if i could give 0 stars i would. the "experience" was horrible. everyone has a standoffish attitude. no rush to help customers in need. in the range i felt like i was being watched more simply because i am a woman and was even told i could no longer shoot in the range after spending almost $100 to shoot. i am so dissappointed in their staff as well as service after having many good experiences with them. Celebrated my son's 18th birthday here with the family on Full Auto Friday. Such a fun experience! This is every person's dream who has ever played Call of Duty. They have ALL THE GUNS. We shot the MK48 and the M4. They also had the AK47 and the scorpion. By no means are these the only full auto guns, they just pick a few every week for Full Auto Friday. Then all you pay for is the clip ($20 each) and hearing and eye protection if you don't have it. No lane or gun rental. They have plenty of other options as well. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. For our annual guys day out (which usually starts in a gun range) I wanted to do something different. Texas Gun Experience is the only facility I know of, in the DFW area, that has full auto rentals with or without suppressors. There are two Angela's that I worked with to arrange this. They could not have been more helpful and accommodating. It was a true concierge experience. The Range Safety Officers were a perfect combination of instructional and pretty funny. They do take safety seriously, though. My experience was so fantastic, I am surprising my mother by firing their Bulldog Gatling gun. Before I write a review I like to look at low reviews. I find many of the 2 star reviews to be just childish and petty. I've been to Texas Gun Experience at least a half dozen times now. I have yet to experience unjustified delays or poor customer service. If you go in when they are busy, don't blame them for the wait. You expect good service. SO DO THE PROPLE IN FRONT OF YOU. Be patient. For Christmas, my wife gave me the opportunity to shoot 3 machine guns. What a blast. I chose to shoot the Thompson twice and the SAW. The young man at the counter pointed out that by doing that and not selecting a 3rd weapon, I wouldn't be getting my money's worth. I used the money left over to put towards buying more ammo for home defense. The guys in the range set me up, showed me how each weapon worked and I had a great time. While I was there, I had at least 3 people great me and ask if I needed help. That has been the level of service I've always had except 1 time when the store was packed. I love this place. FYI, going here must be akin to how my wife feels in a dress shop. read more

I'm really disappointed with these guys. I had them make a Kydex holster for me last year for my Bersa pistol. It broke the other day and I went in today to see if they would warranty it; they wouldn't. The young man who was "helping" me had an attitude and it didn't seem as if he even wanted to help me. In the end, he suggested I go outside to get a holster made. I bought my wife's handgun here, but I don't think they'll ever see any more of my money. in a reply, Trevor countered that I bought the holster a year ago; I said I bought it last year. (It may be at 11 months)). I get it. I only warranty the work for my customers to up to 12 months. But I'm going to call Travis out on his mendacity; the holster I took back to them is EXACTLY as it left their store. I told them my desires and watched them make the holster on the spot. Take care of your customers or not, that's on you. But to accuse someone of modifying your product when they did no such thing is a step that should be reconsidered. read more

