The market feel and overall experience felt genuine, but it was far too small and it could have used some fake snow or something to make it feel more wintery. Disappointed, they need to step up their game.

Outside booth of Christmas decor, this lady also ran the hot chocolate shop. She was super sweet!

Went here today & spent maybe 30-45 minutes there? It was a cute place but I was hyped up by pictures I saw online. I knew it was limited when I looked at the vendor list but didn't expect it to be that small. They have "snow" (bubbles) that falls every so often so that was pretty neat. It's outside so wear appropriate clothes, the snow isn't messy though, so don't worry about that. I will say, support these small shops that are there... all of them were so incredibly nice! We got some ornaments from The Santa Clause Workshop that they put our names on, some for to gift for my brother's dog as well. :) The main vendor seemed to be Käthe Wohlfahrt, with their handmade ornaments. Also got some hot cocoa, we were surprised & happy at how hot it was! Looks like they also have a marionette show, arts & crafts, & there's also a Santa. We came in Sunday, it actually wasn't that busy but that was fine with us. Ample parking! I hope there are more opportunities, cute concept... maybe it's an off year but there is potential. I'd say stop by if you're in the area, it's free to go in, but don't plan on making a day out of it.

I have come in years past they USUALLY have lots of vendors, Santa, German beer, crêpes, etc. We went this year and they had none of that!!! We spent like 5 min here. They had a handful of vendors and limited food options. Very disappointed! Thank goodness we didn't have to pay to park!!

Difficult to find. Directly in front of main entrance to Texas live. 7 booths. 2 Kathe Wohlfart Christmas decorations. 1 bread pudding. 3 jewelry/artsy stuff. 1 bakery with pretzels & strudel. 15 minutes and you're done. Not worth it unless you have to have some expensive German knickknack. You'll enjoy Aldi's Christmas selections more.

    6 booths total

I was so excited from past pictures prior to joining Enchant, but was so let down when I arrived. They might as well not have it outside in the " free area ". It's almost offensive how greedy it shows the event organizers are. I've captured the entire market in my picture of 6 booths. It's free as advertised! But deceiving since the vast majority are inside Enchant. I just don't understand how money hungry the organizers are to ruin German Christmas market spirit. I want to enjoy German culture and Christmas but not at $30 a person just to walk through the door. I am actually really curious and hope the organizers and the vendors can respond with how much money they are making now with Enchant than on their own in 2016. I cannot imagine how many angry people are willing to spend money on those poor 6 booths in front of Texas Live venue. I've been to German Christmas markets and this truly brings shame and spoils the spirit.

So disappointed in this event and, to top it off you would have to pay $15 to get access to a toilet! Really?!

I attended the event in Lexington KY at the Kentucky Horse Park. The event was around $30 per ticket and they advertised live music, vendors, and food trucks or you were also welcome to bring your own food and drinks. Parking at this event was also $10 bringing the total minimum cost to $40 for one person or $70 for two people. The pond being used had a divider to keep the lanterns in a specific area - this was very disappointing because it took away from the random pattern of the lanterns floating freely. All the lanterns just ended up in a single line next to the divider. The event itself was very unorganized. There was a tiny stage for live music - which I never saw anyone performing and the speaker situation was set up so you could only hear if you were right next to it. No one around the pond could hear music or announcements or anything. There were only 3-4 vendors set up and around 3 food trucks and 1 sweet truck. There was no place to sit and eat so you had to take your purchase back to your area or stand to eat. I would suggest - just buy a water lantern kit from Amazon and do this yourself. You can get like 20 lanterns for $30.

However, the bread was fairly large with lots a butter. Such a a interesting combination I've never heard of. You can bring your own food, drinks and pets. Just keep your dog on a leash and no glass containers. The sound is great! They have screens on the side of the stage for a better view. Also, the camera man zooms in on the stage. The stage is surrounded by beautiful Vitex Agnus trees. The landscaping is well taken care of. The lawn is large with freshly planted grass. There's plenty of space so, bring your blankets and lawn chairs. There's a large sidewalk for dancing. The event is secured too. Police officers are on patrol. Bathrooms are large and clean and the pathway to the restroom is lighted. They also have a hand sanitizing station before you get to the restroom. Balcony seating is also available. Please, see information booth regarding that. If your looking for some free entertainment, I would definitely come here.

They do have police directing traffic and blocking the other streets so only residents can enter through those. I went around 8pm on a weekday and there were about 30 cars waiting to go in. I was surprise it only took me about 5-9 minutes to get into the neighborhood. Once inside you just follow the crow and enjoy, a lot of the streets have a could de sac and you can just follow along. The neighborhood is a big circle so when you are done you will exit where you first came out of. It took me about another 10 minutes to get through the first set of house because there were a group of little kids at the end of the first street passing out candy canes. They were the reason why it was taking a while to get into the place but after that I was constantly moving along looking at house. The whole thing did not take me more than 30 minutes and after that I was on my way back home. Its free and the house that are decorated are nice but a lot of them are also dark and don't participate (which is fine). Most ppl here had lights and music and even inflatables in their cars. That part was a little entertaining to see the passing cars how they go all out, I mean all out!! Okay now to what this is. This is basically a campsite park. And the people that are staying there decorate their sites. But this isn't just some twinkly lights and spider web, nooooooo. These people are creative. Some even come up to scare the people in the cars oh it is so fun. I love to see their individual styles come together in such a fun way. The drive through the displays doesn't take very long. Actually it's pretty quick. The majority of your time there will be in line waiting to get to the campsite areas. So gas up, take plenty of things to entertain your kids in the car.. take snacks maybe a meal. I'd take wipes bc there's mostly port- a potties . Once you get in, there is a restroom but I heard that's way more scary than the Halloween stuff.. yikes!
