My experience with Texas Pride Disposal has been extremely disappointing. Despite numerous complaints to management, I have repeatedly experienced basic service issues, including my trash container being left open after collection attracting vermin and pests on camera at night and, on at least one occasion, trash being left on the ground outside my home. Additionally, I've had multiple unexplained missed pickups for no reason despite following all instructions. Management has repeatedly indicated that concerns were communicated to crews, yet the problems have continued rather than being consistently resolved. The most concerning incident occurred on September 3, when I observed crew members taking photographs of my home during service. I requested a written explanation regarding why the photographs were taken, who authorized them, and how they would be used or retained. A customer should not have to repeatedly monitor a professional waste company, document problems, contact management, and interact with crews just to receive basic, sanitary collection service. I pay quarterly for this service and expect consistent performance. The situation became serious enough that I issued Texas Pride Disposal a formal written demand requesting corrective action and, if consistent service cannot be provided, release from the contract without penalty and appropriate reimbursement for deficient service. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Texas Pride Disposal. Future customers should carefully consider whether they want to commit to a service that, in my experience, has required this much repeated follow-up simply to obtain basic and consistent waste collection. read more

Run away from this trash company--very unprofessional. My trash has been missed for two weeks, even though my sticker was clearly on my trash can. I provided dated photographic proof showing my trash was missed and included the date I called in to report the issue. The company told me a staff member would come back to take pictures, but they never did. Now they claim they have evidence against me, but in reality, they don't--my trash can sticker was always visible. The amount of missed trash pickups for no explainable reason and other issues has become a huge problem since we first started our contract. They also never make it right - they will deny unless you show video evidence (and even when you do they will just tell you they'll get it next time). We live in river Plantation. Our trash cans are continuously left out on the street and get hit and broken. We continue to tape up the trash cans. I have requested on June 10th a replacement trash can for myself and my in-laws that live next door I was told to leave the trash cans out at the street so we have been carrying our trash to the street for the last 14 days. They told me it would be up to 14 days, but more than likely 5 to 7 days. I had to call back again today, June 24th. There has been no replacement, there's been no follow through, no follow-up. Today i was told that they made a mistake and put it in as a new trash can delivery instead of replacement trash cans? I asked to speak to a supervisor due to the fact they were reading me off the same verbiage. I heard the first time. He said that he would speak to someone and let me know. He came back on the phone and refused the supervisor they've told me now I have to wait another 5 to 7 additional days due to them putting in the request wrong. The trash cans are constantly left on the the road even after I called the first time. We put duct tape over it. The raccoons keep getting in and pulling out the trash. Apparently.they do not care about their image or the reputation. And I'm requesting RP to change services. They are nice and apologize every time but duct tape can usually fix everything but not lack of service on their part. There about 800 houses in RP and a lot have broken lids and busted bins with you guessed it duct tape which we supply. We put it on the side of the street like we are supposed to just take the time and respect and return it correctly. Continued disappointment! December 18, 2025 I get an envelope in the mail from Texas Pride Disposal. Assuming it is the bill, I do not open it and immediately. Saturday December 20, the truck leaves my trash and picks up the neighbors next to me. I then open the envelope and find a late notice with a $25 dollar late fee. I never got a bill. I immediately go on line and make full payment . The payment posts on the 23. Friday the 26, I get a letter from Texas Pride saying they made a billing error and had never sent a bill. I would give less than 1 star. you get put on hold immediately for new business. Several times I had to leave my phone number before getting a call back. The customer service was terrible. 