Walked in and got immediate attention from the friendly gentleman in a black shirt and gave me a rundown of the situation and offers they had to offer including waivers and safety videos. With that complete, the gentleman at the rental counter today was also patient and understanding to a first time rifle shooter. Hooked me up with a m4, a few boxes of 556 and even an instructor that was a pleasure to work with. Too bad I didn't get their names otherwise I'll shout them each out. Rob, who I worked with, was extremely knowledgeable, very personable and attentive (both on Instagram and in-person) and helped me get exactly what I wanted - a CA5Five6 & a Glock 43X. I dropped in for the first time today. No one greeted us at the first counter or checked our bags at the door, which I prefer to see because not all shooters are experienced, and checking bags saves range officers trouble in the range; it is just safer. Then, we stood in line for 30 minutes behind 5 people to check in for a lane, 2 of whom had never shot a weapon before and had to be walked through every single part of the process; there were 2 and then 3 representatives checking in shooters. When it was finally our turn, the first thing I did was tell the representative that it was our first time there. He then went through the whole process of looking up lanes, etc. and said there would be a wait; when asked how long, he looked it up again to tell us, "As soon as 10 minutes." After all of that, he confirmed that it was our first time there and told us he couldn't check us in or put us on the wait list until after we'd stepped aside, to a separate counter he pointed to, to complete required waivers, and then, he told us, we would have to get back in line agaun to check in and get on the wait list. So, we left and went to another, better organized, range with no wait, whose digital forms are available on a tablet at the lane rental counter. This place's system needs some work. First, I always prefer that someone is greeting, checking bags, and directing (new) customers through the store's process or to the counter they need. Second, new customer should be told, on entry, that they need to complete waivers before getting into line and wasting their time for no reason. If there is any signage indicating this at this store, it isn't visible, well-placed, or clear. Third, if the bulk of people in-store are in line for a lane, put more people at that desk. Fourth, don't hold up all shooters or your members while you teach first-time shooters everything they need to know to rent a weapon or use a lane. Have a separate counter for first-time shooters. Fifth, your members' VIP range check-in should be so smooth and fast that it justifies their membership costs... this was not. Sixth, if a first-time customer ends up in front of you after waiting in line for 30 minutes and they didn't complete a waiver, which takes 60 seconds to complete, assume it is because your process, signage, and communication are the problem, and let them step aside to complete the waiver and complete their transaction without getting back in line, losing their place, or losing the customer, especially if you're going to take 30 minutes coaching first-time shooters or if you've already told them the last lane was just booked but that you're opening the wait list which may be a 10 min. wait now but may be 30 minutes by the time all of the other customers, who have since built up behind them, are added to the wait list ahead of them; everyone's already stuck waiting, so why wouldn't you let them complete forms during their wait. This would also be a good opportunity to inform everyone in line that there are prerequisite forms for lane rental. Booooooo. read more

Stopped by for a bit and this place is pretty nice. "Beverly Hills Gun Club" nice. Clean all around also the atmosphere is pretty chill and inviting. They have all the guns, including some full auto for rent if you really like to party. They also have a Silencershop kiosk. The shooting experience was great. I'm an audio guy and I have to say while the booths are a bit slim the acoustics are really great. Gunfire is tamed down so the crack you'd usually hear isn't as harsh. Someone a few lanes down was letting it rip full auto but it sounded like rapid low thuds rather than harsh cracks. Will definitely be visiting again. read more

By far the best shooting range I have EVER been in. Spotlessly maintained, range safety officers are friendly and aware of everyone's activities- very comforting. Great accessories, ammo and rentals available. Not to mention, this place is gorgeous. My wife and I grabbed a family membership with included unlimited shooting. Try this place! Edit: Going to have to update my review. I'm not going to spend a lot of time providing detailed feedback on your check in process to shoot. But, it needs work. Start with not having people who could be checking in member to shoot instead be answering phones while we stand there. Updating this review a 2nd time. Jarrett from TGE was kind enough to call me and discuss my feedback. He indicated they had made changes to the check in process to shoot, and no longer will customers waiting to shoot be delayed while the check in staff stops to answer the phone. There is nothing I can say that describes firing the M134 Minigun!!! My brother and I got to fire this insane, fully automatic, 4,000 round per minute, building shaking, visceral disrupting, target obliterating, one of a kind machine gun seen in almost every good action movie. One can go to their web site and sign their waiver saving time if you go. Good ear protection is a must for there were guns going off that vibrates your whole body and big caliber full automatic guns being fired. Great 1st visit. We came to Grapevine to try out the new Harvest Hall food hall (see separate review) and came here to find 9mm ammo. No joy; they had some but out of my price range darn. The staff was most helpful and courteous as we discussed the ammo issues. And get a bad boy photo of me with their mini-gun. Only $500 to bust some caps with that gun. Probably a Christmas/birthday present combined next year. Mask wearing right now is at the option of the customer. None of staff was wearing a mask. read more
