On our departure day(12/03/2025), one of our repaired basement doors had a glitch and was malfunctioning. The original tech was not available, but Pete said he'd figure it out. Within five minutes, he and a service tech named Paul walked out to our Coach in the campground, and Paul got on his back and went to town on the door. It was clear that he was working on another rig when called, but immediately jumped in to help. The strut was replaced, the door was adjusted, and we were on our way. NIRVC is not the cheapest place around, but if you're wanting the job done and done right, it's worth it. Well done, especially Paul for going above and beyond, and we'll continue to support NIRVC. We took our RV to National Indoor RV Centers in March for several repairs and a couple of recalls…read more They kept the RV for nearly two months, and throughout the entire process communication was extremely poor. During that time I dealt with four different people in the service department because the point of contact kept changing. Getting updates was difficult and most of the time I had to repeatedly call, leave messages, or physically drive to the dealership just to get information. Even then, the responses often felt dismissive and unhelpful. I do understand that staffing changes happen and one of the service advisors is no longer there, but that does not excuse the complete lack of communication and customer service we experienced. What made the situation even more frustrating was finally picking up the RV after almost two months only to discover that the recall related issues were still happening exactly as before. We returned to discuss the problem and initially were told the technician drove the RV and everything was fixed. However, deeper in the technician notes it stated that Spartan, the chassis manufacturer, does not yet have a fix for these known issues. Apparently the problems are known and not considered unsafe, but no one communicated that to us before pickup. Had someone simply explained the situation honestly and proactively, this entire experience would have gone much differently. Instead we spent two months waiting, struggled to get updates, picked up the RV believing the issues were resolved, and immediately discovered they were not. We chose NIRVC because of the positive image they project online and through RV influencer reviews, but based on our experience the service department fell far short of expectations. The lack of communication, poor follow through, and failure to clearly explain unresolved issues made this an incredibly disappointing experience.

Motor Home Specialist (MHSRV), of Alvarado, put a whole new…read moreroof on this 2003 Winnebago Journey 34H for $19,100. Fast forward 10 months and about 200 miles later, my RV was parked at a gliderport in Midlothian, when a thunderstorm with 25 knot wind gusts blew 2/3rd of the roof completely off. On contacting MHSRV, their Service Manager told me that they only warranty their work for 90 days! Needless to say, I did not take the motorhome back to them so that they could charge me another $19,100 to do another sub-par job. The shop I did end up taking it to, Quality RV Solutions, also in Alvarado, upon disassembly of the damaged roof, discovered that MHSRV had simply put the roof they installed over the top of the old roof, without any bonding between the two roofs, nor between the 'Luan' (thin plywood sublayer) and the fiberglass cap. Winnebago specifies the use of 'Red Glue' (Dorus S 563 Adhesive) to bond the fiberglass to the Luan. What MHSRV apparently did instead was pour ordinary rubber contact cement on top the Luan and put the fiberglass down on top of it; instead of applying it onto both sides, allowing it to dry, then pressing them together - as contact cement directions call for. All that was holding the 'new' roof on was screws and a bead of RTV around the periphery; this is why it blew off in a mere 25 knot breeze. I'm glad this didn't happen out on the highway at 75 mph with cars following me. Motor Home Specialists talked a good game, took their sweet time and charged handsomely for their work; sadly it was incompetently done and when it failed they would not stand behind it. I recommend staying well clear of Motor Home Specialists; I will be taking them to court.

We gave these people a call after they repaired our neighbor's furnace in their camper van. They…read morewere quick to reply and came out to assess our problems that afternoon. On their initial visit, the tech told us how to reset our side slide which was experiencing uneven movement and sticking. They also set an appointment for the following week to repair or our furnace. They showed up early for the repair and it wound up being $200 less than the original quote. They removed the furnace and cleaned out the mess left by dirt daubers (thanks previous owner!), then reinstalled and made sure the screen was in place to prevent future problems. Very professional and reliable!! We were impressed!
