Shortly after bringing the vehicle to Dallas, serious mechanical issues began to surface, including oil leaks, temperature gauge problems, and multiple other concerns that required diagnostic evaluation. The estimated repair cost has now reached approximately $12,000. When the claim was submitted, the extended warranty company initially reviewed it but later denied coverage, stating that the issues with the vehicle were pre-existing prior to the purchase of the warranty, meaning the problems were already present at the time the vehicle was sold. Once the warranty company denied the claim, communication with SkyRides Automotive became extremely difficult. Phone calls were not returned, emails went unanswered, and we were repeatedly given the runaround while trying to resolve the situation. Purchasing a vehicle is a major financial decision, and we relied on the dealership's representations that the vehicle was in proper condition. Being left responsible for over $12,000 in repairs for issues that appear to have existed before the sale is deeply concerning. Because of the lack of response and resolution, we are now in the process of filing formal complaints with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles Dealer Enforcement Division and the Texas Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division so the matter can be reviewed. We are sharing this experience so that other potential buyers can make fully informed decisions and ensure that any vehicle they purchase is thoroughly inspected and documented before leaving the lot.

I am an active-duty service member and scheduled an appointment to have the interior and exterior of my vehicle detailed in Killeen. I also paid the required $30 upfront. The first issue was the location. The address posted for the business is 315 E Avenue G, Killeen, TX, which was not the location I was ultimately given. I was instead directed to 3010 S Fort Hood Street. Because of the confusion with the address and the location itself, I explained when I arrived that I felt uncomfortable leaving my vehicle unattended and asked if I could remain there while it was being detailed. The manager working at the time told me that was fine. They eventually began detailing my vehicle. Approximately 10 minutes later, a man who identified himself as the "co-owner," Dominic, approached me and asked, "Is this your car?" I told him yes. He then responded, "Get it the f*** out of here." I did not argue or escalate the situation. I simply said "cool," asked for his name, got into my vehicle, and left. Regardless of the circumstances, I find it completely unacceptable for a co-owner of a business to speak to a paying customer that way, especially after I had scheduled an appointment, paid the required fee, communicated my concerns respectfully, and received permission from the manager to stay with my vehicle. The conflicting addresses, lack of professionalism, and the way I was spoken to made this an extremely disappointing experience. I would not recommend this business based on the treatment I received.

The recent cold has been shocking the spread of this crack, and with vehicles getting smarter and smarter these days, meaning a simple new windshield, requires camera recalibration to the glass being installed and what not. I called the Subaru dealership in Austin, since I wanted OEM parts, but since I was also going thru insurance with Geico, they said they wouldn't approve dealership prices with market rate payments associated to fixes of windshield repair. I found Pro Glass from local word of mouth, and they were so friendly, quick to get the invoice and claim thru to walk me thru the process of working with insurance and get me in the books with me explaining I wanted OEM glass installed since I imagine having the added extended warranty means I need to keep all the original pieces of my subaru if the eyesight or cameras start to fail later on. Amy and team were not only friendly, the quoted 2 hour wait since camera recalibration is included in the windshield repair, went by fast. I had access to WiFi to work out of their cozy waiting lobby area, paid my deductible and I was in and out before you knew it!
