Popped in for a quick steak dinner an was not disappointed. Every Texas Roadhouse I've been to has been consistently delicious with stellar service. I opted for the bone in ribeye this time around. The steak was juicy and cooked to my liking. The bone for bone in ribeyes really keeps the meat juicy and tasty. The loaded baked potato and mashed potatoes were delicious! The breads of course came out hot with that delicious cinnamon butter. What a perfect lunch after a day of aliens. Restaurant and restrooms were immaculately clean. After a long drive, passing through the farmlands seeing many, many anguses, I must have steak. This place satisfied my craving. We were quickly seated inside. Booth seats were spacious. Noise level average, what you would expect of a well-patronized restaurant. Each steak comes with 2 sides. We ordered a 12oz Ribeye with Caesar salad & steam vegetables, 11oz Sirloin with the same sides. The salad was well dressed, just the right amount of dressing. I hate it when a healthy salads gets drowned with full fat dressing. Makes it awful. Both steaks came without sauce because we didn't want any. Both were tasty and tender. Very satisfying. We were very disappointed at our visit to this location in Roswell this past week! We have visited Texas Roadhouse for many years in Lubbock and in DFW. My prime rib was way undercooked. Unfortunately, they took my sides along with my prime rib back to the kitchen and never returned my food. My sister had finished her meal as I didn't want her to get cold so I decided to decline even getting my food back. We were staying in a hotel and so I couldn't take it to go and eat it later. The manager did take the prime rib off of our bill but if I were in management, I would've forgiven the entire bill and probably issued a free meal in the future. I felt like the staff at this location was not up to the usual friendly, helpful standards of the Texas Roadhouse organization. read more

This Texas Roadhouse knows what they're doing! Expertly trained cooks as my Filet Mignon came out a perfect medium rare! The baked potatoes had a crispy skin shell with ample crunchy finishing salt. My potato was absolutely loaded with sour cream and butter as I requested and my husband's loaded potato was indeed, loaded with bacon, cheddar, sour cream, chives, and butter. My husband ordered the Country Fried Chicken with White Gravy. The chicken breast cutlet had a nice crispy breading and juicy inside. He was surprised how juicy the chicken was for a fried cutlet. The white gravy was a ridiculous portion smothering this beautiful chicken and had a wonderful smoky hint. The cutlet still remained crunchy. Wait staff is super friendly and our waitress checked on us often. We loved the ambience of such a lively place and the aroma of meat, meat, meat grilling. Food was pretty good. I had the 8oz sirloin and ribs combo. Sirloin was a perfect medium rare in the thick part but the steak was cut at a weird angle so the cook wasn't even. Football was on the tv. Not too loud... except for all the birthday celebrations. They were unnecessarily noisy. The service was great to start. I was sitting at the bar and Christine was awesome. Well, if the UFO festival in Roswell, New Mexico over the weekend he decided to eat at the Texas roadhouse. The server was very standoffish and almost rude at first. She reluctantly took our drink order after we sat and waited for about 10 minutes once we were seated. We tried joking with her a little bit to see if that swayed her attitude any then when she came back and took our food order, she had a little different attitude and was a little more pleasing to deal with. once things got going, she was much better. The food was on the plus side. This was probably the best Texas roadhouse site eaten at even though my steak was over done compared to what I asked where I asked for my steak medium. It came out almost well done. But I know better than to ask for it to be corrected as I've worked in the food service business in the past and know what happens once you ask either for another steak because it's overcooked or to be cooked a little longer if it was undercooked. The baked potato came cold. The vegetables came cold. I may be giving it a three where I should be giving it to, but the service as I said had improved as we went along, which is why we gave it a three rather than the two. There were four of us that sat down to dinner. Our drinks were kept full. Our waters were kept full, and that saved the servers tip as we said she did become a little more friendly as time went on. Not sure whether the food being on the cooler side was her fault or not the plates were not hot when arriving as most quality restaurants. The plate helps to keep the food warm. The ambience is Texas roadhouse which is a little more on the western style and this place is also known for the peanuts and peanut shells on the floor. They gave you a very tiny bag of peanuts and a tin can to throw them in. Overall, a three I think is what they deserved. I will never return to this location again. The restaurant was dirty from the moment we walked in -- sticky floors, messy tables, and an overall unclean environment. Unfortunately, it got even worse. After eating here, my family became extremely sick, and we were later told it was E. coli. This is completely unacceptable for any restaurant, especially one as popular as Texas Roadhouse. Food safety and cleanliness should be the number one priority, and clearly it was not at this location. