I haven't been a customer for very long, actually I had been a customer at Extraco for longer, and I have never borrowed money from this bank before, but I went to the branch Manager/Vice President who is Terri Lankford and she is so super nice and helpful. She explained that the value of the truck that I was wanting to purchase DID in fact appraise enough to borrow against, although that is exactly the reason that Extraco Bank turned me down. The loan paperwork was super fast and easy, and I had a same day decision to where it took Extraco 3 days to decline my loan. This to me was like old school banking where loaning money to customers is what there job is and it doesn't have to be difficult. There was no loan committee, no underwriting, etc. Just the branch manager caring enough about the needs of her customer. I'm sold on the service, and I hope that this review helps others make a decision on where to bank.
