I think it is very unprofessional for a 20 year old to call a 70 year old by a first name. This seems to be the going thing now. I was taught that age deserves respect and respect is given by a using a title. Ie. Mr or Ms. There is no respect in using a first name. This does not sit well with me. Never should a person in the Public Service use the first name unless they are given permission by the customer. WHAT has gone wrong with business. I do not blame the employees It is the responsibility of owners and management to be sure the employees are trained to show respect. As for what they were paid to do and the person, Jodie. She was very professional and did not rush me. She showed a professional concern and talked me thru the procedure. No complaint on that which is the most important part. Update: I have been contacted by the owner. It was explained that the using of the last name would be in violation of HIPPA. (another useless law from our Government). I cannot blame the business or the employees on that. My wait time was explained. I understand, IT happens, hopefully it can be prevented as most people report they had a short wait. I have changed my rating to 5 star.

The gentleman that was doing the scan has great conversation/stories while your on the scanning table for an extended amount of time. The only problem I see is the walk into and out of the building is not patient - disabled friendly due to the front of the BofA building is closed off since the bank shut down. The parking lot has lots of speed humps, bumps and inclines. Not to mention when getting deliveries the big trucks park right outside where you're walking up to the building giving off fumes and heat.

This is my 2nd go-round (technically 3rd) at the Women's Imagining Center…read more I had a 3D mammogram done here a year & 1/2 ago. I needed to return for a second exam that visit. The phone call requesting a return visit provided a few days of angst, but all ended up well. Here I am again this year. The reception, check in & practitioners have been fabulous on all visits. My practitioner even remembered me from 18 months ago.....Wow! There is PLENTY of room for family members or providers to accompany you on your visit. There is coffee and magazines. I had to fill out one set of paper-docs for my DEXA. They have switched to pretty cool electronic check in docs for a mammogram. They hand you an iPad, you check some boxes & viola. Once it's time for your exam, clients are taken to a changing area with keyed-lockers to store your items (Thank You from single gals everywhere!) They have these 1/2-length, cape-style garments for mammograms which make it a little more convenient to hit those poses for the squish. There are also some longer more traditional hospital-like garments with sleeves for other exams or mobility/modesty issues.....don't be shy....get your mammogram cape on! You're a self-care super hero for being there. Once changed, clients remain in a separate waiting area until their exam. When you are done, collect your things from the locker, change & you're done. Don't forget to leave the key!! The mammogram sincerely not that bad at all. I'm not sure why there are so many stories of super-squishy pain. That hasn't been my experience(s). ** Do not wear garments with metal from the waist-down for DEXA....get your yoga pant day on ladies! On the day of the mammogram, do not apply lotions, creams or deodorant. I remember seeing personal wipes last year. I didn't see those this year. If you have to work or run around before your appointment, I think applying deodorant & bringing wipes would work out well. I saw a few ladies that use canes. I did not see anyone that used a wheelchair. Regardless, I have no doubt that they facilitate exams for anyone with mobility issues. No excuses! Get your exams done. If not for you, do it for your family and all the ladies (& men!) diagnosed in the time since your last exam! Best of health to all.......

I never received anymore bills after I paid my last one and suddenly I get a bill from a collection agency saying I have not paid all my bills. I received two invoices, both of which I paid immediately upon receipt. Despite this, I subsequently received a collections notice for $32, for which I had never received a prior bill. When I contacted the billing office to resolve the matter, I discovered that none of the invoice amounts I received and paid aligned with my insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOB). After insurance adjustments and payments, the correct amounts should have been $15.67, $32.84, and $14.35. My payments of $16.28 and $30.02 (clearly not matching what should have been billed) were not properly recorded in their system. This does leave a balance of only $16.56. Clearly not matching their collections letter of $32.84. I have spoken to them by phone and by email (no reply to my emails). This demonstrates a clear lack of internal controls and accuracy within their billing operations. In reviewing their record with the Better Business Bureau, they are not an accredited member and have multiple complaints describing the same billing discrepancies. I would strongly advise any patient or referring provider to exercise caution! If you get stuck with them, verify all statements, payments, and insurance correspondence carefully. keep records and be on the lookout for being turned over to Collections

When I admitted to the hospital I was worried about my leg swelling, pain, and to be on that continue diuretic medications, but the way Selma makes it easier for me to understand that she print a educational pamphlets for me with pictures that makes me understand my disease process. I also have positive experience with Methodist doctors' team, but they only visit me for 30 seconds to 1 minutes, but nurses are the one who deals with me for whole 12-14 hours a day, which makes a big impact on my life. One of the nurse aid told me Salma works like 4-5 days a week, which is a lot, but I don't feel that way by her positive attitude and energy towards her patients, she always knocks my door and calls me "hi friend, are you ok lol", that already making me feel like I am not a sick person lol. I wish I would never be sick, but if I would I wants to be taking care of under methodist hospital 4-south nurse Salma M. I don't remember where she is from, but all I remember was her smiling face, positive attitude and funny talks which makes my day better. I would also like to share that, as a patient, I can tell we already have a stressful day going on with a lot of interruptions, lack of sleep, away from family, pain, inconvenience environment, but a positivity from a nursing staff truly changed my day. I want to say a big THANK YOU to Salma for her best care and positivity towards her job. I was lucky to have a joyful nurse for all three days. Thank you Methodist once again.
