They showed up at the expected time, the foreman explained the process as I asked questions. They finished placing 20 piers in one day! They also restored the property to it's original condition. Needing foundation work on a rental house I own, I contacted three companies and chose Structured not only because their price was well below the competition, but it is my understanding they an employee-owned business. They arrived on time with a large crew and completed the work in one day, to my absolute amazement. I visited the home during the process and had some questions about the process that they answered to my satisfaction. I am a home inspector and have dealt with foundation repairs on other properties, so I feel my knowledge is sufficient to say that they did the job properly. In the time since the work was done there has been some minor movement, but given the really bad condition the foundation was in, I don't consider it a failure in the quality of the work. The reason this is four instead of five stars is that it took me several months to get the final paperwork and warranty info from them, which they did finally provide. read more

I engaged with an Engineer to have an analysis of my foundation relative to some cracks I observed. This resulted it me calling Structured to have them review the report and make recommendations. I was told the front of the house was sinking and needed to be lifted by Preston Marcom. I observed the cracks getting much worse on the work day and reached out to Preston. He quickly responded with a generic excuse. I went to the crew leader. He just smiled and nodded. Preston went AWOL and the crew left. I immediately got a phone call looking for the balance of the total of $11k. I told Roxanne I would pay when I received confirmation the work was completed. In my opinion she was terse, threatening and said Preston would call. He never did. I scheduled my engineer to come out and review. He came the next day. The property had not been lifted. I then learned my relationship with the engineer was usurped by Structured in the contract I said so they could grade their own work. Roxanne kept calling for money having no idea Preston, her coworker, hadn't called (her threat when I didn't pay immediately) Eventually Van called. He explained that anything that occurs during the process is their discretion and that's in the contract. If I didn't want to pay he'd be happy to put a lien on the house. So at this point I've paid $11K, the foundation isn't lifted and I have larger cracks to fill. Think twice before using this company. read more

We decided to continue to use this company because the former owners used them for adding pylons to the house for leveling. The work team was prompt. The foreman was good at communicating. The front half of our property had been marked for electrical and gas lines prior to crew arrival. The back half of the property did NOT. We called them a day in advance to let them know that the property had not been completely marked and they said it would be fine and they would continue. When the team arrived, we reminded them that not all the property had been marked appropriately for lines that lie underground. They said that they dig blindly all the time and it wouldn't be an issue. The team used a SHARP SHOOTER shovel to dig soil for excavation under the foundation. With the first dig of dirt, they clipped a gas line. This intern required emergency shut off and notification of a plumber as well as the city to come and evaluate this gas line. The foreman apologized multiple times and reassured us that the company would pay for the damages. He himself and several of the team members admitted that they messed up but the main office would take care of all of it. Our plumber pulled them aside and told them that they should know better, and not to use that equipment when exposing, especially when digging blind. We reached out to the office and spoke with Austin. Up until this point the office staff had been very cordial. When we explained to Austin the situation, everything changed. He then scoffed that we were going to bring up the contract. He said they would give us $200 voucher to cover expenses but ultimately it was not their problem. They stated that damages occur when lifting a house, which was understood. We read the contract Verbatim to them, and stated that this did not happen during the act of lifting, but during exposure. Therefore, they are responsible for the damages, especially when they did not have the property marked and were digging blindly. We were then told that if we wanted to go any further, we would need to get a lawyer and bring them to court because they would not help us out. We explained this response to the foreman, and he apologized many times, and said that it was terrible business. That they made a mistake, and that they should be covering the cost of it. He apologized for the rudeness and lack of responsibility coming from the managing office. We spoke several times with the office pleading with them. They once again stated that we would have to have a lawyer to come to any agreement. This mistake during excavation cost us $3000. Then we still had our $9000 bill. Mistakes happen, but taking responsibility and ownership of one's mistakes sets businesses apart. This company will not do that. They have insurance for a reason, but refuse to use it when they cause customer property damage outside of the legal binding contract. I would not recommend this company. read more

