My son had a double ear infection from a summer camp ('swimmers ear') from swimming in a lake a week earlier, and we flew down to TX a week after for his college orientation. Getting off the plane he was in extreme pain because of the added pressure on top of having an infection, and couldn't hear in one ear. We didn't know what to do, but knew we had to address it or he would be distracted with pain during his orientation. This practice got us in the same day, just two hours after we called. We saw Dr. Jose Ting, who is one of the best physicians we have ever come across quite frankly. Professional, clear, concise, excellent communication and "bed-side manner". Clearly highly trained. He gave my son what was needed to heal over the next days, and he started feeling better very quickly. We did have a follow up a few days later with Dr. McMahon as well who was good. But our experience with Dr. Ting really had us impressed. Overall we recommend this practice, and are so grateful our college son got the help he needed so he could participate in his college orientation experience well. read more

I doubt you will find a better ENT specialist than Dr DeJong. I wasn't the least bit nervous about surgery because I was in his hands. He is someone who will always be straight with you. More importantly he will always go above and beyond to find the easiest and most effective solutions for you. read more

No Quaility of care at All.... They should have no star... but this won't post without!!!The office is a wreck,,, we had 4 trips in to get help for a elderly.. and basically their approach was to just give us a bag with a nondescript hearing aid to try.. no help,, no fittings to see if it worked,,, then the next visit the female dr. Actually came to the waiting room door for someone else,... and totally ignored us.., I had made an appointment and she said she didn't have time,, we asked if we could come after and she refused... this office and the company should be ashamed!! read more

Dr. Price was completely dismissive of the concerns I had. You could tell he felt entitled and better than you as soon as he walked in the room. Once I told him my problems and concerns, he basically told me he did not believe me (since I was not currently struggling with what had been going on for the past 6 months) and that it was "normal" (missing class for multiple days, on multiple occasions because of health related issues is not "normal"...). In addition, he acted like I was stupid for even coming into the office and didn't know why I was there. These days we are lacking doctors who listen and validate your issues. Do better. read more

No one ever answers the phone. They give you the option through the multiple texts and emails they send you after hours and on the weekend to accept your appointment, but there is not an option to cancel or reschedule. I started calling at 8 am this Tuesday morning they opened after a holiday and called for 20 straight minutes and was still getting the automated response that the office was still closed. I went so far as to try to call the doctor on call to see if they could get a message to the dr and they wouldn't help either. All of this is after having gone to 3 appointments for a lump in my throat that I literally have to swallow around and they are trying to convince me if it acid reflux. It been going on since September...I need to know what it is!! read more

The doctors are great! Esp the pediatric ones. The best in town. My 9 month old had surgery here and I got exceptional service. The front desk can make your sit forever. That may be their or the doctors fault. But try to predict you will be delayed at least an hour if u wanna visit a doctor. On the other hand it may be worth the wait. The allergy clinic is awesome too. The staff is friendly there however they won't go an extra mile to help you out. If they close at 4:30, they won't give you a shot at 4:31. It's just policy. So they are strictly professional except they make you wait a lot to see a doctor and won't go an extra mile to help you. Given that they are in the healthcare business, I give them 3 stars for not doing anything out of textbook. read more

My daughter needed to have a scope done to check for some issues and Lorin Catalena was recommended to us by a friend. These days it seems to be a burden for people to help you but every person in the office at Texas ENT was patient, kind and helpful - from making the appointment, talking to the billing department to the receptionist. As for our experience with Lorin Catalena - can't say enough good things. She listened and asked questions, went slow with her explanations so my daughter would feel at ease, did not rush us and was a pleasure to work with on looking for answers. read more

I do not recommend this clinic. It's a shame because the Doctor was great, had a great personality and very knowledgeable. However, person in charge of hearing aids is rude, offensive and and apparently has an ego problem. She over-talked me, the patient an interrupted me when I was speaking having the gal to tell me to be quite and not interrupt her, when in fact she interrupted me. I said wait, pointed my index finger at her and stated you weren't talking, you interrupted me. At this point she said don't point that finger at me as if we were adolescents in grade school. Most unprofessional technician I've encountered in a long while. The Veterans Administration advised me to visit a local audiologist, get a hearing report and take it to my Regional VA Hospital. I have Bilateral Cochlear implants and my wife wears bilateral hearing aids...yesterday (June 24, '22) we had the privilege of meeting Taylor and we both were pleased! I have been treated by Dr. DeJong for years and he did both of my implant surgeries-again very pleased! We drive almost 70 miles to this facility and are happy to do so...keep up the great service! read more

The receptionist checked us in and took our copay, my husbands drivers license and our insurance card. We waited 65 minutes before I went up and asked when we would see the doctor. The receptionist told me we never checked in. Then when I told we paid and gave her our info already she turned beat red and walked away. Never came back. I talked to the office manager who kindly refunded our copay and got us back to see the doctor, but that's more than an hour of our work day wasted and an hour of school time for my daughter. They were slightly busy, but not enough to justify losing a patient. Update: They did refund our copay. We waited 25 more minutes to actually see the doctor for a grand total of 90 minutes. Doctor was in there for about 5 minutes. The nurse did take good notes. read more

Both of my sons, ages 3 and 6, have had issues with their ears and throats that have required surgical intervention. We have seen Drs. Kuppersmith, de Jong, Price and McMahon and have enjoyed each of them, and trust each of them equally! I have passed each of their names on to my friends for referrals, and will continue to do so. Often times if we can't get in to see our pediatrician I will call over to TxENT and be able to get right in. Rock star service! read more