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place until they take their sanitation and food handling seriously. After driving from El Paso I was thinking about steak so when I got in town this is the place I went to! I got a free appetizer coupon from the hotel but of course they would not honor it! I probably should have mentioned this when it happened but I was just reminded of it. We had a really nice waitress that seemed to be having trouble speaking clearly (I think she was a little hoarse) but I could still hear and understand her. A man slid in front of her (like he was literally trying to upstage her, with loud voice and arms waving) and interrupted to, I guess, take the order because he was trying to "save the day". I thought that was annoying, selfish, and terribly rude. He turned out to be the waitress's wife, he was also a waiter. I ignored him and spoke to the wife, we were her table and he just was obnoxious. What a terrible way to act in front of customers. Horrible, disrespectful service from the young employees at the take out section. The manager Vandy never offered an apology for their behavior and really did a disservice to loyal paying customers. So, take your money elsewhere. After two visits with good results we went back to the Roadhouse for a third time. Results were much poorer. The steaks were cooked properly but there was so much salt on them we could only each eat a small portion. The loaded baked potato was refrigerator cold in the middle as was the loaded mash potatoes. We placed our order and no kidding, two tables were seated after us. They got their food and finished. I asked the server and then a manager to check on our order. We've had a great experience eating at this new location in Roswell. Each time, we park, walk in and get a table within 5 minutes of arriving. Tons of friendly staff everywhere! Food is always good/consistent with the chain. Only oddity is you have to ask for peanuts at lunch (which are bagged), but they're at your table in the bucket during dinner. Weird. I have been to other locations of a Texas Roadhouse @ least 2 previous times. We visited early for dinner 5-6 pm. I used their waitlist online. It really was fast 10-15 min. The dining rooms were filling up fast. We were greeted promptly & our drink orders were taken. It took a bit for our margaritas, but we had fresh bread & a cactus onion. Our server was friendly & attentive. There was also a sealed bag of peanuts @ our table. We ordered a chicken critter salad(chicken tenders on salad) & a steak filet salad. Both were huge! The meats were fresh, hot & juicy while the salad was good & cold. The fried onion appetizer was delicious but too big for us to finish. The salads were huge also. We enjoyed it all & had so much leftover we packed it to go. By the time we left, there were people waiting everywhere in the foyer area. Great experience! read more

My and my boyfriend were attending the UFOXPO conference and decided to give this place a try. We went for dinner on a Friday night and it was a 25 minute wait - we decided to go get something else as we were short on time - but hey, if the restaurant is packed with that long of a wait, it must be good, right? We went the next day for lunch, it was a full house but we waited less than 2 minutes to be seated. Hot rolls with sweet honey butter and peanuts were brought to us. Our server was attentive, helpful and kind. The restaurant is staffed very well (I work on the corporate side of this industry,) no skeleton crews here! What a breath of fresh air. Everyone was so cheerful. We ordered the "cactus flower with Cajun sauce" and it was so good! My Caesar salad was dressed perfectly, croutons had such good crunch and the shallow bowl it was placed in was ice cold !!!! Love that !!! My boyfriend had a yummy cup of chili, and then our main course came out. I was so pleased with my steak, smothered in sautéed onions. I also had the loaded sweet potato - covered in caramel and roasted marshmallows. Delicious !!!! I also had the wild strawberry lemonade. I can't remember the last time, since the pandemic, I've had such stellar service, in such a clean and well kept establishment. I am mighty impressed with Texas Roadhouse and can't wait until I'm back in Roswell again (for the UFO Festival this summer, I'm sure!!) as we will definitely be back for this well priced, tasty and fresh grub. My husband and I