BEWARE !!!! This company is based in Euless, Tx. They were hired to fix my foundation and gave me an estimate. I felt pressured by the Structural Analysist (J) who gave me the estimate to hire them before the cracks in my walls got any bigger. Their estimate was the cheaper of the 3 companies that I had contacted for an estimate - so I went with them. I guess the Statement "you get what you pay for" is true. There were many miscalculations, miscommunications, confrontations, poor planning , and additional charges. I should have gone with one of the other foundation repair companies. By the time it was all said and done Structure Foundation Repairs ended up to be more expensive that the other 2 companies that I got estimates from. When I was quoted the job by Bill Tatum I was told they would repair my sprinkler/foundation watering system if they broke it. Well of course they did break it. Tatum said he would be out to fix it in a couple days. 10 days later I called and he said he would be out in a day or two. A week later I called and he said he would be out in a day or two. A week later I called the operations manager, Heidi. She said she would have someone out in a few hours. Well she did and they supposedly fixed everything. It's not fixed. My foundation watering system is spraying water out of a newly formed hole and spreading mud all over the yard. I am fed up with their promises. It seems that as soon as they got their $10K they were out. Makes you wonder about their warranty they claim to have. Response to the companys reply: Interesting that the company goes on the attack when i simply relayed my experience and concerns about the work done and promises made by calling it bullying. Incidentally, i never refused to test the system. I told the crew that since the hoses were buried i would not know if things were fixed until the system had run a few days. As it turns out it took a while for the leaks to wash away the dirt. At this point i will have a competent sprinkler company fix their mistakes. I stand by my 1 star rating. Read the reviews on Google, Yelp and the BBB. This company has a history or posting snarky responses to customer complaints. They certainly did in my case. It tells you all you need to know about their character and integrity. They never addressed their inability to fix what they damaged and simply accused me of bullying. Can't say I'm happy, or not happy. I spent A LOT of money (and then more when they came and did the work and needed more). I feel a bit violated from a cost/estimate standpoint. And not really happy with the end results without any recourse since we still have slopes and now big spaces between the foundation floor and house floor leaving big air pockets. Extremely disappointed with the original results for over $10,000.00. Sloppy concrete work. All disturbed landscape was left a mess. Nothing was returned to what it was like prior to Structured Foundation started. Stones and dirt in the pool, concrete splatter over the patio and outside furniture. Concrete patches where ALL uneven and the gravel topping was extremely uneven. Even though we were told we would hardly notice. So after a few calls with no return calls we finally talked to them about the results. And with in a few days the entire team we back to fix the mess. They did break up and remove all of the concrete patches and installed new ones. The new ones were as previously noted they would be. We were happy with the new results even if it took some time to get it corrected. Most of the landscape was also corrected, however, there is or was still concrete splatter around the deck and furniture. We were pretty happy with the results for the most part, except for the time for all the correcting. The pad for one of the condensers is still uneven. Now several weeks latter when we tried to turn on the sprinkle system, it would not work. And after several calls we are being told that we were told up front it was our responsibility. Which it was never mentioned. Because if it was I would have found someone else to do the work. And today I was told that the boss of the first guy would call. I am not holding my breath. If this situation does get resolved I will make note of it here. If not well I will recommend to anyone that will listen to my final thoughts. Still waiting guys. Very good company to use for these type of home repairs. They came highly recommended by my real estate agent. They were early every time they were scheduled to bid the job, do the work and finalize all the paperwork. The people they used to do the plumbing tests and the engineering tests were very good also. Everything went very smoothly. The were very responsive to phone calls, answered the phone and returned calls promptly. All the work was explained very well and I knew what to expect with the work. We are selling our home the buyer wanted to have foundation inspected. She contacted them to come out. He inspected foundation and we were given an estimate for $4500. for repairs. He said house needed 10 piers. The buyer wanted us to agree to pay $4500. plus any damages done while doing repairs. We declined, we didn't think needed to be done. We hired an engineer to inspect. An engineer is doing an actual inspection they have no financial gain from finding. The engineer said house is structurally sound, no repairs needed. So lost the buyer and the cost of hiring an engineer. I would think long and hard before hiring someone with zero integrity. Update- Seriously interesting answer. I do not know why you are saying my agent is being sinister!? My agent had nothing to do with this. Engineers don't give opinions, they go off of factual information. They are literally involved in everything that is built to achieve structurally sound buildings. Useless Lifetime Warranty. This company has a clever loophole so they don't have to standby the work...it's called Transferrable Lifetime Warranty. If you have work done ,then sell your home, you must furnish a transfer of the warranty to Structured Foundation with name of new owner,date, etc. Realtors, new owners, previous owners and Title Company did not pick up this fine print. I also had to call them because of the sloppy job they had done on my side yard and front drain (mud kept piling up on the sidewalk). Be very careful in hiring this company!!! We hired Structured to do our roof after having success with the foundation side of the company and regret it! Sales was very deceptive on "BEST PRACTICE", codes, pricing, telling us they would work with insurance for hidden damages, reflash the chimney & skylight and make it look better than before. They were by no means the cheapest and we chose them because we felt it would be done right, and never have problem with a reputable company. The day of install and half our roof already torn off, we start to find out just who we are dealing with. The salesman showed up 2 hours after the crew, and I was told he forgot something on the charges and needs add roughly $300 extra for removal of felt underlayment. This is after a sales contract had already been signed by both parties, and his initial inspection he pointed out to me that there were 2 layers of felt underlayment needing to be removed. I asked several times about the cost to replace decking and it would have to go through insurance to recover the cost, and was finally told when all of it was done a specific price and how many sheets were used. We then received an invoice almost double that amount in an email stating that they would in fact not work with our insurance company, as now somehow have a cash deal. I called them out on this and they finally decided to contact our insurance company, and they reduced the charges excluding the removal of felt and the correct amount quoted for 9 sheets of decking that was replaced. All of the turbine vents and box vents were installed in wrong locations and had to be fixed taking multiple phone calls to get this done as the crew was packing to leave, and no one from the company was even here to oversee the job. It was admitted that they shouldn't have booked another job the same day that took our salespersons attention and left our job unsupervised. Damages were done to our gas furnace vent through the roof, somehow it was broken or cut off at roof level, and one of the 90s in the pipe was broken due to the weight of the double walled pipe! They have now denied any liability for this unless we can show proof that they did it, after being told that it would be made a priority and get it take care of immediately. Most people do not walk around taking video footage and pictures while a job is being performed, you trust the company to do the right thing, especially a reputable company! Skylight was installed wrong with flashing so high it caused a gap down the right side of the skylight allowing our AC/Heat to escape, and hornets coming in our home. Their original contractor refused to come back and fix this and they had to hire a skylight company to fix this, who told me the job was done so poorly that it would have definitely ended up leaking! That's great news from someone that Structured hired to fix their mistake! There were also row of shingles nailed so tightly together and crooked that the corners were pushed up like tee pees on the ends of the shingles and took 3 different sets of eyes from their crew to finally get that taken care of. The aluminum softit and fascia repairs that they hired a handyman to do look like I did it myself. We were told it would look great and a rep from Structured has stated she would want someones head on a spike if it were her home. They have denied accountability for the damages done to the counter flashing on our chimney as well, that we paid to have redone last year and was perfect looked great, and now has been beat on several times and covered by a fresh coat of paint trying to hide it, and saying it wasn't part of the job and they never touched it. This after having shown them pictures of before and after, stating it was clearly damaged and had tool marks from their crew trying to put it back in shape, and then coming back damaging it further. Never thought I would need video evidence of damages to prove that it was done by them. No one has touched any of these things besides them, like we damaged our home to make them look bad, the whole argument is ridiculous! read more

