I also want to take a minute to thank them again for the roof itself. I loved, loved, loved that roof and couldn't help but feel so damn proud of it every time I drove into my driveway and saw it. I mean, every time! And while I knew it would help decrease our utility bill, I didn't know exactly how dramatic of a change it would be. Thanks to Southwest Metal Roofing, I believe my average CPS Energy invoice was in the neighborhood of $150 a month -- for a two story, almost 2,500 square foot house. Un. Be. Lieve. A. Ble. The day the new homeowners had the inspection scheduled just happened to be the day our neighborhood was hit with a storm that produced massive hail. My kids and I were nearby and driving in it, as it produced pieces of ice falling from the sky that were literally the size of my fist. They sounded like indescribable explosions hitting my car (we were thankfully able to take shelter under the very last available spot at the local Sonic). My realtor informed me that everyone at the house that morning did, in fact, also suffer the hail's effects. But when it was all over done, and the inspector looked at our roof again, he turned to the buyers and their realtor emphasizing that we had "a damn good roof!" I don't doubt I'll be calling them again when I need roof estimates at any future home I move into. I not only had people stop by the house to compliment my roof and ask who did it, but any time anyone needed a recommendation I enthusiastically threw their name out there. I'll always be proud to have crossed paths with them, and feel lucky to have done business with Southwest Metal Roofing. They should just be glad I don't create their public relations or marketing campaigns. My brain would be stuck on the one word everyone's seemed to use to describe and compliment my roof .... dayyyummmm .... "The best damn roof you'll ever own!" I had a project done for a very large rainwater collection system (55,000 gallon tank) on my home. The installer for the rainwater system recommended American Hill Country Gutters for the gutters. This review is only regarding the gutter portion of the project by AHC gutters. Throughout the initial project Mr. Johnson was okay to work with, except for a few periods of long wait times, lack of communication, and an occasional grumpy attitude. I can certainly understand a few bad days, no problem. After the new installation, I discovered the elbows at the top were not secured, and a few splash guards were not working as expected. There was communication between my rainwater collection installer and Mr. Johnson about making the changes. I called Mr. Johnson to ask about his schedule, and I was surprised to hear they were coming that same day (luckily I was home). When his employees arrived they were very nice. Initially the employee thought he was only addressing a couple of elbows. I explained that all of them needed to be checked. I asked him if he could show me what he needed to do. I was trying to explain my concern about the removable screens that needed to function on the leaf eaters below the elbows. I asked if there was a way to make it work. His phone rang while I was standing there, and it was his boss Mr. Johnson. The employee handed me the phone. I was not prepared for what came next. Mr. Johnson proceeded to yell at me, belittled me, told me I was stupid for listening to other opinions, told me I didn't trust his guys, and told me to shut up and let his guys do their job. It was actually worse than that, but you get the picture. Then he to yelled at his employee as well. I was in shock. After going in my house to settle down for a bit, I came back out to work with the employee. I felt sorry for him for being part of this behavior. Once he was all done I thanked him for doing the best that he could. After having some time to reflect on this, I realize how bad the situation really was. It is possible Mr. Johnson wasn't happy that he was called to do this. Maybe he didn't think he should be fixing it. I have no idea. That's no reason to take out frustrations on his staff and the homeowner. I remained calm and professional to him, and his employee. I reviewed the whole thing on my ring camera to reflect on the incident. I am pretty sure I won't get an apology. American Hill Country Gutters will not be returning for anything in the future, which was probably Mr. Johnson's goal all along. In summary, if you consider a major rainwater collection system on your home, please do not use American Hill Country Gutters for that portion of your project. When you read the other reviews about rudeness by the owner, believe them. He will take your money for an installation, but if he has to come back to fix anything, he changes his attitude. He is not a nice person, especially to women.

They weren't the least expensive option but, although the price differences were marginal, the professionalism, organization, and service Yuras offered were worth the slight difference. Most of our community needed new roofs and the storm chasers were out in full force! Companies we'd never heard of and had practically zero presence on the internet for references were everywhere. Yuras chased no one in the neighborhood. I can't even speak highly enough of the care and cleanliness of the crew. Luke's crew laid tarps where needed and cleaned up after themselves each day (it took 2 days). We haven't found a single nail or scrap in our yard since they finished. They even combed our neighbor's yard closest to our house to make sure nothing landed there! Our other neighbors are still complaining of finding stray nails weeks after they had theirs replaced by other companies! Between shingles selection, other roofing necessities, warranty and customer service, we were very pleased with our decision to hire Yuras. I hope we won't need another roof any time soon, but I would hire Yuras again in a heartbeat if we did.

Just recently had my roof replaced by Yura's Roofing. They were fantastic throughout the whole…read moreprocess. They worked directly with my insurance for all of the adjuster's inquiries. The process was smooth and simple. The quote was perfectly in line with what the insurance estimated. After the job was finished, we had some paint peel from the fascia which is common with full replacements. Yura's noticed the peel and scheduled a painter to touch up all the areas. They also did an AMAZING job with cleanup. We have dogs so we were worried about the company leaving nails and other dangers in the back yard. Well after they left there was not a scrap that could be found. They even came back the day after to scan around the house for any scraps with a magnet. I think the only hiccup in the process was that they only take checks as payment. They also do card, but I think it was somewhere around a 2-3% fee, so we obviously opted for the check process, but the only issue is we haven't used checks in years so we had to order them to be able to pay the vendor. It would have been really nice to be able to do a direct wire transfer. But that is a very minor issue when the product they provide is solid. I wouldn't waste time with other quotes tbh, just go with this company.

He offered a discounted price on his initial estimate as I got three estimates to compare. He seemed friendly and knowledgeable at first, even calling on the weekend to ask additional questions and seemed to really need the work. After work was started, it was only text communication. I don't believe he was qualified for either metal roof maintenance or leak repair. He never did identify the location or cause of the leak. He added so much white "sealant" where he thought would help. It did not match my roof, and peels off when it rains. I had to have him come out a few times because he missed lifted screws and the leak got even worse. He just kept adding more sealant to the same areas and to other areas of roof. He added screws where there shouldn't have been. He added metal sheeting and screwed it onto the chimney cap hoping that would stop the leak. This was not discussed beforehand. I found out after he sent me photos and I asked what that was. Not only did it look ridiculous, but the sheeting made so much noise with any wind; I immedaitely asked him to come out and remove it. A week later he did. When I contacted him again about roof leak getting worse. he did not respond. I contacted him once more mentioning it was still under warranty. He offered me a 50% refund. He claimed that the other 50% ($750) were for the materials - screws and (peeling) sealant. My roof looked awful with patches of white sealant in random places, additional screw/holes where there should not be, unnecessary screw holes on my chimney cap and roof leaking even worse than before. Now, I believe this job (a mere patch-job) was too small for a whole crew so the contracted out to a man named Charles. Charles was awesome, he came out gave me a final estimate and even shopped the best deal for materials. He came out and went full beast mode, finishing the job in a day and reusing some of the materials already on site to prevent having to buy new fence. Worth it!