66 a month i billed In 3 month increments quickly exceeded 225 dollar bill. The billing wasn't explained to me so the first time I paid 186, I thought expensive but okay. The next bill would was 225 with the taxes and fees. completely ludicrous in my opinion. also in order to get service, you have to pay for the trash can up front like another 200 dollars. So forest bill will easily exceed 400 plus. Luckily the previous tenant left theirs here. After 1 billing cycle, hardly any communication, and their weird 3 month Billing, I started looking for better options. If Republic services are in your area, I highly recommend. so far, easy to sign up online. Straight forward pricing. Was able to speak to a representative that answered my questions. 40 a month if you decide to do contract or like 49 if you want month to month. We are a residential customer with Texas Pride. They have missed pick up days citing there was no dated sticker on our trash bin. I sent photos of the sticker to Texas Pride and they still deny that a sticker was present. They have left my bin at my neighbors home and given me theirs. I asked them to stop using my driveway to make U-turns because the truck was ripping up my asphalt (sent them photos). All of a sudden, my trash stopped being collected. I called to ask why and was told they didn't want to service me anymore because they can't use my driveway to make U-turns. If I don't care was a person it would be this @texaspridedisposal employee. I noticed last week my recycling bins were thrown in my yard. I didn't think much of it. Today I was home watching the cameras when they came. Now I see why they are that way. He even kicked my can into the yard. Also, I placed yard reflectors in my yard to stop the truck from driving over the grass killing it. This guy throws the can knocking the reflector over, does not pick it up and then proceeds to tell the driver to keep backing up over the lawn where the reflector was. They knocked on my door asking for my business and promised to provide better service than the company I was using. I stuck with them during their period of not picking picking up trash and recycling on a consistent basis. Most of my neighbors left at that time but we stayed. They started to send out stickers for the customers to apply to bins or they don't pick up. They have now discontinued recycling service, at least in my neighborhood. I canceled but they're taking 3 weeks to pick up their bins. They've also not able to answer their phones and call back when it's convenient on their end. This company is horrible! Every period you have to contact them for a service sticker and it is not an easy task! They don't answer the phone nor emails timely, meanwhile, your trash is piling up! Worst collection company I have seen...EVER! Their customer service people tell you what they want you to hear. They will not take tree trimming unless you bundle them in 3' x 3' bundles.....almost impossible to do that. I think I have to put a little ribbon around them and spray a little perfume so their collection people find it more acceptable. Anyway, this is crap. I just moved to a new community and Texas Pride Disposal is the Waste Management company that pertains to our new area. In my community Facebook group I had seen that neighbors had been waiting about 8 weeks to receive their waste bins from Texas Pride Disposal which is a crazy long wait for just a trash bin. I called Texas Pride Disposal and what I had read in the group was accurate. If you want the waste bin delivered to your home the wait time is about 8 weeks.. HOWEVER.. if people want they are welcome to drop by their office in Missouri City and pick it up whenever. So that's what I did. I drove to their office (it's a house LOL) and was able to pickup my trash with almost little to no wait. The lady that helped me just wanted to verify the MUD district I belonged to and after that I just picked a bin out and carried it out. Process was super easy. The lady that assisted me was friendly. It's definitely worth the drive to get the bin yourself vs waiting 8 weeks. read more

This is the worst company to have!!! I really dislike that our community uses Texas Pride Disposal. Their service overall is the worst from Customer Service Representatives to their drivers (which come when they want to). The cost per quarter doesn't equal service received. Cost went up and service no better!!!! I spoke with a representative today who was so rude and continued to over talk while I was asking questions about my bill. This company requires a sticker and yet they don't send them out in a timely manner. The stickers are also a pain to keep on the trash can. So you have to make copies so you can keep putting one back on. Lucky for us we have a copier. Lastly there have been times when the trash wasn't picked up until the evening. Absolutely horrible company. They send out stickers late for trash cans two weeks before they are due we have proof when they come in. We get back from vacation and the driver sees me i had the yellow sticker showing to the driver and the guys, and they literally looked at me and passed by. As a paying customer who has never missed a payment, it's extremely disrespectful to be standing there with the sticker, waving it at the driver, and still be ignored. I understand it wasn't exactly on the trash can, but I made it to the trash can and they clearly saw me. I'm still waiting on a supervisor to call me.
