Brian, the owner, was so helpful in listening to exactly what I needed. Although he didn't have any succulents in stock yet, he promised to call me as soon as he got some in. And man, did he deliver! The succulents he brought into the shop were the healthiest, brightest, most beautiful ones I had ever seen (even after living in California)! Not only was the quality better than the succulent selection at Lowe's, Home Depot, and local nurseries, the PRICE was so good! It's a bit on the smaller side, but it has more than you'd think and a pretty large shrub/roses area along the back. The biggest reason I like this place is because it has things I can't find other places. When all I can find anywhere else is Phlox, they've got Mountain Pinks, when I can't find Poppies anywhere at all... they've got two different sizes to choose from and plenty to go around. While every other place seems to still be trying to sell their spring annuals Slifko's has a great variety of some of my favorite summer perennials. Lupine, Delphinium, Fox Glove, Columbines, and plenty of other stuff. I like being able to buy plants like that before they're already blooming so I get the full extent of their blooming period.
