They were so patient and so loving, made us and our son feel at ease and feel like family. Ms. Katie invested so much love and care into our son, she noticed his delays and behaviors and advised us to get him checked for special services and we found our son had autism. Nothing changed in how smiling faces treated our son, if anything, they loved and supported him more than ever. At times, our son had a hard time with routines but Ms Katie and her team always included him and treated him with the same kindness and care as everyone else. Our son learned so much and grew tremendously while being at smiling faces. The community that Ms. Katie has built within this daycare is truly inspiring. Nap times are also so much easier and helped our son transition from home to daycare very easily. They used to pat him and put him down to nap. They have individual beds for each child that are brought out during nap times. Play yard: They have a very well maintained play area outside with a slide, trampoline and little bikes. The kids are encouraged to go outside and play when the weather is nice. Cleanliness - this is a HUGE pro for this daycare as Tulasi and Sara always make sure the place is very clean and spotless. Within just two weeks, the provider asked us to remove our son from the daycare and also kept our deposit money. That alone was a major red flag for us. Our son was crying and having difficulty adjusting, which can be completely normal for a young child starting a new daycare. Instead of giving him reasonable time to settle in, we were asked to withdraw him. What made us even more uncomfortable was that this happened shortly after we started asking questions about the redness and marks we noticed on our baby. The timing left us with serious unanswered questions." One of the biggest concerns was that our son's diaper area would often come home extremely red, and on one occasion, I noticed marks on his bottom. When I asked for an explanation, I did not receive a clear response. Instead, shortly afterward, we were asked to withdraw our child. I still have the messages documenting these conversations and the responses I received. Communication was poor throughout our time there. Pictures of the children were rarely shared unless I repeatedly asked for them. I also noticed there were very limited outdoor toys or activities, and the indoor environment felt dark and uninviting. As a parent, I deeply regret enrolling my son there. Every family has to make their own decision, but based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this daycare. I hope other parents thoroughly research and visit multiple facilities before making such an important choice. This was one of the most difficult experiences we've had, and I felt it was important to share it honestly so other parents can make an informed decision.
