I enjoy this theater very much. It's my go-to theater for solo dates during their discounted Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Staff are always friendly, drinks and concessions are often stocked whenever I'm there, and the theater is overall clean. There were a few times where the seat I had were malfunctioning though, and if it's a full theater, I wasn't be able to move to a different spot. Once, I purchased a ticket to a movie and got my confirmation email saying it was in Auditorium 3. Come to my surprise when I got there Auditorium 3's lights were off and the Michael movie was playing. Thankfully, staff got it resolved and informed me of the correct auditorium. Not the biggest inconvenience when it's a slow day, but if this was on a crowded night, it would be irritating to deal with. Regardless, I'll always come back to this theater for the overall more good than bad experiences I've had, and in hindsight, it's better than the AMC in Arlington Parks Mall. read more

From the outside you can tell it's an older building but they have done well remodeling it. Offering a bar on the inside and a simple way to get your tickets if not purchased earlier. They have additional menu options outside of the normal popcorn. A theater I'll definitely check out again read more

So, my movie hasn't started yet but I wanted to go ahead and give this location some love before it starts. I will admit I'm a fan of a different theater chain because of how close it is to home, and the rewards program works a little better for my families needs. AMC is to far to warrant a 3 movies a week plan. I will also admit to having been burned to many times by the Grapevine location. I got to the point I only went to AMC if I got to go to a free early screening or when I got my free large popcorn birthday reward ... and I landed at grapevine cause that mall has a lot of the stores I also have birthday rewards at! This year I decided to give another location a shot. Eastchase while 10 miles from me is the closest amc to me. It's a bit smaller than the theaters I'm used to going to at this point, this is a 9 room theater. Reminds me of the size of the dollar movie theater that had 8 near me ages ago. Staff was outstanding, from service coming in the door to the consesion stand. The theater itself clean. In the consesions the only "bad" spot I could say is the drink area but I give a bit of grace in that area due to number of people people dealing with stuff like soda and letting kids fill their own cups. There is some small wear and tear in places that I expect, it like cup holders, that see a lot of use. Though they have nice reclining seats. Take note Grapevine AMC, upgrade those seats. If there is anything to report on after my movie I'll do so. Though if this location was as close or a little closer to home I'd consider switching rewards programs to here! read more

Since My original review, it seems they've improved on the cons I listed: They now had a station with employees who will scan your ticket. This could've been due to being Zootopia 2's opening weekend, so it could change, but was nice to see. They now set concessions out in the pickup area. So now you don't have to wait in line to pick it up. The seats the past few times I've visited have worked, which I think is good. I can't speak on whether or not the flavoring in the sodas has improved, as I normally get an icee. The staff is still friendly, and work through the line of people quickly. read more

