Restaurant was dirty and very dark. We were the only people at a table in the restaurant - there were two people at the bar and it took over 30 minutes for our food to come to us. We ordered burgers and mine was not even warm when it come to me. The silverware was dirty and had to ask for a replacement. Our waitress disappeared after she brought our food and never came to see how things were until she brought the check. Our $27+ check I put out a $50 and she had the nerve to ask if we I wanted change. NEVER AGAIN read more

Fridays is at best a 3.5 star restaurant. And this ain't that great of a Fridays. They get orders wrong so often that the managers aren't surprised anymore. The parking lot is poor - and often people park illegally because of it. Last time I was there, an SUV was parked on an angle through a handicap space (no tags whatsoever) - while it was running (solid 10+ min while I was getting a to go order). I'm 100% sure the staff held open the door and let the person in. The only reason I ever go here is the lack of something better in Dover; if something better came along (WHY OH WHY can't we have an outback!), I'd never go here again. read more

When you go out for a burger, you want a flavor filled fat juicy burger that you can't make it home. That is not what you get here. Even though I ordered a medium burger, I got a dried out mess. The roll was old and flimsy, I got one portion of a strip of bacon. I also had unmelted cheese, a ring of onion, a piece of lettuce that had been peeled for about 10 days, and a yellow white red tomato. The whiskey sauce was more like maple syrup. Nothing about that burger was good. The fries were good. But I went for a burger. Service was OK. But for only having three people at the bar when we got there, there is no excuse for the burger being not cooked the way it was requested and served more presentable. I was excited to fine a TGI Fridays because I knew they sold the beyond meat burger. We sat in the bar so my husband could watch the pregame on tv. Our waitress took the orders from two people who had arrived after us. While watching her wait tables I also noticed she was making all her own drinks not waiting for the bar tender. Then I saw her ask the man next to us if he needed more water, he said yes and she took it from another table where the gentleman didn't want it and gave it to the customer who wanted more water. We sat at the bar, everything was great at the beginning.... until we started ordering our food. I wanted to order the French dip, was told they were out so I ordered pasta instead and a combo appetizer. My fiancé ordered the ribeye. The server asked if they were out of the ribeye (she's pretty sure they were) if the sirloin would be ok. He really didn't want a sirloin but was in the mood for steak so he said ok. For a side he wanted broccoli, they were out of that. We never got the appetizer. When the food came out he ended up getting the sirloin. Nobody ever came back to inform us. In a piece of my chicken in my pasta I bit into a bone. When we got our check we were charged for the ribeye even though we got the sirloin. When we brought this to our servers attention she insisted that "the ribeye was cheaper than the sirloin because it's fattier". Not only did I feel like I was being told I didn't know what I was talking about, but how embarrassing to not be at all knowledgeable about the food you're selling. I really enjoyed coming to this place for gtaduations, or other family functions. On July 1, 2018 . decided to come here. Walked in place not busy. Seated right away. Given menus and told person would be right over. Sat for 10 minutes with no acknowedgement what so ever. Family with crying baby in back enjoying meal. NOBODY EVER CAME. On 7/26/20 we visited the Dover location to celebrate my son's 18th birthday. Although there were very few tables filled, the service was extremely slow and the food was even worse. Three of the five of us got burgers and they were burnt so bad they tasted and had the consistency of charcoal. After waiting an extremely long time to get our food at all, we didn't bother complaining. Our bill was over $70 and only one of us enjoyed their food. What a huge waste of money. Waiter, he was the issue, 3/24/17 We came in before concert. He was ok when first introduced himself but went down hill from there. We asked for a drink called Red death he came back n said The Bartender is not allowed to make them?????? REALLY, WHY, HIM because they cannot, then All you can eat appetizers only had 1 never told me the one I ordered takes the longest we ordered salads they came out with the dinner after waiting an hour for our food. Different folks brought it out. Asked for xtra ranch sour cream, was asked for with order. Also asked for ketchup. PLUS silverware had no Silverware. The Girl had attitude, never came back nor did are waiter come back to check Until I asked for Manager. So half hour later we now for to eat our cold good, and when asked for check my appetizer was not removed the price was changed to a normal price ........no no no brought to attention well you are it nothing wrong with it!?!? A group of us went to scope the place out for a colleague's retirement party and we spoke to a day manager. We reserved a room for a party and had let them know 3 weeks in advance about how many people and that we would order off the menu. She happily accepted the booking and offered to work with us. Our waiter on that day, was fantastic and we requested him for the party evening if at all possible plus 2 others. On the night of the party, we went in to decorate as arranged and let the party begin. After ordering we waited 30 mins...We got half the meals then had to wait to get cutlery. The other meals arrived sporadically. some were finished eating by the time others meals arrived. There was one courageous waitress who valiantly tried to accommodate us all - it was overwhelming for her. She assured one of our party she had handled a group of 50 before but she struggled with our party of 36. We only had one course, and drinks. Water was a surefire order as other drinks were slow, even a cup of tea took 30 minutes. Nope not happy and never again! TGIF really needs to examine these posts closely. I see others with similar issues. The food is on par with other chain restaurants and we pretty much all enjoyed our meals so on that level maybe will make it a 2 star rating.. read more

