Everything could improve starting with the way they speak to their customers. More importantly they need to improve how to drive so they can stop damaging vehicles. But this place Texas Pride Towing should not be in service . my sons car got towed and we called ahead of time that we were on the way keep in mind that the place says it's open 24 hrs. we get there and didn't realize we had to have the physical ID we only had a picture of it so they guy who said he is the owner was super RUDE and upset and said it was a Saturday and that he didn't have to be there that he was doing ius a favor while having a beer in his hand. he was very unprofessional rude . when i said aren't you open 24 hrs he said on Saturday he didn't have to be there that he is the owner. I had beed waiting for 45 mins for my so called roadside assistance to get me a tow truck, they said were still trying to find someone who is still open, 4:00pm. I told them to give me 5 mins to see if I can find someone. Texas Pride Towing was my first call, Love the name, and they sent a truck right out. John was the driver, Very Nice, professional, and nice to talk to on the way to the shop, my 11yr son fell asleep in the cab. They all made a frustrating moment, stating from the phone call, to drop off, a pleasent time. I had to pay out of pocket since my roadside assiatance didn't set it up, the price was fair and even lower then I was expecting. They really saved my son and I evening. Great work!!! read more

This place is a joke Jenny the loud mouth know it all that thinks she is the God of the tow yards and goes absolutely crazy when you start asking any questions about the charges on the bill. On one occasion they were called by Bastrop Co sheriff's department to a accident to TOW a truck and trailer to there yard but when they showed up and figured there wrecker wasn't able to do the job they drove the truck and trailer to there yard once they got.it in there yard they unhooked the trailer and charged for 2 medium duty tows and fuel surcharge and labor total coming out to $500 EACH $1000 DOLLARS THE TRUCK AND TRAILER WERE THERE FOR 2 DAYS . When I asked how are u gonna charge me for 2 tows when u drove them to ur yard her (jenny) reply was its my tow yard I can do what I want then started cussing me and kicked me out of the office and didn't let me recover my truck and trailer I had to come back the next day and not saying a word provided the required documents and $1000 cash to get my truck and trailer released from this syco. I had a commercial vehicle towed 8 miles and was charged $500.00. I couldn't believe it. To top it off the tow truck driver wanted to leave our truck on the highway because he didn't want to turn down our street. A year ago I had the same size vehicle towed 13 miles and it was only $250 with another company. I called the owner afterwards, as it was my son who called for the tow truck. The owner said because we didn't ask for the price, "we certainly aren't going to tell you the price". Apparently if you don't ask for the price up front, you get the "special" rate! I'm a business owner myself and this is a complete lack of business ethics. The tow truck driver was rude to my son and girlfriend and uncooperative. If you want to pay double and get treated like crap this is the place to call. Never again will I do business here. read more

Thank you guys for your quick response to my call. The man on the phone told me it would be an hour before he can get someone out here, he was there faster than an hour. Really nice and understanding man who answered the call and the man who came out and loaded my vehicle up on the tow truck was nice as well. He even placed my vehicle in a spot where other cars could still get in and out of the driveway. This was a big weight lifted off of me knowing my kids are safe and my vehicle is home and not on the side of the highway. Thank you Texas Pride. If you are ever needing a tow, call these guys. The Texas Pride tow truck driver was good about communicating his location once he was connected to my service request via AAA. Unfortunately, for whatever the reason, AAA's texting service isn't connected to theirs. It means the updates you get from this towing service might not align with AAA's timeline. It took a while to get towed (about 2 hours) because AAA initially set me up with another towing service(Stryker). I sat for one hour with no text or calls. When I called Stryker Towing company, it turned out they did not serve the area I was in: Taylor. Going to let AAA expire and find something else. It's possible he was called to tow it but regardless he jumped out and used his tools to help us get the new tire on and her off the road in less than 5 min! This is after another towing service was dispatched and just decided not to do the job because it would take to long.
