Samples of sides for us newbies
    Jennifer O.

I always resist coming here but I'm always glad I came afterwards. The reason I don't want to come is there isn't much on the menu for me- I usually only get the salmon or the chicken Caesar salad. I'm not a big meat eater and not much on the menu is for me. However, the food I always get is good and it makes my husband happy. The staff is always friendly and happy. The rolls are hot and delicious. I'm not sold on the cinnamon butter so they give us regular butter as well with a smile. I absolutely love that I can get a salad or the chili as a side without an upcharge! I also love that their wine and other alcoholic drinks are reasonably priced. My husband is always happy with his meal- usually steak- and we always have leftovers. Great busy environment but a fun place! Will keep on the rotation.

8oz NY Strip Steak very good!!

We came in on a Wednesday night around 7pm and there was no wait. This was my first time at the Greece Texas Roadhouse and I was pleasantly surprised with our experience. As expected, the rolls came as we were seated, our drink orders came fast and so did everything else we ordered. We ordered the twisted mozzarella sticks as our appetizer. The cheese was starting to come out of the sticks so they weren't as filled but the marinara sauce was very good! For entrees, my fiancé and I both ordered the 8oz NY strip steak. It's a small portion of steak but honestly after the bread, app, and sides it was plenty. The steaks were PERFECTLY cooked and we were very impressed by how good they were. I tried the green beans as my side for the first time, they were watery and had a Smokey flavor but honestly not bad, especially mixed with a sweet potato. Our server (I wish I could remember her name) but she was awesome!! Super fast, efficient, friendly and exactly what you'd want in a server. 10/10 will be back.

This is out go to spot when we meet with one of my stepdaughters. She loves it! We always have fun. The atmosphere is super casual. Their steaks are phenomenal! It's good food at a good price. My steak was cooked perfect! I ordered the hand cut sirloin 8 oz. With baked potato, and a salad. Salad was crisp, cold, and delicious! Potato was a bit under cooked. None of us really liked the potatoes. Which tells me it wasn't just me. Hubs had that huge bone-in Porterhouse! That beast was 20 0z. I had a bite! Melt in your mouth delicious. It's definitely worth the money! I'd buy that and split with someone. He loved his salad, and Broccoli. He said broccoli was cooked perfect. Stepdaughter had the ribeye, well done. She enjoyed her entire meal, except the loaded baked potato. The cheese wasn't melted, which was a minor disappointment. BIG SHOUT out to our waitress! I feel sick that I did not get her name. But she was so nice and on point. That I gave her a 30.00 tip on 109.00 bill. She is ha day down the best waitress, I've ever seen in action. We of course will be back. I like to review all my visits, and not just the bad ones. We were so hungry! We stuffed everything's in our pie hole, and then realized I forgot pictures. Enjoy, our half eaten plates, and left over pics!

Birthday dinner was so good. Started out with Cesar salad which was fresh, lettuce was crunchy. Rolls are always so hot and fresh and the cinnamon butter is so tasty. My main entree was sirloin and chicken critters. Steak was cooked perfectly. Mashed potatoes were tasty and creamy with beef gravy. Chicken critters are always so good too.

8oz sirloin with loaded potato and came with a side salad

We came here for an early dinner with our son. We haven't been to this location in awhile with economy and all we have been cooking for ourselves. The staff at the door were extremely friendly and nice. Our waitress was wonderful and very attentive. The food was very good. I asked if I could get the beef tips with sauces on the side and they did as asked.. I just prefer less than what usually comes out. My son had the chicken tenders which he loved. My husband ordered the sirloin steak. He commented that there wasn't any fat to it, which he loves. Everything was cooked to order. We definitely will be back

Each course was perfect and service from Russell was attentive and leisurely. The steak was charred outside and medium rare throughout. Recommended by our server, it was dry aged and delicious as promised. It was sliced in the kitchen for ease of sharing and we even had a couple of slices to take home. Some au poivre sauce was gladly provided to go. A great meal. Just a suggestion for Yelpers, if you are dining during daylight, make a reservation far in advance requesting a table towards the back of the restaurant. The glare from the front window can spoil the atmosphere! I've added a photo of the menu on the photo page since it's hard to find online.. most everything is shareable.

