I randomly decided to check this place out after passing it a million times. It's on the second floor and accessible by stairs or elevator. When we walked in, it definitely felt like Cheers but we were the only ones who didn't know everyone's name lol. The workers were friendly with assisting and guiding us but it still was a bit confusing. If I were to return, I'd like to go on a weekend where maybe there are more people who aren't regulars. read more

Not what I expected it's more for an older crowd like a grandmother's 60 years and up

Texas Star Bingo is located on the second floor of the building and is very spacious. When you walk in, you are able to clearly see the openness of the venue, the area where the caller is seated to call the bingo numbers out, the concession stand (to buy daubers, bingo cards, bingo computers, and of course food), and the restrooms. Texas Star Bingo usually has at least three predominant games, which includes early birds and two other game sessions (session one and session two). There are also many options to play other mini games in between the above referenced games. Essentially, there are vast opportunities to win anywhere from $250 to $1000, depending on the day and if you win individually. Depending on arrival time, it's wise to decide a game plan for purchase. Essentially, the game plan could include decisions as to whether you want to just play via paper, do your want the computer to do the bulk of the work, or do you want to do both options. If you are one that wants a mixed experience, you could get that for about $30, which includes two computers and two hard copy cards which are for both game sessions (if my memory serves me right). First time here..played daytime bingo. Not bad. I wished more game and i wished that you can just aff up if how many games you want to put in to one computer intead of more than one computer.( thier computer game is set for each game) so if you wanna buy 6 ser will be six computer) i guess people like that way.but its fun .they have pull tubs which i love playing pull tub. read more

I went to the grand opening, which was yesterday. Although there were tons of people, I was able to purchase my bingo sheets and find seating in a fairly quick manner. I bought the first session game (paper) along with the bingo marker for $9. There are 2 sessions on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (Sundays are earlier in the day.) I didn't win anything, but I did have fun! I plan to come back soon. Also, the rules say no outside food or drinks, but they do allow it, so feel free to bring food and drinks. read more

This place has zero compassion for families of special needs children. If I could give this place zero stars I would. We came here to have a fun family day and ended up having to leave. When we went to buy our cards we were told that we would need to purchase a card for both our kids. My husband explained to the lady at the register that one of the boys is intellectually disabled and is unable to play. She would not give an explanation as to why we needed to buy a card for him other than everyone had to have a receipt. It's not like they had a packed room to where he would be taking another potential players seat. We will never go back to this place, by the looks of their turn out it doesn't look like they will be around mucho get anyway. Also want to mention they are located on the second story of the building and there is no elevator only concrete stairs to get there. read more

Very warm and friendly environment and service! On the 2nd floor which is great. The elevator comes in handy for those who doesn't like stairs. Came her for Customer Appreciation Day in September and I became HOOKED! NO I did not win. But I did appreciate the atmosphere and how helpful the staff is here. This place is BYOB,smoke-free and clean which is a gem when it comes to bingo halls. The caller is perfect, its not too slow or too fast. My first experience with Texas Bingo was an unpleasant experience. The cashiers did not begin selling at their scheduled time and did not make the customers aware there was a system issue. There was a caller (Sheena) who was inexperienced with calling Bingo and Pull Tabs and she was extremely unprofessional. Example: There was a horse race in play and Horse 2 initially won however she (Sheena) made a mistake which is understandable and called 2 additional numbers which caused Horse 15 to complete its row as well. Once a couple of customers stated Horse 2 was the correct winner, she began to berate customers in a rude manner. She then raised her voice at the customer and stated, "You should have gotten my attention, the two customers will have to split the payout of the horse." She also begin to scoff at customers as she was calling and continued to make mistakes throughout the remainder of the 1st session. The second session was a little more pleasant however it just seemed as if their processes were unorganized and chaotic. I'm an avid Bingo Player and it was a little disappointing to play bingo at this establishment. read more

I always go play bingo at this hall but lately theres been alot of favortism to this specific lady sitting next to pull tab counter she gets first dips in all tabs . we all spend hundreds of dollars here mangement its the worst ever i have encountred one specific employeee drunk more than 3 times another employee smelling like weed all the time this is just out of line them employess are wearing lottery commision badges and the manger still approves them working like that hopefully owner is aware of this before this shut this hall down. i certainly will call loterry commision on this issue because nothing has been done . its absurd how they let there employees work like this . the other incident was i won tabs for tabs and i got junk but when it came to this specfic lady on back she decides what she wants and lady at pulltab counter the manger lets her pick . this bingo hall is a joke epecially manger melissa she lets her employess work drunk smelling like weed ans god knows what other things they do at hall and owner is not aware of it i will defently wont go back rather spend my money in another bingo all that is fair to all the customers read more

Nice bingo hall, but Monday night bingo didn't go so well for many of the other patrons; one group won most of the big payouts.