My cuz and I decided we needed to get together. We mutually agreed to the Barbie movie! I live on the West side of Fort Worth and my cuz lives in North Arlington. We decided this would be a good place to meet. It's a really humble theater. There was a friendly associate that worked the box office. There's a mini bar and self serve drinks and butter. Tickets are less expensive on Tuesdays. They are $6.00 a ticket for a 7:30 showing. There's a $4.38 fee for purchasing your ticket online. Barbie was funny, interesting and took an unexpected twist. The movie kept me captivated til the end. Ryan Gosling makes the perfect Ken. I would definitely recommend this Theater and movie. My wife and I love our neighborhood AMC. It's a quick 5-minute drive from our home to arrive at the theater. It's so convenient for us to be able to attend a last-minute movie. I haven't been to the movie theater since early 2020. Everything was similar, but I did notice two lines for concessions. I don't usually get food or beverages unless I'm getting free items so the premiere line could be something I just never noticed. I know premiere members get additional perks compared to insider members. It looked like they may get to go to a particular concession lane or go before people who aren't premiere members. Honestly, I really didn't look into it because I barely go to the movie theater. It maybe something people want to look into so they can get to concessions early. This place has gone completely downhill. I've put an email with videos to corporate and never got a response. I've given this place chance after chance. Seats are torn up in the arms,not comfy to have. I've gotten a recliner that does not work. Floors at drinks are insanely filthy and sticky,none of the drinks have syrup it's all carbonation,mind you this was all 3 visits in a row.second movie with bad experience there was HORRIBLE noises coming from the roof/ceiling. I mean BAD through out the entire movie and I have sound/video to prove it. My kids were scared,it was unbelievable. Movies are not cheap especially when you take a family plus concessions. So I thought this was a newer-ish theater...or maybe they had a remodel a few years back? Not sure, but it was looking a little run down/raggedy on the inside or at least in the theater we were in! We went to a matinee, so our tickets were only $5 and change! That was exciting. Inside the theater, the "leather" seats had several areas where they were torn up, peeling, and in one spot duck taped! The whole row we sat in didn't have operating recliners (at least the 4-5 chairs we tried!). So we simply moved back a row. The theater was also pretty warm inside. We had to ask them to turn on/lower the AC (August obviously gets pretty hot in Texas!!). While the experience was not horrible, this would definitely not be my first pick for a movie theater. Especially, when there are so many other nicer ones to choose from. read more

I enjoyed this theater. They have great seats, very cozy. Much nicer than the AMC in the Arlington Mall. It would be cool if they brought your snacks to you like studio movie grille, but this is fine. The restrooms here are kind of creepy and some stuff in the lobby looks a bit run down. This is honestly my favorite movie theater to go to in the area. It's an older theater but that does not take away from its charm. The staff is always nice, the bathrooms and theaters are clean, and the seats comfortable. They offer affordable matinee prices and I believe there are certain days during the week that offer additional discounts as well. This is one of the two theaters my dad will only go to. Not bad, not bad.. but not the best -- it's a little run down overall. Not super clean, a bit sticky everywhere, and leather seats that are visibly worn and torn. Last time we saw a movie here it was so so warm (this was in July). Of course it's super hot outside in July so the air conditioner really should have been on full blast.. I always take a sweater to any movie theater, I expect it to be chilly inside. You're supposed to get all cozy! Besides that, I appreciate the reclining leather seats, the reserved seating, the matinee prices, the little bar in the main lobby where we buy over priced wine and cocktails, the convenient location, the friendly staff, the fact that it usually isn't super crowded, and the delicious salty popcorn! read more

We have been checking out this movie theatre lately rather than our AMC closest to home, mainly because of the reclining chairs. We have been here a handful of times now and I'm not sure if all the screens have the chairs - I swear the first time we came it was regular seating but i think all of them do. This does seem like a busier location though and prime seating gets taken early. We have yet to use the concession stand, only for soda which is coke freestyle - which I love. A lot of the reviews comment of the cleanliness of the restrooms - I don't agree with this. I haven't used the ones by the concession stand which I assume are the larger ones. I've only used the small ladies by screen 5 which have about 4-5 stalls and can sometimes be clean, others rather dirty. Also in regards to AC, some screens seem to be cooler than others, screen 1 good, screen 5 warm from what I have noticed. read more

Total Rip-off! Went to watch Avatar in RealD3D. 3:15 showing at AMC Eastchase, 23 September 2022. The 3D projection did not work. The projector showed hundreds of duplicate images. There was no 3D effect and watching it gave us all headaches. many of us came out and complained but the people working there acted as if they didn't care or it wasn't their responsibility. The manager acted upset that I interrupted her eating some cake behind the ticket counter. But she didn't call for any help. Again I got a "so what" impression and a point to the No Refunds sign. We left. Id advise against using this theater. actually ANY AMC theater. Never had a problem like this with CINEMARK. read more