The only thing that kept it from being 5 star, is that he overroad the engineers recommendation and added 2 more piers. Once the buyer heard that, of course he wanted the higher amount. I love giving praise to people and companies that stick up for their people, Structured Foundation repair is not one of those companies. In a crazy tight market like NorthTexas, rather than fix a 30 minute problem costing them less than $200, they're hiding behind a contract caveat. Took a year, hard work, and about $500 to get my yard full of grass and sans weeds, took them less than 4 hours to destroy it so bad, I had neighbors calling me asking what happened to the front of our house. I implore you or anyone you know to look elsewhere if you ever have foundation needs. A different review showed them rupturing pipes and hiding behind the same contract. I guess I got lucky? They identified a water leak and proceeded to disconnect our water to where we couldn't reconnect it without telling us the risk. Billy's boss Rodney then blew me off all day and called after O text him, proceeded to ignore me the following day when he said he would call back. My father was in construction 45 years and from the pics says if this company had did very minor due diligence this could've been avoided. He also went to Texas A&M. This is the second time in 13 years that my garage foundation needed leveling. This time on the opposite side from where it was done 10 years ago. These guys seemed very efficient and I was quite impressed how they dug in got the foundation raised and refilled the holes. We had significant rain several days later and they returned to put some more dirt into the depressed spots. Everyone was courteous and hard-working! They also had an engineer come out and do a pre-repair check and he came again afterwards to reassess and confirm the level foundation. I will certainly recommend them in the future, especially Chad, who was my initial evaluation specialist. read more

