It doesn't cost you any more than calling the 800 number, but even if it did, it would be worth it. two- Call Scott Durkin for your insurance needs. He is among the smartest, most knowledgeable insurance agent in the business. He certainly helped me out on many occasions. His understanding has saved me money and given me better coverage. Instead of just raising the limits on my auto policy, he added an inexpensive umbrella policy. When I had an odd claim filing problem, he worked on it, all the way to the regional manager so as to resolve it. When I needed a rider for my firearms, he suggested that the NRA insurance was cheaper. Scott Durkin always has my best interest in mind. In fact, he checks my policies on a regular basis so as to make sure my coverage is appropriate. Unbeknownst to me, the seller had claimed multiple homestead exemptions for multiple years. When I contacted Heritage Title about this issue, they were unsympathetic, defensive, and offered no help other than to suggest I file an insurance claim. Title companies supposedly exist for this very reason (to catch this kind of fraud). This is the kind of very predictable issue that Heritage Title could have uncovered with a minimal amount of effort, using publicly available information on the county assessor's database.... but apparently, Heritage Title doesn't do even this basic amount of due diligence. There are many other title companies in Austin - do yourself a favor and choose another one.

It's definitely one of the nicer small banks I have been in. They did it up with a really nice modern feel with wood floors and granite countertops. It's pretty nice. Customer service is great - the tellers seem to know everyone who uses the bank. I've overheard multiple conversations about family, cars, etc between the tellers and the folks visiting the bank. Gives it a real small-town feel. ATM fees are not outrageous ($2.00) if you don't have a Frost account.
