there is not one good thing about this "Texas RoadHouse" there was this working named "Jose" and when i ordered my food he completely ignored me. and it took him 1 hour to make my drink. he said that my meal would be well made for his "misunderstanding" no not at all the meat was absolutely disgusting my bread was harder than a rock. "Jose" didn't pay any attention at all. "Jose" almost stole my moms credit card. if you get "Jose" as your waiter i'm sorry. be prepared for impatience, rudeness, dozing off, not paying attention. i would do anything to fire him he is the worst waiter i have ever had in my life. if i ever get him as a waiter ever again i'm leaving that restaurant as soon as possible. read more

I go here often. The food is always good, solid. It isn't a 5 star restaurant in terms of menu, but it is delivered exactly as advertised. The meats are very good , best salads in town and the beer is fresh and cold. If you want a good meal that is what-you-see-is-what-you-get then this is the place. I recently moved to Midland from Denver, and I have been here about 3 months now. In Denver, my fiancé and I were regulars to Texas Roadhouse and went about once a week or once every other week. In the 3 months I have lived in Midland I have only gone to Texas Roadhouse twice. The first time I went, the wait was long, which I understand because this is Midland, and when we were finally sat and served my steak was so over cooked I had to send it back. When I got the new one, it was still over cooked and I had to send it back again. On the third try, it was good and I ate it happily. This experience made me hesitant to go again, and we aired almost three whole months to try it again. We went again this evening, and had another terrible experience. I ordered the veggie plate, which is essentially just a choice of 4 sides. As one of my sides, I got a baked potato with butter and cheese. When my fiancé and i's food came out, the baked potato was missing. They said it would be 5 more minutes, and by the time it came out it had been over 15 minutes and we were finished eating. When it came out, it had sour cream on it which I absolutely hate. I had to send it back after I had waited so long for it, and by the time I got what I ordered I just got it to go. Our waitress apologized, and brought the bill and to our surprise didn't even offer to discount anything after our terrible experience. We paid, but I waited to talk to a manager. He was not very apologetic at all, but he did offer to come my meal. At that point, we had already paid and it wasn't worth our time so we declined. It was not about the money, it was about the bad experience. In all, this Texas Roadhouse is a major disappointment with less than apologetic staff who are incompetent at serving the correct orders. I will not be back, and I will have to Longhorn the next time I want to go to a steakhouse. read more

Had dinner on Tuesday with the family for our Anniversary. We did wait about 5 minutes for a table, perfectly normal if you ask me. The food was good and the service was fast. My steak was cooked perfect, as was my wife's. The kiddos food was on point as well. Even for a weekday this place was busy. I noticed lots of employees running around, waiters, bus boys, managers. Good to see them all working. I'm not sure when, but the rolls got smaller. It's fine as we got ours refilled without asking but just struck me odd that they are littler than the diamond shapes I remember in the past. Other then That, Keep up the good work!! read more

This was our first time here considering we are new to town. It was busy but they got us in right away! The host explained to us how they cut their own meat and you can actually choose your own steak from the butcher. Our waitress was very friendly! She was prompt and made good food suggestions. Midland!! This is not a good steakhouse. If you think it is you are either drunk or you have never had a good steak. Texas Roadhouse is a decent spot in the Dallas area. Not sure what happened here but it's not even decent. My family and I went here Christmas Eve. Waitresses were good and that's where I will leave it. Steak was cooked to medium well to well done when I asked for medium. I left it alone because the cut of meat was horrible and filled with gristle. The rolls are good no doubt. But I didn't come for just rolls. If your going to be a steak house learn to cook steaks. The sides were ok. read more

We got quoted a 35-45 minute wait time at 6:52 on a Saturday night for a party of 6. At 8:11 we have seen two 9 tops, four 6 tops and several smaller parties be sat, when each time we asked we were told we would be next. As a previous host I understand that people camp out longer than necessary at times, changing the quote time. But do not EVER under quote. And then tell someone they are next and then proceed to seat larger parties after that, skipping over the person. It's quite obvious that we got skipped over and that is unacceptable behavior. read more

Don't try calling to place an order. They'll put you on hold for 10 minutes, answer to make sure you're still there and then put you on hold again. Spent 15 minutes trying to place an order. Needless to say i did not wait and ordered from a restaurant with much better customer service. read more

The food is not that bad. The NOISE level in this "joint" is unbearable. Sure it is crowded, but the people are not what I am talking about. The "music" is turned up so loud you have to scream to be heard...whether it be to your party or the waitstaff. Of course I would prefer to eat in, I just can't handle the noise while I am trying to "dine". I think someone must have told these people it would turn their tables faster to run everyone out with the loud music. Sad. read more

I love this place. This is one of the few steak restaurants that I enjoy the steak every time. I usually get the 10oz Ft Worth Rib-eye, and it is always cooked exactly how I ask for it. The bread and cinnamon butter are so delicious, it's hard for me to only eat one! The portions and steak/bread sizes are much better and fresher in Midland than in Odessa, so I definitely recommend Midland's restaurant. read more

Passing through the middle of nowhere and thanks to Yelp and local's suggestion, ate here. Packed place on a Monday night, filled with people rooting for the Rangers (who cares about the World Series if the Yanks are not playing) and kind of Western and Country, so we were a little worried it might be too much. Everytime my husband & myself have been here the steak has been awesome!!! Cooked & seasoned perfectly! It is a bit pricey but we treat ourselves whenever we get the chance or the craving for steak. My only complaint is that the bread comes with cinnamon butter...I just don't think of having something sweet like that before I eat dinner. So every time we have to ask for regular butter. I know we can't be the only ones who do this! Texas Roadhouse: Get a clue & just put a little cup of regular butter with the rolls!!! That will save the servers some time. read more

Not worth the wait... every time I have been, no matter if it was with one other person or up to eight, I have had to wait over an hour. I really wish I could give this 2 1/2 stars. If an ok steak place with loud waitstaff and peanut shells on the floor is your thing, then this is the place. the food is ok, but I loathe places where the waitstaff is loud, and screams when its someones birthday. I had to hear all about the birthday at the other end of the restaurant thanks to the loud screams of the waitstaff. NOT FUN. This is not a bad TexasRH chain..it was extremely busy and a lil unorganized with regards to walking the customers in to their tables..don't sit at the front or you will be bombarded by passers-by..and yes they will get all up in your table space. This place was so good it was a Friday evening when we went in my parents sat at the bar for about 30 mins before being seated in the dining area. We where greeted and recommend the steaks are quiet good here so me and my husband shared a porterhouse steak with mash potato's and a house salad.