Similar to another reviewer's comment in 2015, I can attest to Structured Foundation Repair's continuance of using "free inspections" as a deceitful sales tactic. Selling our home recently, the BUYER accepted a "free" foundation inspection from Structured Foundation Repairs. Their report was quite thorough and indicated the need for 12 piers, including a map of exactly where each of the piers were to be placed. Having dealt with foundation repairs at another home many years earlier, and having none of the usual indications of a foundation problem, I was confident that no foundation repairs were actually needed. In fairness, Structured Foundation Repair did offer to provide an engineer to confirm their findings. What??? Their report stated in fact the need for 12 piers and even they don't trust their own results? Sounds like a CYA move. Instead of paying the $6,100 in the repair contract offered by Structured Foundation, I engaged a separate professional structural engineer. The next business day he spent more than two hours taking measurements and said upon finishing that the measurements were "exceptionally good, especially for a slab of 25 years of age". His report, issued the next day, stated "...all measurements are within acceptable tolerances" and "no repairs are needed at this time." Suggestion: Don't get ripped off by inspection repair companies. If you suspect a problem call an independent structural engineer, not a foundation repair company. If selling a house, engage an engineer in advance and include in the listing description "current foundation inspection report available". Best $450 I ever spent. read more

Had some small cracks in corner brick work and one floor tile Scott from Structured did a full measurement of the slab in all rooms found that the slab varied less than a 0.1 inch. No foundation work needed, offered guidance on the down hill side of the foundation. Spent more than 1 hour measuring and documenting the whole house. The initial inspector was courteous. The price seems fair. However, they make you sign an agreement that in case they break something such as the sprinker, they are not responsible. Turns out after they finished their work, my sprinker system did not work anymore and it took me a while to find the problem. It was exactly where the company dug and my sprinker line was totally broken into pieces. Very obvious but was never told about it by the crew. It cost me $400 to find the problem and get it fixed, but they took no responsibility for it. At least they should have told me they broke it rather than let me hire a sprinker company to find the problem. The company came by today to fill my sink holes in the exact same spot. This company is shady! There are plenty of other foundation companies in the metroplex, please take my advice and give your business to anyone except structured. They don't like to honor their lifetime warranty without charging you for more work. While their prices were reasonable, you get less than desirable results. Their communication is sub par at best, and their business practices are sadly unethical. I get it, they're a company and profit driven, but as a repeat client, I guess I didn't expect to be screwed over. It's our first time having a repair on our foundation and we had a lot of questions. Jeff, who came in for the initial estimate was patient with me asking questions about the process, and the fact that work crew were insured was a plus. Raoul and his crew came on the appointed day and on time (September 2). They were very hardworking, professional, and easy to work with. While they did have to dig up the garden, they were very careful to replace the soil, shrubs, and plants back into the ground. I can tell they care about their work because they cleaned up after they were finished and sprayed with water to clean the area. They checked the sprinklers to make sure they worked properly, and they even did a small concrete touch up in my drive way. This is a very professional crew, I highly recommend them! read more

"Your words should be good enough..." My wife purchased a house that had a lifetime warranty with this company. When she purchased the house she reached out to the company (twice and no one called her back). She forgot about it over the years. Well, now we see the house has shifted and we asked the company to come out and repair it. We asked was it anything we can do to get the warranty transferred in her name, and this is the response of the company: they charged us almost $7,000.00 to do the repair and only if we paid that amount would they transfer the warranty in my wife's name. We called out another company and they are charging us $3,100.00. GO FIGURE!!!! Foundation companies come and go in the Dallas area, make sure you deal with one that has morals and is willing to work with you when you need them. They seemed to have fixed my foundation but damaged an irrigation pipe in the process. There was a large leak near the foundation afterwards, which my irrigation company repaired after discovering that Structured Foundation tried to fix it with a different kind of pipe. After 5 phone calls I was told that they try to repair damage they cause but are not responsible for paying for any damage. Buyer beware. read more

