I was on my way to another stylist to get a sew-in, so I decided to cancel and try Ashdale out since she was a lot closer than the other lady in MD. I learned that she's been doing hair braiding for 15+ years. My hair looks great, it didn't cost me a fortune, and my scalp wasn't throbbing from braids being too tight. I made an appointment at this salon because my hair stylist of 10 years recently began working…read morehere. I have been seeing Mary for all my hair needs since 2007! She is absolutely fabulous! Always does an incredible job and pays attention to detail. She listens to what you want and goes above and beyond to make sure your hair looks and feels beautiful. This was my first time at this salon so I cannot say much about it or review the other stylists but I did like how clean and organized the place was. The location is inside the army base so you will need to get a visitor pass from Tulley gate if you don't have a military ID. It was a very easy process and I didn't have any trouble finding the place or parking. Overall, if you are new to this salon I definitely recommend seeing Mary! You won't be disappointed with her! The prices aren't too bad either for full service (wash, cut, blow dry, and style for around $47).
