Great service! Had a little uncertainty at first but they ended up coming through with their word.

One of my biggest regrets is choosing to go to swish dental to get my Invisalign. I had an awful…read moreexperience at a place that I thought was a well oiled machine for Invisalign My final appointment was horrifically painful AND started 50 mins late and I had to stay an extra hour. Yes, my appointment was from 10-11, but it got started at 10:50 The teeth whitening was one of the most excruciating pain I've ever felt. I was actually wondering if it was suppose to feel like torture. Apparently, my mouth guard wasn't in place and while I was left to my own device, I was also suffering away as my gums burned and burned. I wish someone, anyone had just preface - that BURNING is not normal. I was almost in tears by the time I jump out of my seat and nearly ripped off the mouth guard, and whimpering before the tech came to check on me. My bottom gums were all either bleached white or burned. Invisalign is a huge investment - my invoice 7k or over from Swish and I really think that your local dentist could do it for cheaper (the discounts/deal isn't great bc they have such a high mark up), and you probably won't be tortured and left with WHITE GUMS after a simple whitening.

What is wrong with healthcare in this country? Why don't they respect our time?…read more Often have to wait to be seen by the care provider even with an appointment, and we get charged if we miss it but there is no repercussion if they make you wait. We don't have endless time to sit around. Came in for a crown replacement and literally sat in the dentist chair for 30 minutes waiting for numbing to take effect. They said dentist got caught up doing something else (which I thought meant like 5 minutes) and didn't show up for another 25 minutes! Before proceeding with the operation Service really needs to improve. People have lives and can't just sit around waiting all day.

The dentist was great and quickly added to the conversation, letting me know what he saw in my X-rays. If we're being real...nobody likes going to the dentist. But ATX Family Dental completely changed…read morethe experience for me. First off, the space is chic, modern, and actually feels intentional. Not sterile and cold , but stylish and welcoming. The waiting room is super cute and thoughtfully designed, which already makes you feel more relaxed walking in. Every treatment room has a TV on the ceiling (because seriously... why do dentists put them on the wall where you can't even see them while laying back?). And yes, they give you the remote. Full control. As they should. They also give you these cool heart-eye sunglasses while they work on you, which is such a small but fun touch that makes everything feel less clinical and more comfortable. Beyond the aesthetics though, the environment felt inclusive and diverse. I felt safe in more ways than one, and that matters. A lot. ‍ If you're in Austin and have been putting off a dentist visit, this might be the place that changes your mind.

I was a patient of this dental office for eight years and would have given it a five star review…read moreuntil recently. I was in a period in my life where I did not have dental insurance so I was a cash pay patient. When I went in the last time, they insisted that I have x-rays and that if I didn't, they were not "running the business as they were taught ". So as it turns out, Dr. Peters wouldn't even clean my teeth! She talked to me like I was an errant child who was misbehaving. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. I reached out to the owner of the practice and she called me back and apologized for how things happened and even offered to do the x-rays for free. Although I greatly appreciate that, I have no desire to go back and have to see Dr. Peter's. So I advise if you go to this practice make sure you have health insurance or unlimited money because people who don't are not really welcome.

Dr. Tibbetts was very thorough with my examination and gave me spectacular advice on the best care for my teeth.