They did a terrific job at a reasonable price of leveling the foundation. However despite assurances that they would make every effort to tie back shrubs and would only cut them out as a last resort within 30 minutes of arriving they had simply cut several mature shrubs at the base. It wasnt until the next summer that it became evident. Half of the shrubs were dead as a door nail. Also I discovered a year and a half later that they had completely buried my sprinkler valve boxes. The boxes used to be exposed but now they are buried under dirt they had dug out from under the house and piled in my shrub/flower beds. I am an Aggie and love supporting Aggie businesses, however, my experience with Structured Foundation has been frustrating and insulting. My husband and I are first time homebuyers and bought a home which advertised that it had recently had foundation repair work, however we were not made aware of a warranty for the foundation. A year later and we started noticing foundation related issues. We looked into the foundation work that had been done and found it was completed by Structured. I contacted the company to see if there was anything they could do. At this time we were made aware that there had been a Lifetime Warranty for the work done, but there was a 60 day transfer time frame. The woman I spoke with said they would send someone out to do an evaluation. If none of the piers that had previously been put in place had damage, they would be happy to transfer the warranty with a small fee but if the piers needed adjustment, she would not be able to transfer the warranty. The evaluator came to our house and after doing all of the measurements let me know that almost all of the piers that had been put in place would need to be adjusted and additional piers would need to be added. He then told me the cost and laughed, making a joke about how high it was. It is extremely unprofessional to laugh when telling someone they need home repairs costing more than the down payment on the house. We were not able to afford this cost and put off the work for about 10 months. We then started our search again, but this time asked new companies to come out, as Structured said they would only transfer the warranty if no work needed to be done. Each company we had come out to evaluate was surprised when I told them about the previous work and the lack of willingness of Structured to work with us. One of the individuals even refused to look at the house and had me call Structured to ask them about working something out with the warranty, because it was unacceptable that they were drawing a hard line and not honoring any of the work they had done. I was called back and was told that the person who initially came out to evaluate the home wrote down that the piers which had been under warranty would be covered but any new work would not be covered. I told the individual, that this sounds great but I wasn't sure if it was accurate. He insisted that the paperwork seemed to indicate that adjustments made to the piers previously put in by Structured should be covered, but stated he would call me back so that he could look into the issue more to verify. Later, I was told that Structured would not stand by their previous work and we would need to cover the full cost of adjustments and the new piers. I had no issue with covering the cost of new piers, but really expected them to be more flexible with the piers they had previously put in. He said that once the work was done they would be happy to transfer the warranty at that time to cover both the old and new piers. I expressed that this did little to help me, as I could go to any Foundation company and have them complete the work and receive a warranty. He insisted that it would be different because they would be transferring the warranty and covering all of the previously installed piers, even those that did not need adjusting. I again explained how this did not help me. At this point he stated that he cannot honor the warranty because no warranty exits for this property and he cannot make a warranty appear out of thin air. It is confusing that I was told the warranty could/would be transferred if no work needed to be done or if we had the adjustments completed, and yet on the other hand, no warranty exists. Impressive that even though he cannot make a warranty appear out of thin air, he can make one disintegrate into thin air. While I understand that the paperwork for the warranty states that it must be transferred in 60 days, I am also frustrated that the responsibility lies on the seller to alert buyers to this. If we are not made aware of a warranty, how are we supposed to follow up? He even admitted it was just a piece of paper; this indicates to me that the 60 day time frame is an arbitrary loophole for this company. At one point, he sarcastically remarked that "It seems the only thing I could do for you is change my company's policy." I am so tired of communicating with reps from this company and feeling like I am being belittled, as if we are talking about pocket change. The level of repairs that needs to be done is substantial and the cost is going to affect parts of my family's life. It is shocking to me that they can take this in a light and joking manner. I've yet to interact with anyone here who has tried to be helpful to us. We will likely end up with a new foundation company and having to pay extra in order have the piers put in place "cut" but I would rather do this than work with a company who does not respect customers and stand by their work. read more

We have had other companies over the years recommend $10,000 worth of work on our foundation. We knew they were wrong and chose not to employ them. Our realtor recommended Structured Foundation. They were professional, helpful and helped calm my nerves during this stressful 'event.' Only one corner needed to be raised per the consultant and the engineer that came by to double check his numbers. This is an outstanding company, and I highly recommend them over any other at this time. We are waiting to see how they repair the sprinkler system line they broke during the work. I may change my rating if the sprinkler system is not fixed. read more

Great company to work with. From start to finish, great communication from Tom and his staff. Mark and his crew of 6 were outstanding during the install. Mark explained things step by step in detail and things went as planned from beginning to end and the results were amazing and about as level as it could possibly be. Do not se this company. They cut the power lines to our sprinkler system. We have the pictur4es and the company foreman on site said that they would repair it if it did not work. When we tried to use our sprinkler system, all of the zones where they did the foundation repair did not work. We had to get a sprinkler repair company to come and replace the damaged power lines. 600 Dollars later Structured went back on there foreman's word and said they will not pay for the damage the caused. read more

Fantastic customer (and seamless!) service from start to finish, fair and HONEST pricing (1/2 and 1/3 of previous quotes from other companies!), and today the site crew was absolutely fantastic. I would give this place zero stars. They are crooks. They "fixed" my foundation which was over priced and did a very lazy and awful job. After the foundation was worked on it created a huge jump in the floor and when contacted to fix it they pushed it back until after the year warranty and made me pay for all of it. They claimed they corrected the problem but they never did and I had to pay a THIRD TIME. Don't use this company, they will just take your money and run. read more
