This was an immediate red flag because it told me he was not listening to me and was just there to get the job done and move on. I told him that I was experiencing loose stool, and this was an issue that I did not have before starting a medication, and had ONLY been occurring since I had been on a specific medication. And what does he say? "You need a colonoscopy." You're going to tell me rather than ask me what's the medication, let's research the side effects, let's see what dietary changes may fix this, you're immediately going to jump to an invasive surgical procedure? And we already covered that there was no physical discomfort, aches and pains--and that this loose stool ONLY came after taking the medication I'm on. He just wanted the money he would get for having me do a colonoscopy.

I've gotten an excellent massage recently I've been going to John for sports massages and he does an outstanding job, I cannot say the same for Dr. Balin. He rushes you every single appointment, he never checks up on how you're doing how you're feeling, what sort of adjustments you might need, he is always getting you in and rushing you out as fast as possible. He really doesn't care about you even if you've been going for a long time and his adjustments are all the same, they are never adjusted to what you need. It's actually quite comical how little he cares. He gives u the same 5 shitty cracks and says WOW you needed that! 90% of the time after he adjusts my neck I have to finish cracking it myself as he won't even fully crack my neck. It's very disappointing since his massage therapist are so good, however Dr. Balin needs to step his game up and start caring about the people that walk in through that door who are paying a great amount of money to receive a service to better their health. The lady at the front desk told me that my copay was $35 but with a new patient charge it would be $76, but not to worry because all my future appointments would only be $30. So, they charged me part of my copay for future visits on this visit. Then when i realized what had happened i talk to the lady at the front desk again and she says it was $76 because I hadn't met my deductible, the problem is I don't have a deductible just a copay. She also told me that my insurance wouldn't approve a massage and an adjustment at the same time, something that my insurance company told me was not true. Again trying to get multiple copays out of the situation. This place is shady and is participating in bad business practices. AVOID THEM!!
