She assured me that they had made improvements and that they had many issues during Covid. Well, that the negative reports from the past are still happening today. First, I ordered two full size couches. They were delivered on the scheduled day however, there was only one couch and one love seat. The delivery drivers took the love seat back (never unloaded off the truck). Within the first two hours, one of the recliners would not close and made a loud noise. I contacted the store the next morning and reported this and told them I wanted to return the couch because I had no confidence of the quality. I was referred to the headquarters. They told me they would send me a part and when I received it to contact them and they would send repair person. I sent an email saying I did not want to repair a brand new couch. They said I could come in and buy something else of equal or greater value. I had already considered all of the reclining sofas in their store, so I accepted I was stuck with these poor quality couches. The second couch was supposed to be delivered yesterday (I made it perfectly clear when purchasing that I had family coming and that I HAD to have these couches prior to their arrival. I was assured this would be the case. When I called to find out why the second one had not been delivered they said they had texted and called repeatedly and I did not respond. Upon further conversation, they had two of my numbers mixed up on my contact. Now, they had no problem contacting me prior to the first couch being delivered. I was told it would be next week before they could deliver. I asked to speak to a manager and was told they would call within 24 hours. No call. I called and was left on hold for over 15 minutes. I called back again and the call was dropped after the recording identified that I had a delivery scheduled next week. I called again, and the call would not go through. I made the mistake of moving forward with Ashley Furniture despite the reviews, and now I am stuck with poor quality couches and family coming in from another state and nowhere near the space needed for everyone to have a place to sit. I WILL NEVER EVER buy from Ashley Furniture again.
