Everyone in my crew had an amazing time the hour went by super quick, so if you are in adventure, lover, I would suggest that you do the two hour tour. Things to know before you go number one bring cash. There is a $30 interest fee that you do not get back. There is also a $100 deposit required when you do the rental the hour tour cost $100 and the two hour tour cost $250 if you don't feel comfortable bringing that amount of cash with you I suggest that you purchase your tickets online and that way you have a guaranteed spot and you only need the money for the entrance fee, and the deductible that you receive back as long as you don't Break their ATVs we had an amazing time. Make sure you bring your goggles and a face mask because there is a lot of dirt and mud and at certain points it is very difficult to see.

I received a mini walkthrough on how to guide the horse to go forward, stop, and turn. My guide was Matt who made my first visit (but not last!) great - told great stories, and shared about various animal/plant activity along the trail. We did and were directed straight to the location. There are two ATV rental places that operate at this location. When you walk up, there are two windows. Pay attention. Bring cash because they DO NOT TAKE CARDS! We paid for the remainder of our balance, got on our rides and we were off. Don't pass your guide and please flip the ATV. They take your license at the beginning and won't give it back until you come back from your ride without damage. The lady said you have to pay before they return your license so there is no telling what that would be. You go through water, sand, mud, ramps, and a lot of other obstacles. You will love it! One boat seats up to 4 people; two peddlers in the front and two riders in the back. The boats are equipped with a sun shade (thank goodness - it can get hot out there on the open water!) and a simple steering stick in the middle. The boat isn't hard to operate; just pedal forwards or backwards and use the stick to direct the boat. A word of caution: wear waterproof shoes! The space for the pedals can fill with water, and our feet definitely got wet. Our pedals were also a little on the rusty side, and mine squeaked angrily the whole ride. The views are fun from the center of the lake. You can see all around the park, including the central fountain and the iconic Pioneer Memorial Obelisk. Lots of geese, ducks, and turtles in the water. The geese like to come up to the boats, and there was even one or two that wanted to greet us on the way in.

I regret not going sooner. The weather was great, a little cooler. Ok no it was still hot but felt ok. There were many vendors and for a free concert and dancing outside, discovery green crosses off a lot of boxes. Check them out if you have never been. There was plenty of seating whether you want to be near the stage or at the tables, they have benches and plenty of green space. Great for kids and ok to bring pets. I parked on the street for no charge since I waited until after 6pm. Check out their schedule of events. Can't go wrong.
