from them again if I could afford it. Speaking to other reviews, this is a small brick and mortar store that deals in the high end of the airgun world. From what I gather, like most small businesses, they have a limited staff and just don't have the capacity to handle a huge flow of business. It's unfair at best to compare them to pyramyd air or other big dealers -- it would be like comparing a local fine restaurant to a chain (or a small local store to a walmart). It's apples and oranges. Knowing they are a smaller shop, yes, getting "instant service" was more difficult and their web presence was lacking, but that's not how they run their business. Just call them up and ask -- I had a great experience dealing with them over the phone. No, I am not in any way affiliated with them or am being compensated by them.
