Drywall was cut to find the source of the leak along with jack hammering through concrete in the kitchen and laundry room leaving HUGE gapes in the floor for weeks. The owner stated we might have "faulty carpet" which sometimes happens. I contacted the company again to see what they can do since the issues are continuing and received no response. The carpet looks as bad as the 10 year old carpet that was replaced.

I did not however appreciate one of the company men coming by several day later and snooping around my home without announcing himself. He was looking for a lost vacuum. I told him he was welcome to look, which he did, but I didn't have his vacuum. Then for the install crew. Ugh. Keep in mind this all happened between just two guys. To word this as nicely as possible, there is no boundary recognition. At all! It started when I offered them water. They didn't like water. I offered them Gatorade which the first day, they drank 3 to 4 bottles each. They then proceeded to ask me for Gatorade every day after and going so far as to say they "needed it". (I had the distinct feeling they wanted a different type of Gatorade because they asked me numerous times if I liked Gatorade Zero which is what I had.) Not once did I see them bring their own drinks except when they got fast food for lunch. Another day, I saw the one guy was here so I unlocked the door. I hadn't gone 3 feet before I heard the lock click into place. My door has a keypad. The installer had pushed the lock button. It is no where near the handle! They moved my camera modem which I still can't figure out why. It's hidden. They went into my bathroom cabinets (all of them from what I can tell - I know this because the installer told me I could throw away something in one cabinet and an item was used up (then the empty container placed back) in the other.) One asked me what I paid for my new shower. They washed their dirty, caulked hands in my kitchen sink (repeatedly). One asked me if he could buy my grill. Another offered to help me move my bed at any point in the future. And lastly, they sent me for felt pads three different times when, come to find out, they have permission to buy them on the company card! There was one area that was not done well and I asked them to fix it which they did. Every day after, they told me how unlevel my floor was. Well, I didn't build my house so thanks? (I have since found a second area done poorly that I cannot live with...there are a few other areas I'm just gonna deal with.) The most disturbing of all was finding my side garage door unlocked after everything was done. I don't know who unlocked it. But it was unlocked and I never use that door nor should anyone who was here because they wouldn't need to! Basically, I wanted the installers out of my house! The one made me extremely uncomfortable. I did NOT appreciate them snooping in my home/using my things or treating me like their concierge. I have never had an experience like this in my life.

Repairs required lacing in new flooring for several holes that were cut previously to install foundation support and several areas of buckled flooring. The joinery to lace in the new pieces to the existing floor is so perfect that the joints defy identifying where new meets old. They worked quickly and efficiently for about 2 days, exactly on time as agreed. They removed all the debris and vacuumed all areas when done. The cost was considerable, but for the skill and quality of the work, and professionally meeting high expectations, the value received was worth every penny. David Youngblood was excellent in communicating with us and explaining as needed. If we ever need any such future work Youngblood's will be who we call.

They assured me they could succeed where others failed, but unfortunately, the stains remain. After the job was finished, they explained that the lanes are actually 'imprinted', the same conclusion the first company reached. It was an expensive way to learn I should have trusted the initial opinion, but I appreciate their effort. I guess it is officially time to replace the carpet.

Kris and crew did an outstanding job on our garage floor. I had an epoxy-sealed garage floor in a previous house that was not properly installed...grit was not evenly applied and there were slick spots, but I still loved how it looked and how easy it was to keep clean. Before moving in to our new home (before I loaded up the garage with shelves, boxes, tools, etc.), I spoke to one of my new neighbors. He had done extensive research and had many quotes from other garage floor/organization services and he went with Garage Experts. From the first time I contacted Kris in DFW to the finished product and payment, it was easy. The product itself is impressive. We had several color options and fleck/color chip sizes to choose from. When determining what we wanted, Kris suggested a 1/4" fleck with 1 topcoat layer. Installation went well and as-scheduled. Scheduling was easy and payment even easier. Communication was prompt. Finished product was very impressive. Our floor looks and feels great! No more visible stains, cracks, etc. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will use them again if I ever have a future need they can help with. Thanks guys! read more

I thought about doing the job myself when I mentioned it to my contractor. When he explained how much work it was (basically sanding a thin layer of concrete off of the entire surface, then cleaning it to get the product to adhere to it) to just get the floor ready, then paint/seal it, I decided that this was one project I was going to outsource. He recommended Kris and I haven't been disappointed. He and his crew spent two full days prepping, grinding, sanding and sealing. The only part of the process that was intimidating to me was the color selection. Other than that, it was seamless. He is great communicator and scheduling was easy. The floor looks awesome, the kids don't slip and fall when it gets wet and my neighbors constantly comment and ask for Kris's number. It is expensive, but hands down one of the best things I've done for my garage/house to improve functionality and value. read more

Excellent job from start to finish. We downsized from a 4 bedroom house we'd occupied for 36 years to a newly constructed 2 bedroom house. Lots of "stuff" with much less closet space. The Garage Experts representative was very helpful in viewing the situation on-site, assessing our needs and recommending product. We had the garage floor covered, custom cabinets and workbench installed as well as 3 overhead storage racks hung from the ceiling. All went as planned and represented. Installation went as scheduled. Garage now is attractive and very efficient. They even followed up by recommending some accessories outside their product line which we purchased from third parties. We had several quotes including Garage Experts, and they were able to match a slightly lower price on a similar quote. I went with them because they came out quickly and were very communicative during the quoting process. Also had very modern ways of invoicing which kept things convenient. The product and installation were great, they were able to remove a lot of residue from a previous carpet, they also seamlessly handled two cement patches from foundation work and you can no longer tell. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star review is because they didn't clean up my driveway and doorways very well afterwards, so I had to clean a lot of the excess flecks up. read more

We recently shopped for a company to coat our garage floor. We got several bids and through experience learned never to take the lowest bid. However we have also learned that the highest bid isn't always the best either. We ended up hiring Kris from Garage Experts of Dallas-Fort Worth (which wasn't the highest or lowest but very fair ) . He arrived on time to our appointment (which is important to us), was a great communicator and very well versed in his product. We seriously couldn't be happier with the outcome. Did an awesome job, and exactly what was promised. The floor looks amazing. I had to delay a few times due to other work that was going on first, but Kris and team were great to work with. About a hundred different options and the only tough part of the whole process was narrowing it down. We did the roll-on rock with carbon brindle flake, and it reminds me of the gray/blue granite we had installed a few houses back. Absolutely beautiful floor. I had a standard two car garage. I called a couple of flooring companies for quotes and to make sure they were not going to use some inferior products that are out there. Kris was quick to come out where another company just said a phone quote was good enough. I was able to schedule and have it completed on my time frame. We asked Hunter for an all out estimate as if we would be getting all they offered and we scaled back from there. Not once did we feel like Hunter was trying to push us to do it all. One of their reno guys was hurt the week we were scheduled to have our garage done and they were able to keep the dates they promised us and other crews stepped up to help get it done. All with a smile. There were about 6 people total who came to do the jobs on our garage and every single one was on time, worked hard, and incredibly friendly. We really have no complaints. There were a couple of small touch ups that needed to be done after all jobs were completed and Angi scheduled them to come out the very next week (which was 2-3 days after our garage was finished). Justin, John, Thom, and the other guys (forgot everyone's names) did fantastic jobs on the floors, painting the walls, and installation of the slat walls. Thanks again guys!
