At that point, we were ready to order our whole meal. We order very basic: hubby ordered 10piece wing and wedges, I ordered 6 piece boneless stripes, kid ordered 5 piece tenders and fries, and other kid ordered a cheeseburger and fries. We ordered at 8:17 and didn't get our food until 9pm! Nothing that we ordered would take 43 mins to cook! All of that should have taken 10-15 TOPS. Between the server taking our initial order to food being delivered, no one checked on us, we had to flag the waiters down for drinks or to check on our food. Busy or not, basic hospitality, you don't let guests sit that long without any acknowledgment. When the food finally came out, it was cold and you can tell it sat under a bad heat lamp. I say that because a good heat lamp keeps the plates hot... that was not the case for us. My husband's wings were over cooked and "lamp-burned". When I said my wings were cold, they brought me new wings but just the sauce was hot...all I will say is... this has the best the worst and slowest service we ever had for a basic quick dinner !

I decided to get a bowl of the creame of crab soup and sweet tea. Food took a small while to make, but when it came out, it was AMAZING. The soup was in a wide styled bowl with crackers, and no lie. It was perfect. Then my wife had started on her chilli, and she said it was exactly how her mom used to make it from North Carolina, it was THAT Good. Daughter had started on her hot shrimp and was happily bouncing in her seat as she loved the heat and the taste. Then when me and wife got done with the bowls of OMG Goodness, then she offered me a piece of her pizza, and I tell you, I NEVER Had such an outstanding combination on a pizza before as I had here. It was a white flat bread pizza, and the ham was perfect with crisp edges, but the best part was the sweet fig sauce. It was perfectly balanced with the salty meat and the sweet drizzled sauce on top. Michelle came by and asked how we were doing, and she just smiled as we told her how good the food was. She had let us know the menu was changing, and thanked us for letting her know what we liked, hopefully they will keep our choices on those menus, as they will be choices we will definitely order again, the next time we head there for bowling. So please, when you get food there at Alley Oops, tell Michelle how good your choices they are, and see when they change the menu, they keep the choices on. I couldn't recommend this food eatery place highly enough, as seeing how excellent the food is, and Michelle's pleasant personality made the day for us. The rewards program/swirl card system seems like a good idea in theory. You give them your name and number and every so often you will get a 10.00 discount on your order and a free children's pizza on your birthday. But beware, if you have any kind of issue in their restaurant, even if it has nothing to do with the staff, they will use your participation in this program against you. They will give your name and number to the police and involve themselves in matters that should not concern them. I am nearly 40 and have never had any trouble with the law in my entire life until they meddled in my business; the context of which they knew nothing about. They will do this with no hesitation. When you confront them about this they will deny it. But no one else there knew my number but their computer system. To make matters worse they will then ban you from their restaurant. The servers are very two-faced, and the general manager John is one of the most heartless men I've ever met. I was a very loyal regular customer every Friday night for years. I had friends there I loved who I will never see again. That is the hardest part of all. No goodbyes, no second chances. They did it to me, please don't think it won't happen to you. I don't think a few ten dollar discounts here and there and a once a year baby sized pizza with no toppings are worth it. Proceed with caution. I cannot speak for the other locations, I only know they did this at grotto's Dover.
