    I think therefore I A&M
    Fox E.

I A&M sure that if I'd grown up in Texas, there is a great chance I'd have gone here, like my sexy goddess did. She actually went to, let me count... 1, 2, 3, 4 amazing schools, come to think of it. This wasn't her favourite, but was definitely the biggest "party school" and she takes me back here regularly to experience that electric college life in a town which has little else other than a huge, enormous, did I mention huge, sports-minded Uni. So basically this is an absolutely wonderful University located in College Station. We know this college well because we come and visit our friends here often, and because Barbie went to the law school that now belongs to Texas A&M as well. They changed over mid-degree and she started off with a provincial school and ended up with a shiny A&M degree. She's an Aggie! She's happy about it. They have campuses in other cities (Fort Worth yay) but the main one basically takes up the vast majority of the City of College Station in Texas. They're a legendary school in in many ways, and in others it's like one big high school. It's a little expensive but somewhat affordable for Texas residents and a great many of them come here. They have a huge enormous football stadium, in fact one of the biggest in the world, and they're very obsessed with their football team who are pretty good. Although not as successful or famous as Texas at Austin down the road of course. Now that College Station has a lot of great stuff and some good food and even some good Boba, I think it's an even better place to go to school. It can be a little ethnically homogeneous but that's changing thankfully. There are 2 amazing Persian restaurants, and several Boba shops including a good indie one and a couple of great chains, Sharetea and Kung Fu Tea. They should lose a star for overcharging massively and spending it all on sports (or pocketing it, let's be honest), but Barbie insists on the 5 stars because as an alum, she hearts it. But then she remembered that she had a huge battle with them to get her diploma, despite the fact that she was one of their best ever students, and told me to lower it back to a 4.

Came to visit the Bush library and took time after to drive through the campus. The grounds were very clean and nice. Lots of areas to park as well.

Iconic Aggie Ring in DINOSAUR PROPORTIONS! This is a must-see, highly-sought, photo-friendly dedication to a long history of Aggie Ring bearing and the meaning behind it! A perfect spot to visit for photos and a picnic (during COVID day's) for my partner's 10 year anniversary of admission to TX A&M!

It's a pretty big, nice university. It's style is a little industrial minimalist, but there plenty of nice lawns and things to even that out. They have expensive parking for guests compared to other unis.

The school mascot is handled by one of the core sophomores. She is the highest ranking Officer.

Several…read morefolks working there were more than happy to point out various unique aspects of this building. Built in 1932 and named in 1998 after TAMU's 17th president, the Jack K. Williams Administration Building makes an impressive entrance to campus. A five-pointed bronze star at the base of the flag pole on the front lawn bears the names of some of the university's first presidents. Designed in a classic Beaux Arts style, the building is made of light grey stone rather than brick. Its long front portico contains a tiled floor, ornate ceiling and huge urns set between 14 enormous ionic columns. Each column features the face of a warrior and a woman on opposing sides. 128 ram heads line the building's perimeter, while 124 lion heads line the copper roof's edge. The massive bronze doors at the building's east entrance show figures representing agriculture and engineering, along with stylized "A" and "M" letters superimposed over a background of antique Belgian glass. Inside, the A&M theme expands to include iconography of Texas and the Southwest expressed in ornamental metals, stained glass, plaster, decorative paintings and a large terrazzo Texas map on the foyer floor. Colors of the map portray Texas geography, while brass markings represent Spanish missions, rivers and cattle trails. The sites of major battles of the Texas Revolution are indicated by crossed sabers. Also marked are the locations of Washington-on-the-Brazos (where the Texas Declaration of Independence was signed), the capital of Texas and Texas A&M.

Other Presidential libraries are Truman and GEORGE Bush, JR but I didn't care about them too much. I was impressed with his background as WWII pilot ‍, had a daughter that died at age 3, and felt he had a destiny to be something greater. After graduating from Yale, he worked as an oil field equipment salesman for Dresser Industries, CIA director and then got into politics to be the 41st President of United States and was ambassador to China for a few years. Impressive resume I do admit. I actually enjoyed reading and exploring his well laid out artifacts and stuff in chronological order. I normally find these historical things boring. If you like collecting stamps from each Presidential library, don't forget to stamp at the gift store your brochure. Always asked for brochure from the security guard. The greeter at the door didn't inform us about getting a floor plan layout brochure, so we just went to where we bought tickets and that guy told us to catch the video first and then head in inside to library to explore and pass by the Presidential car to start your self tour. The docent inside was nice enough to take our photos for us so no more bad selfies. lol He also had a wealth or information to explain things to us at the recreation of Oval Office where you can pose and take more photos! This is a far drive which is why there are not many reviews for this good library. There are two big slabs of the Berlin Wall, one inside Musuem and one outside with the horses statues which is well done. I grew up where the Berlin Wall came crashing down. That was important point of history! There was a small section for Forst lady, Barbara Bush related to books and reading. Outdoors was a lake, her garden and cemetery where The President, First Lady and their daughter, Robin was diagnosed with advanced leukemia are buried surrounded by a gate to protect them.

These are additional photos from my visit to the library. It's an expansive museum collection that…read moreis sure to be an enjoyable trip.
