    Turbines and ridge vents replaced.
    Greg O.

Review of TXDirect Roofing: With the past few storms we had on consecutive Sundays this past June 2019, we experienced some leakage from our roof into our bedroom ceiling when some shingles had been blown off our home. Having resorted to needing an immediate request for help, I searched the BBB website for local roofing contractors with a good history of customer service being among the various criteria for contact. This would prove to be the best thing I did for our home. Among others displayed was TX Direct Roofing. I used the BBB online tool to contact all the selected contractors and the last one I contacted was TX Direct. Two others replied and could not get to me until later in the week and the first to contact me by phone was TX Direct. As luck would have it, I was talking to the office when the Project manager, Aaron Woodhouse walked in and said he could be here in 15 minutes. Upon his arrival in a marked pickup truck, Aaron went to work immediately to secure the sections of roof exposed, estimate the amount of repair to be done (in this case replaced) and proceeded to help me contact my insurance company to file a claim and get the process to fix the roof started. This is where it took the longest to get accomplished along with an estimator on site later that week to give the insurance company his best estimate of damage. After all said and done and the length of time it took just to get approval, I decided we waited too long and were at risk for further damage so we decided to replace the roof since it was not done well, was 10 years old and we probably wouldn't meet the 2% deductible. Again, TX Direct stepped in and the next week we got a new roof, 30 year quality shingles and a good warranty from Certain-teed and TX Direct in repair labor. The project went well with Hector from M&G Construction doing the hard part of the roofing install and especially in 90+ degree heat. We had little damage from falling tiles and nails and cleanup was as described in the estimate contract as well as covering our AC units we recently installed in 2017 at great cost, so our investment was protected. The materials installed were of better quality than the previous roofers 10 years ago and the shingles heavy and solid. The replacement roof was finished within the time frame specified and now looks great on the home. The vents pipes were painted to match the roof, the turbines work effortlessly and silently as opposed to a neighbors that doesn't move at all and when they do they screech! We couldn't have been happier with the outcome. TX Direct's project manager Aaron Woodhouse was all that the BBB review report said and more. He really cared about our satisfaction and putting any fears about the install to rest. I must say that Hectors' installers were always gracious and in this heat, doing a good job can really be a chore and my wife and I want them to know we will be using them in fall projects I have in line for TX Direct to manage. I have dealt with a ton of contractors over the last several years of being a homeowner, and Texas Direct has been the easiest to deal with by a long shot. They made the whole process, from start to finish, so easy and painless for us. Insurance tried to make it difficult, and Texas Direct took over and made it a breeze. Nathan is a fantastic rep and I built a lot of trust in him because he has been to my house over the last 3 years saying he could get my roof replaced, but it wasn't necessary and for me to save the money and get more time out of my roof. That says a lot about someone when they could fill their pocket from another job, but have the respect and ethics to be honest and make the homeowner's best interest a priority. My new roof looks amazing and they knocked it out in less than a day. Workers were very respectful and attentive to my property and belongings as well. I couldn't recommend them more, and will gladly refer them to anyone looking for a roofer or contractor as I also found out they do upgrades around the house as well. Feels great to have a contact I can trust, they are hard to find these days!

Excellent service and a more than reasonable pricing for the work we needed done!!…read more Recently had an issue with clogged down spouts and water flowing on the property. We reached out to Grizzly Brother Gutters for an estimate on a cleanout with gutter covers install. We were contacted by Nicholas who was extremely understanding of the situation. He quickly got us an appointment for an inspection and estimation. During the inspection, we found that the existing gutters were installed incorrectly and we had water pooling in some gutters. He was able to get the initial estimate on the stainless steel mesh covers we wanted. But after finding the other issues, he wanted to get us set up with a reliable setup without incurring too much expense. We advised that we were okay with a full replacement and continued with the process. We agreed that upgrading to 6" gutters and 3x4 downspouts was the way to go to address the water flowing issues. They were able to get us setup with a replacement solution in a weeks time. We addressed all the pooling issues and relocated some of the downspouts. The process was extremely painless and they took care of everything needed. **After a couple of weeks we found that a cap had a slow leak above the garage. Everything else has been doing splendidly. We reached out to Nick and he replied to me in a few minutes was able to get someone out to correct this the next day. They even made some additions for us to finish off the look of the gutters. He took really good care of us and we really wanted to show our appreciation for the care they brought to our home.

The seller's insurance company inspected and noted very little damage. The home's seller, who was dealing in good faith, had the ridge caps replaced. There were, however, inconsistencies in the age and overall condition of the roof. Tarrant Roofing had roofed my previous house with a 50 year rated, Class 4, Malarkey architectural roof. They had done a beautiful job for me. Years later a wind storm blew an old flat roll roof off of our patio. I turned to Judy Hannah at Tarrant Roofing. When Judy saw the damage she called other crews and sales people to come help. This was an older roof that had not been replaced before. Since Tarrant Roofing had done such a great job, on my house before, I hadn't hesitate calling Judy. She got over 10 people to pull the blown off roofing back on to cover the patio and secured it until I could get the insurance company to evaluate the damage. They did this without causing further damage to my precious Malarkey 50 year roof. Unfortunately we sold this house before the roof was fully repaired. The insurance company was adversarial, to understate the problem. Anyway, back to my grandson's future home. We called Judy 2 days before closing. She made a hole in her schedule and inspected the roof. She clarified that the roof was a higher rated roof than had been reported to us. Additionally, she noted that it was in good condition and had 8 or possibly 10 more years of life. We managed to get the sale of the house back on schedule and proceeded to closing. We sent a copy of the excellent report that Judy wrote, complete with the numerous photos to our real estate agent. Additionally, the report Judy wrote included a one year guarantee against leaks. Tarrant Roofing will repair any leaks that might happen for the year following the inspection. Remember, they did not install or repair the roof. Also, remember, it was a FREE inspection! We get the key to the house on Monday. Thanks again Judy Hannah!