were on a trip through New Mexico and stayed the night in Roswell. We had a choice between a New Mexican restaurant and the Texas Roadhouse. We decided which ever one was closer we would eat at. The Texas Roadhouse was the closest. What a great choice. The service was great. We were seated right away, and our drink and food orders were taken promptly. Both of us ordered a steak dish and shared an appetizer. Food was very good. Excellent evening at Texas Roadhouse! This is probably the 20th TR we have been to and this was by far the best service we have EVER received. Scott was our waiter and so friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The food was very good. The ribs were juicy and fell off the bones, the chicken cooked perfect and flavorful and the ribeye was tasty. All sides were very good. We had a few cold beers and sangria that was excellent. We were really hoping Texas Roadhouse would finish our last day on our week trip to Colorado with a good experience. Being from South Texas we have stopped at numerous Texas Roadhouse restaurants in San Antonio and other s throughout the state. We ate at this Roadhouse in Roswell on Sunday night on the way to Colorado and had a very good experience. Tonight was probably the worst we have ever experienced from All the Roadhouses we have visited. We never could get refills in water. We told our waitress and also the lady that brought out our food. We ate our food without water. We also asked the waitress for more rolls and she said she would see what she could do with a look in her face like if to say don't count on it. We asked another waitress and we got some rolls. There were 4 in our party and the order really wasn't hard to remember. Three salads with an order of shrimp and a pork chop plate with mash potatoes. My wife ordered a Long Island tea and I ordered a beer. The other 2 in our party had water. They brought the 3 salads out and we finished them and still waited for the pork chop and shrimp. Then they brought the pork chop out and we asked the waitress for more water and the shrimp. As we ate we looked for our waitress or the waitress that brought out the pork chop so we could get some water. Finally our waitress came by and we asked her for water refill and the order of shrimp. She said she would check on it. Another waitress brought the shrimp and we asked for some water and she said ok. We finished our food, still no water and we could not find our waitress. By then we were done with this place so we asked the desk personnel that greets customers as they enter, for our ticket so we could pay and leave. Apparently she told the manager and she came to our table. We told her about the poor service and she did apologize and said the regular waitress for that section got injured so she had other waitresses working her area. She also took off six dollars from our ticket. I understand that a discount these days is good to have but I don't care about discounts. The parking lot was reasonably full, but not so full that we couldn't find a good space. We arrived at 11:00 AM on a Sunday and were taken immediately to our table accompanied by a young man with some warm rolls for our table. The wife ordered the prime rib cooked Medium and baked potato while I got the full rack of ribs and baked potato. The second side for each of us was the steamed broccoli and carrots. The wife ordered ice water and I got the unsweet tea. The service by Consuelo was prompt and the food was cooked nearly perfectly. Certainly, no complaints there. I prefer my steamed veggies to steam longer, and I presume these will as the day goes on, but we were right there at opening. The manager came to check on us and we were doing fine. She was very nice and congenial. If there were any room for improvement at all, it would be very minor suggestions. For example, the little wipette packets for cleaning my hands after the ribs were tiny. TINY, (about half the size of my palm) and therefore I could have used four of them instead of two. Really the only thing I would insist on changing, if possible, would be that they really need to reserve a corner or room of the dining area that is not blasting the music the entire time. It is so loud, you can't have a conversation without shouting, so that's what everyone was doing. It sounds like it is cranked up for dancing, like foreground music, and to my way of thinking, it should be very quiet, very low-energy background music. The bill came to $62.13 for lunch for two, which is survivable, I suppose, but too rich to go there on a regular basis, so for value, I have to score Texas Roadhouse a 5 out of 10. I give the food preparation a 10, and the service a 9.5. Definitely a good place for special occasions if you don't need to converse. read more

Horrible experience. The way the restaurant sits their tables is a complete joke. They will tell you your table is ready and then have you sit in the middle of the hallway for another 20-30 minutes.
