So... I've needed drywall repair for a while in my home. Being really nervous about working with contractors, I spent a week getting estimates from a bunch fo different guys. Tim was the one with the best price and he just made it sound so easy. (that's when you know that they know what they are doing) So all my drywall is repaired now, and I am very happy with the results. Someone had actually quoted me 3 x the price and said they would do it in a week, when Tim said it would take a full day. The only reason I didn't give him 5 stars is because I've never had any drywall repair before. He was on time, he did what he said he was going to do, I was able to trust him in my home, alone. He works fast and gets the job done right. Place is clean. Couldn't be happier and would recommend him to anyone that needs drywall/ random things done in their home. P.s. He was able to fix a baseboard that had leak damage and part of a door frame that nobody else seemed to know what to do with other than rip the whole thing off. I liked him so much that I had him do some painting. At the moment, he's not done yet, but I'll be sure to review his painting in my next review. Need some work around the house, Call Tim! Oh, and he'll be happy to give you his references, just ask. I talked to them and they all love working with him. And.. he always answers his phone/messages. What can I say!? These things are important!

Even the other customer in the store at the same time said "wow, great service here" (sarcastically, just to be clear) as I walked out. I get it, I'm not a big contractor but spending a couple hundred dollars on paint is a big purchase for me. Moral of the story is Lowe's has sherwin Williams colors at half the cost and employees that are helpful and friendly.

I did not know there was a paint calculator online and the person at the desk made me feel stupid for not knowing. They used inflections in their voice to say things like "weee have a paint calculator.... online.... on the website....". It made my wife and I feel very very uncomfortable. I tried to defuse the situation by saying "I didn't know if you had more expertise" to which they did the same thing saying "nope.... I use the paint calculator". It's hard to communicate how it came across but it was rude. It was unfortunate because we were prepared to spend a lot of money at the store. On my way out I did walk back in and say that was rude and weird which maybe I should not have. I never do that but I felt so gross inside. The person who helped us was a tall white individual. The other person in the store seemed helpful to the person in front of us. We've been to four Sherwin-Williams in the area the last few days and this was by far the worst one.

Southern Painting Coppell/Flower Mound office…read more I cannot say enough good things about Southern painting. They just finished our house in 2- 1/2 days much sooner and better than we expected. The team led by Anna consisted of 3 ladies and 2 men who stayed with us from start to finish and worked non-stop with excellent attitudes and communication. The work consisted of power washing all the to be painted areas, sanding, caulking all wood areas and windows, fixing several trim pieces, even cementing tiles and trim area on an upper deck. Instead of using a hand held piece of cardboard to protect bricks from over spray they covered and taped all the brick around the trim pieces. I asked them to replace trim around a pole that was damaged by our mowers with weed whackers, Southern replaced the wood and covered it with metal to stop damage in the future. The house is 4,000 SQ.-FT, two story brick with lots of trim including several painted patios, painted columns and many other painted areas. They also painted our inside master bath cabinets and some hallways; work was excellent and completed within a day. I bid several painters, thinking with their good reviews and reputation Southern would not come in with the best price, to my surprise they were lower than all by a wide margin. Working with Leo was incredible; we have never had any contractor communicate more and spend time on the job to make sure all went as planned. I'll probably be going back to them for some garage storage based on my experience with the epoxy floor. I've done several garage floors myself, even special ordering two part epoxy from one of the big box hardware stores. They all had hot tire pick up very quickly which was super frustrating. So a lifetime warranty made sense to me. The crew who came to do my job were great but they did not speak English very well. So communication was not the best. The new showroom feels like a museum experience. They played great music and the lighting was just perfection. The art that they curated for this was really creative. The large metal Man climbing the rope at the beginning of the entrance was an excellently placed artistic touch. I took so many pictures because it was a draw dropping scene to behold. I'm absolutely excited to bring my clients back. The wood wall vignette was my favorite. Everything in it was gorgeous. They had some really fun fans up that were streamlined and not something I've seen in any other showroom. I like the selection of exquisite lights displayed and also love that they carry the full Hinckley line. Some really innovative and creative items.