Comfy reclining seats - just be careful not too get too comfy and snooze =) McGuffins - fun little 6 seat bar in the lobby. One of the managers was doubling as the bartender last time we were there and she was awesome and friendly Staff - Great & friendly staff. We never wonder what our experience will be at this theater. This used to be our go to spot, but the theater needs some serious attention from management. We will not be returning any time soon. The bad: Most employees were massless , and the ones that were wearing them were not wearing them correctly. The drink station was very sticky with soda and there were black house flies hovering around and landing on the counter. The popcorn butter station was very dirty and the counter was sticky with butter. Several of the seats in the theater were ripped and in need of repair. There was popcorn in one of the drink holders for our seats, and the seat next to us appeared to be greasy. The good: We we're greeted as soon as we entered and the employees were friendly. I know I've already given this theater a 5-star rating, however; it has managed to get even better. Since AMC released their movie pass for $20 a month to see up to 3 movies a WEEK (including 3D & IMAX), I go here probably 8 times a month now. Amazing deal! Love that I can reserve a seat online so I don't have to worry about arriving early. Will continue to go to this theater all the time. read more

This used to be a nice place to watch movies. It was actually our preferred location in Arlington. The place needs more attention. The main issue was the women's restroom. The trash bin inside the restrooom was overflown, paper towels al around the bin. The sinks were all wet, the stalls were filthy with pieces of toilet paper on the ground. Two out of the 6 stalls had no toilet paper, one of the stalls had a broken toilet that didn't flush the menstrual tissue in it. Toilet paper on the ground as ground as you left the restroom, And to top it off, there was no door to the actual restroom. This was the condition before my movie started and also after. I did not see an effort to correct the problem before the flow of people increased after the movie. I don't recommend the place, look somewhere else. This place is suffering. I don't know if it's AMC's general management, or just this location's, but this place is on the decline. From the time you walk up to the now defunct ticket counter to the point where you sit in broken seats and overly dirty floors, you realize the staff isn't keeping up with the clientele. Teenagers on summer break are who often help you and they are clearly overwhelmed. The managers on-duty are professional enough, but that's one actual adult working in a facility with 8 teens talking and not really working. They routinely burn popcorn because they're distracted making the lobby smell. Firstly interior. Came in last month and there was a palette being broken down in the lobby for new poster displays and nobody working on it: trip hazard. The screens that display what movie is playing in what theatre have not been working all year, so you'll need to listen to the cashier or check your ticket. This is not a big deal except for the cashiers do not always tell you (remember, teenagers), and it's dark past the lobby making the ticket reading harder. They just need to fix the circuit that turns on the individual scrolling marquess. When you get to your theatre often times the picture has not been focused and the audio is too loud or too quiet. Often times several speakers aren't working right. The floors are beyond filthy. This is any theatre, but it's most prevalent in theaters who don't clean adequately. Under the seats is a second carpet of old popcorn which you'll find when the chairs have to be put back in place. Needs better housekeeping. Watched Across the Spider-Verse last month here and the bulb burned out in the projector halfway through. First showing. We were down about 20 minutes turning a two and a half hour movie into an over three hour movie with previews. Add that on top of the other issues and you can see what I mean about mismanagement. Finally, the chairs. This is the only theatre I know of that has fully reclining chairs and that's why I gave it two stars. I wish more theaters bought these seats. Double-edge though; most of the chairs are needing replacing. Broken motors, broken armrests, rips/holes, missing cup holders and numbers, anything's possible with the theatre seats. But if you find a good one then it's a comfy experience for at least the seating. I asked a manager why one of my showings was $14, and he told be because it's big budget. Untrue. Tickets are about $9 for new releases before a certain time (before 2pm I believe), then they go up. Recent releases before 2pm are lower. It doesn't matter about the studio or budget. However, studios mandate WHEN the movie can first release at a given time to get those boosted sales. This is the truth. As a rule of thumb, I try to stick to screenings before noon so the ticket price doesn't go double digits. I'd recommend another theatre before these guys. Unless you really want to recline all the way back, there's typically better experiences at the other theaters around town. Shame, because this was my de facto theatre six years ago. read more