We had a later reservation, since it was last minute and on a Saturday night. They were pretty busy, but we found a parking spot and was seated right away. Thea was our server, and the team here was exactly the same as it was in August. Super friendly, professional, and helpful when it came to understanding the menu and specials for the night. We started with a cocktail each, while choosing to get one appetizer (pork belly, which I highly recommended) to share before we went right into dinner. It was perfect. The smoked grits and microgreens complemented the pork belly, and it was basically mowed down by mostly me, HA! My sister in law got a steak, my brother went with the pork chop, and I had the Steak Frites. We had three sides, mac and cheese (I insisted based on the last visit), asparagus, and mashed potatoes. Incredible execution! When our entrees were ordered, we asked to speak to someone about a wine recommendation. Chris the GM came over, and he did remember me coming by earlier in the summer which was a surprise and really cool to have happen. I told him that I LOVED it here, having left in 2000 I never got to know Max's until 2025! We almost ate everything, but still had leftovers to be able to take home for another time. My thanks to the group here, from Thea, Chris, and front of house, and to the team in the back of the house, for excellent execution and an enjoyable evening out to treat my family. We were quoted about a 40-minute wait for a table, but told bar seating might open up sooner (around 30 minutes). They took my number and we stepped outside to take a walk around the block while we waited. We ended up getting a text about the bar seat availability in about 15 minutes. Once we got seated at the bar, things turned around quickly. The space has a really cozy, intimate vibe with dim lighting, warm atmosphere and overall it feels thoughtfully put together. We ordered hot toddies to drink, which were perfect for the weather, and for food we got the Japanese sweet potatoes and the cavolo nero pesto. Both dishes were incredibly delicious - flavorful and well-balanced. Just be prepared for a wait (and maybe stay nearby instead of wandering off), but once you're in, it's a great experience!

It's a small space inside but it's designed well enough to manage a flow of traffic for customers and staff. We sat in the back greenhouse area. I think the least enjoyable part of our experience was how loud it was in the restaurant. Definitely not a good spot if you're trying to catch up with someone and your voice doesn't carry. I couldn't actually hear the specials the server was telling us. I want to try out Vern's again, so I may wait until there's an outdoor table or ask to sit in the second level to see if that's quieter. We tried one of their spring menu appetizer items, the Japanese sweet potatoes with kimchi ranch and dill. One bite and I was addicted, these were so so good. We then moved on to the classics for entrees -- bee sting pizza and the ragu-- and we were amazed at how good everything was! The only note we had was about the pizza, it was very soggy in the middle but still edible if you rolled it over in itself. We also had a few cocktails, and while they were somewhat small, you could tell they weren't watered down in any way. Two drinks was more than enough for me. Overall it was a great experience and we want to try it again. If you're someone who struggles to enjoy a meal out where you can't hear much, maybe wait for outdoor tables.

Unfortunately, this Mother's Day 5/10/26 experience was disappointing enough that I felt compelled to leave a review. We had reservations for 3:30 PM on Mother's Day, and in the special request section of the reservation, I clearly specified that this was a Mother's Day celebration. I also requested a quiet or private booth and mentioned that my daughter is vegetarian. Upon arrival, we were seated upstairs directly next to what appeared to be an employee service area. We could constantly hear employees talking, dishes being washed or thrown around, and overall it was easily the loudest table in the restaurant. What made this more frustrating was that another couple seated next to us complained loudly about their table and caused a scene. Although staff initially explained the restaurant was full, they were eventually moved. Meanwhile, we had politely requested a better table in advance through the reservation system, yet because we were patient and understanding, it felt like we were simply ignored. Service throughout the meal was inconsistent and inattentive. It took quite a while before anyone took our drink order. The wine menu presented to me only included wines by the glass, despite the fact that I later saw servers bringing full bottles of wine and champagne to other tables. I wanted to order a bottle of champagne for the occasion, but by the time our waitress finally arrived, I didn't want to complicate things further. Another detail that stood out was the complete lack of acknowledgment for Mother's Day. I overheard our waitress enthusiastically wishing other tables a "Happy Mother's Day" and asking if they were celebrating anything special, yet she never once acknowledged me or our celebration. My husband ordered a piña colada and was told they could not make one, so he settled for a strawberry martini that was overwhelmingly sweet and unenjoyable. We chose not to complain. The food itself, as always, was excellent and truly the highlight of the evening. However, the service continued to feel rushed and impersonal. I was planning to order my favorite espresso martini after dinner, but instead the bill was simply dropped at the table without anyone asking if we wanted dessert or another drink. One employee who was handling bread and water service also made us feel rushed. While I was literally still chewing my food, she interrupted to ask, "Should I bag that for you?" It made me feel like we were being pushed out. I was also disappointed that despite specifically mentioning my daughter was vegetarian in the reservation notes, our waitress never offered vegetarian suggestions or asked about dietary restrictions. At most upscale restaurants, this level of attentiveness is expected. The most upsetting part of the evening, however, was what felt like dismissive and unprofessional behavior toward us as Latinos. My husband has an accent, and our waitress repeatedly pretended not to understand him. At one point, after commenting on his accent, she laughed and said, "Or maybe I'm deaf." We found this rude, uncomfortable, and inappropriate for a restaurant of this caliber. Ironically, despite the poor experience, I still tipped over 20% -- more than $100 from our table alone -- because I did not want to reinforce unfair stereotypes about Latinos not tipping. Black & Blue has always justified its upscale pricing through excellent food and outstanding hospitality, which is why this experience was so disappointing. While the food remains exceptional, the atmosphere has become extremely loud and chaotic, to the point where it reminded me more of Red Lobster than the elevated dining experience this restaurant once offered. I truly hope management takes customer service more seriously moving forward, because this visit was nowhere near the standard Black & Blue used to represent.