Very low grade food... Bar food. Ordered the sizzling chicken and shrimp because it was a house special. It was gross and tasted worse than microwavables, so much for a house special. I usually like TGI Fridays so I was excited to come to one since there aren't any where I live. We came during lunch and were seated promptly however the table that we were sat at didn't look like it had been cleaned and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. Ok we will over look that our waitress come over and seems to be grumpy but ok it is Sunday. So once our food finally comes its cold .. Cold steak that I wasn't even asked how I wanted it cooked... This is a good Friday's location, the service is typically good and food is a what you would expect of a chain restaurant. This location is always clean and you are normally greeted at the door by a friendly hostess. I have never had to wait for a table even on this most recent Friday peak dinner time visit. read more

Service was horrible. Drinks sat empty forever, finished our appetizer and just sat there for a while before the server came and took our dinner order (We were sat at a high top in the bar area). Order was not right. A different server ran our appetizer out and just dropped the plate on the table (literally) and then she walked off (drink was empty...). I'm not sure what the problem was here, but most of the staff walked around with attitudes. I stay at the hotel next door every once in a while and I will not go back again. I'm just going to come out and say it, this is going to be a Yelp disaster. The night started off fine. Drink came a bit late, but it was alright. Appetizers came out undercooked, nachos tasted terrible, and the mozzarella sticks weren't even fried. Most importantly though, everyone in my group ordered cheese burgers. Let's just say it was a disaster. Every burger had juice that was filling the buns, the meat was black and crisp, and the cheese was practically wiz; it was dripping off of the burger. I went there on Friday 11/2/18 @10:49 pm for a quick bite to take home with a friend, first we were asked to sit outside of restaurant in door entry and was told by a waitress that host would be there shortly. Well that never happened, we waited over 15mins and no one showed up so I asked couple that was sitting there also and they had not been waited on either. So we waited another ten minutes,still no one. I asked the two waitress inside the restaurant doing absolutely nothing at all and they said they have to wait for hostess in back of restaurant to take our order. That was it, we left! To start off, the bar menu looked and felt like it was submerged under water for a year, ripped and torn up.. There were 3 customers at the bar, I was the 3rd. It took the bartender 15 minutes to offer me something to drink. I saw there were 2 local beers on tap that I've never tried. I asked to taste one. After 10 minutes, the bartender bought it over. Another 10 minutes goes by and I'm finally asked what I wanted to drink. I kindly asked to taste the 2nd local brew. The bartender looks at me and says... You will need to make a decision because we don't give away samples. How rude is that?? If I wasn't starving I would have just walked out. I ordered a Cobb salad with chicken. The salad was good but the chicken was burnt. Next time I would happily starve. Bartender was a black guy with a beard... I suggest getting new menus and new employees. Never again!! read more

This Friday 2/28/20, my son decided he wanted to go to this restaurant to eat. What an utter disgrace it was to walk in and hear rap music being played at the bar with the "n" word permeating the bar area. We were further disgusted by the young African American man standing there with his arms folded and a table that we could've had was full of dirty dishes, and he just said "it just needs to be cleaned off" fine, but we stood there for almost 10 minutes and no one came out to bust the table. It was six of us and the extended table had six chairs to it. The sad part is that the restaurant was not busy and there were several other tables that could've been occupied. Finally, as we decided to go somewhere else, this same young man walks outside and escorted 4 other people in, walked them to a table and decided he was going to "bust" the table for them to sit down, and after witnessing this we walked out. If this is indicative of how this restaurant is poorly managed, and there is a consensus of the same type of failures and mismanagement complaints on this site, then whomever owns this place needs to replace the entire crew and the manager on site that night, and find and train a more professional staff. I will never come here again, and the revenue from our business you lost and others who would be appalled by this poor service will close this place down eventually. read more

Too bad i cant give zero stars. Went for endless apps with the Mrs. We were sat promptly and politely by the young man at the door. He is the only one that did his job.