This place has very good doctors. Dr. de Jong is great! The main problem is that the doctors are routinely overbooked. As a result, unless your visit is the 1st one that day, you should expect an hour (or even more!) wait: both in the lobby and then in the examination room. As another yelper wrote, they don't do (or seem to care) much about that. Also, in the middle of the summer, it can be freezing in their lobby, and especially in the room dedicated for the kids (with the books and TV). So, take a sweater for yourself (and your kid if you came to see the pediatric doctor). read more

Just a patient mill. I have come to expect to wait past my appointment time even if its 30 minutes first thing in the morning didnt get in until after 9:15. Happily took my copay for me to tell the Dr I want to be tested for allergies and insisted I see the doctor first so they can milk me and my insurance which took all of 2 minutes sent off to scheduling where the lady was on the phone almost the entire time. Oh yeah they wanted twice as much to test than anyone else in network. AFTER TAKING A DAY OFF WORK AND DRIVING 74 MILES ONE WAY. Will die before I go back. Absolutely horrible. Maybe good Dr's but I'll never know. read more

Listen, if you're allergic to anything at ALL, come see the allergy clinic at Texas ENT Allergy Clinic. All of the staff here is caring and fun to be around, they make you feel completely welcome. This place never ceases to amaze me, seeing the allergy clinic staff is one of the highlights of my week. I've gotten the ideas for multiple Netflix shows to binge from the staff here, they all have fun-loving personalities while still taking care of business. GO TO TEXAS ENT ALLERGY CLINIC. I have been using these doctors & facilities for several years . On a recent Friday afternoon I realized I had problems w either hearing aids or ears . I was to have major surgery Monday . I called & was told Nothing available HOWEver I was told to come in & not only did they determine the prob was not hearing aids but ears . Performed a procedure & all without much wait involved. This place is an abomination! If you choose to come here, avoid Dr. Price at all costs. He is spiteful and sarcastic. Even though he went through the motions of performing an exam, he ignored symptoms and offered no treatment options. I left this clinic with no treatment plan and an insurance bill for $180. FOR WHAT? If you're a new patient, the first form they want signed separates you from your rights. If you don't sign it, you won't receive treatment. This form gives them the right to perform any and all tests and treatments EVEN IF your healthcare provider deems them unnecessary. That means of course, that you are basically uninsured when you accept their terms. You agree to pay for services EVEN IF your insurance will not. That's A BLANK CHECK my friend! The office manager will tell you anything you want to hear just to get you to sign that form. She says that they would never administer tests or treatments without discussing them with you. She proceeds to tell you how you always have the option to stop treatment at anytime. I asked her to write that on the form, but she refused to put it in writing. When you're sick and need medical care, people are usually willing to do whatever it takes to receive it. This place will take full advantage of that. They want you to trust them completely, but they don't trust YOU as their paperwork proves. If you decide to go here anyway, then all I can say is... Check your brain at the door, carry lots of money, and bring an attorney with you. Even then, there's no guarantee you'll get quality treatment. Dr. Price and his staff seemed insulted that I would alter their form, but they don't care how insulted I felt because of their blatant distrust of patients. I won't be going back, and recommend that you keep looking. We'll find a good doctor somewhere, just not here. read more

I have visited this office twice, and had futile experiences both times. The first visit, was when I had a massive loss of hearing over a three day period. I went in to find out why, and all they did was wanted to sell me hearing aids. The doctor just shrugged his shoulders as to the three day loss of hearing, and attributed it to "old age." The second time, I was referred to them by my primary physician, because I had fluid in both of my ears, and needed tubes. The "nurse practitioner" that examined me, said I had no fluid in my ears. I asked her, then what was the "goo" pressing against my ear drums, and moving around. She said it must be in my nose, and only "seemed" to be against my ear drums. Then she made me take a hearing test, which had nothing to do with what I was there for. Today, almost twelve months later, I STILL have fluid in my ears. It drives me crazy at night when I roll over in bed, and feel it moving. I also have very poor balance now, as well as periodic ear aches. I no longer drive, and cannot find rides to take me to a different facility in a larger city, so i guess I am just stuck with fluid filled ears. read more

My physician was personable and professional; I was pleased with the services I received from him. My issues stem from the lack of customer service I received from the support staff, both in office and over the phone. A simple error cost me $300 out of pocket. That would be sufficient reason for complaint, but accept partial responsibility for the error. What I did not appreciate, however, was the manner in which I was rudely and abruptly dismissed when I called to have the issue addressed. What I would have willingly accepted as a life lesson prior to the call is now the root of my finding a new physician. That's inconvenient for me since College Station is so small, with limited options in this arena. I would sooner travel to another city than subject myself to the support staff in this office again, however. read more

Staff is horrible! They are not well trained and not compassionate at all. I have been going there 2 yrs to get allergy shots. Most of the time it has been fine but there is one staff member that always gives me trouble. The 1st time she was rude I dismissed it and gave her the benefit of the doubt. But the 2nd time she gave me a hard time, I had enough. She refused to give me my shots. She misinterpreted the instructions. I tried to explain and she wouldn't even hear me out. I'm no ENT/allergist but I can READ and have COMMON SENSE and am an actual doctor. So without even consulting with any doctors she turned me away. I don't know any place that allows an assistant to make a final medical decision. That is beyond unethical. I live almost an hour away and I was leaving the country for a week so it was important to me to get my shots but she couldn't care less. Ultimately, it was determined that she was completely wrong. The next chance I got, I asked for my records and took them elsewhere. Now, I kind of wish I left that place after the 1st incident. However, this story does have a happy ending. Her unprofessionalism led me to find another office that has a great doctor and caring, knowledgeable staff. read more
