Well deserved! *** Please Read *** I've been coming to Textūr since it opened. I have a lot to share! And... if you question the authenticity of this review... Please refer to my other reviews. Courtney - the owner. The queen... she is the QUEEN of extensions and red carpet ready color and styling. Her drive is unmatched and her eye is out of this world. She will leave you with an ego boost that everyone will recognize. I highly recommend. Love her! Cynthia - If you're a guy who appreciates the flawless fade, the perfectly procured beard or scruff... clean shave and epic hot towel experience, she is your barber, stylist & friend. And ladies, she is just as particular with color and cuts. Ellen - Guys...nose hair waxing, eyebrow clean up! And while I haven't had my hair cut by her, she is incredibly talented and... ladies... just check out her blonde hair and you'll KNOW. She is incredibly talented. Ashley - While I haven't had the opportunity (yet) to be graced with her color hand... I have watched in admiration for the past 4 years! If you live your life in color, she's your girl! Mimi - Personable, talented and she listens to what you want! Highly skilled and puts her all into your haircut. Again, highly recommended. She splits her time in LA at one of the hottest men's salons! Kelly - I just had my first cut by her and she was such a thorough stylist. I loved the conversation and I loved the cut. On time and she more than delivered! Very very happy! Virginia - Incredibly personal and she feels like your best friend! I haven't had the opportunity (yet) to sit in her chair, everyone who gets up from her chair leaves with a smile on their face and I'm smiling at what an epic job she does. Cassandra - She is highly skilled and has amassed a huge regular following. She is very skilled and talented in both men's and women's hair cuts and color. She has honed into her own realm. Highly recommended. Ahsanté - Barber, barber, barber.... stop looking at Instagram and how clean your hairline and fade and beard can look... just book an appointment. The guy will make you laugh endlessly. And with that... I have to again, acknowledge, what a team Courtney has created. There isn't a turnover here. That's a testament to Courtney and what she has created. And here's my negative.... people are starting to notice how "in demand" they are and you all best make an appointment at least 4-5 days in advance. Ya. It's like that. But soooooo worth it. I've been a loyal customer at this salon for a decade now, and I can't recommend it enough. Courtney has been my go-to stylist for balayage and highlights, and my hair has never looked better. It's stronger and healthier than ever, thanks to her expertise. The salon has an outstanding vibe, and all the stylists are always up-to-date with the latest trends. I also have to mention Chris, who manages the salon and answers the phones. He's great at trying to accommodate me, whether it's scheduling appointments or addressing any concerns I may have. The location is fantastic, just steps away from shopping, great food, and the beach. Plus, they offer ample street parking nearby, along with two whole parking spaces right out front - a rarity in this area! What I appreciate the most is their clear and straightforward communication. They've educated me on how to maintain the styles we've created together over the years, and they go above and beyond to ensure I'm happy with the results. It's rare to find a salon that cares so much about both the style and the health of your hair. I'll continue coming back here for years to come. read more

Been going to Cass for about 6 months now, and my husband goes to Asante (best barber in Carlsbad) for about 4 months. Both are amazing and easy-going. The salon itself is always VERY clean, the lobby has a very comfy couch. There's always windows open and there is a good size patio attached to it. They don't push products on you, which is always way more relaxing than going to a pushy place. They answer the phone on the 1st or 2nd ring and always greet people as soon as they walk in. I went to Cass today and she took me from a level 3 and VERY grey at the roots to a very pretty transitional blonde. I have photos for that and I'm going to make sure to have my husband post photos when he goes in for his next fade. It's a great experience every time and I definitely recommend Cassandra for anyone that is brunette looking to go blonde! - - - UPDATE!! Cass was busy this weekend so I had Cynthia do my roots because I'm going to grow out my grey....SEAMLESS and she got my blonde toned up. Another great experience! read more

Kelly is the best. I always feel my most confident when I leave her chair. I have never been happier as a blonde. My hair has never been this light and this healthy. I have very difficult and hard to lift, stubborn, temperamental hair, and Kelly goes above and beyond to make sure I am absolutely happy with the end results. I have never ever left her chair unhappy, and as someone who has been a blondorexic for over a decade, you know that's very hard to achieve. I will never see another stylist. Kelly is the best blonder I know. She has literally never left me with an orange strand ever. Which is very rare. I've been to multiple high end expensive salons in the area who charge arms and legs by the hour and have left me with brassy yellow and orange sections after multiple sessions. Not Kelly. For what she charges, and the results she achieves, I would say she undercharges, and over performs. I am extremely happy with her read more

I just had the most wonderful experience getting my hair done by Aja! As a middle-aged woman, it's not always easy to find a stylist who truly gets both my hair and me, but Aja is a rare gem. She's not only incredibly talented with color, making natural hues come alive in the most flattering way, but she's also young and fun, which makes every visit enjoyable. Aja has a great knack for understanding exactly what I need, and her friendly, upbeat personality makes the whole experience feel like I'm just hanging out with a friend. Highly recommend this Salon and especially with Austin B.! He is the nicest individual you can meet and absolutely loved seeing how passionate he is about making people feel confident through his work. I am a lifetime client with him even though I now live in San Jose. Whenever I go back home, I will make the trip to see him and get my hair dyed or haircuts with only him. He's a 10/10 in my book. I'm soooo grateful to have crosse paths with him because he's the one I trust that will do an amazing job. I have only started routinely coming here and Ahsante has been number one! The salon has always been very well kept and the environment is welcoming. Many of the staff there are all flexible, kind people who will do their best to help! Ahsante in particular has always been a great talk during my cuts as he passionately talks about what he plans to do while cracking a few jokes. I absolutely love this place! They fixed my hair and gave me a salon I could call home. Ultimately, this is the place to go. I was sick of looking from place to place for the perfect haircut until I came here. Beautiful salon at a perfect location with talented hairstylists! I met the staff for the first time while teaching a Moroccanoil Class. If you're looking for a hairstylist or a barber in Carlsbad, you must try this salon. The decor is stunning, industrial and kept clean. I loved the patio seating outside to soak up some sun while your color is processing and or want to take the perfect photo of your hair with natural lighting. The owner Courtney, is professional, talented and hardworker. The staff are a bunch of talented artists with broad knowledge in hair coloring, hair cutting and hairstyling. Ill start off saying that I did research in order to find a salon that could do the color style I wanted. Not only does Textūr salon have great reviews but it's recommended by the businesses around it as well. I went to Cassandra two days ago and she really exceeded my expectations of what I wanted. She's an amazing colorist, fair on price, and is very friendly. I'm floored with how great she did. I'll definitely go back before my wedding! I've deemed her my new hair girl !