I purchased tickets to see Star Wars around 9pm. Online it stated 11:15pm I show up at 11:15 and a lady is coming from the movie theatre and asked me if I was watching a movie here. I said yes. She said good luck they're closed. I go and the doors are locked. My girlfriend knocks on the door, an employee comes to the door suggested I got the wrong theatre, I showed him my online tickets and I asked him am I at the right theatre, he stated yes. I feel that was a bit rude. He said he couldn't let us in cuz the showing was at 11 and he'd get fired if he let us in. I spent 73 dollars brought my friends from out of town, to be shut out of my local movie theatre. This is some BS never in my life have I been reprimanded by missing my movie time. read more

I absolutely adore this theatre. I recently wrote a review about a comparably sized theatre in Grand Prairie (where I saw that hit and run) and the whole time I was wishing I was at Eastchase. Walking in, there is ample standing room. Ample waiting areas for concessions. Not really a line usually, either. This location is kind of tucked back, so I imagine that plays a big part in it's lack of being crowded. It's the comfy seats. Thank goodness. It's also always clean. This one is on my way home from the office, and on the tough days I can stop in for a movie. It's also conveniently located next to Specs (though they do have a bar too). Sidenote: the guy in front of me in Glass had a full blown six pack of beers with him from outside and he was my hero. I do suggest buying your tickets online ahead of time, ans it's win win because you can scan in with your phone and can pick your seat online. I saw Glass on Saturday and the seats were almost all taken 3 hours before the movie, but I found just the right spot. Never a miss on Eastchase! read more

One Friday morning, I took my mom to go see an 11:40 showing of the movie Ma. Overall an awful experience. Lobby Area: Lack of staff, attitude from the black guy who seemed to be running around everywhere and doing everything, Blonde, white girl, ignored us while we were in the A-List line, no salt for popcorn was out, popcorn & soda part & floor were very messy. Theater Area: Lady next to me nearly choked to death 3x, loudly, during the movie, took off her shoes, her phone with off 2x with the back light nearly blinding me as it flashed repeatedly and her dude, next to her, took a phone call during the movie. Lady in the row in front of us was recording on her phone from time to time. This made us move seats to actually enjoy the rest of the movie. read more

First time here. Came with friends to see Joker on opening weekend. I will say I like how the rows are set up inside of the theatre and the chairs are awfully comfy. But I'm giving this place 3-stars because the seats are a bit worn and torn. I did eat here and got the Mac and cheese bites. They were pretty good. It took a bit of time to order and then get served. (Maybe I'll order ahead through the app next time.) but yeah overall experience was mediocre. read more

Very nice.... This AMC Theater has been recently bought by AMC and was remodeled on the inside. We went to see a movie last week not knowing that the inside was remodeled.. We were very surprised. We walked into the theater and saw the very cozy red leather love seats or small sofas that have an arm that comes down in the middle if you want. And they recline with a leg rest. You have plenty of room to stretch out. No tight roles of chairs like the old days. This place is very nice. It is like your personal theater room at your house. The place was not very busy so we had a good time. Not full of kids like sometimes. The food and drinks out front is help yourself to your own coke and butter. Soon it will be swipe your card and pay for your self. No need for people. Which is bad we are losing to many jobs to self serve. Back to the review the movie cost 8.50 same as everywhere. Drinks and popcorn cost to much 5 or 6 dollars each. But that is they same also. Go check this place out you will not be disappointed. read more

If you find a better theater, let me know. Because as of right now, this one tops the charts. The seats recline mechanically, so you can go as far back as almost laying flat, or you can barely put your feet up, or anything in between. The soda machine is one of those cool ones with 50,000 choices. And the prices of the tickets are not as high as other theaters - I think it was $10 for a Friday night. This is my new go-to theater.
