I heard about TGI painted from a neighbor and called him - he was quick to respond and come out to give us an estimate. I hadn't actually seen his work, but I had heard good things about his work and value and checked out TGI's social and pictures. Tim, the owner of TGI Painted, and his team of painters were at our house for a week. They completed several jobs here, prepared and painted many walls (that were full of drywall patches from a previous plumbing job), puttied and painted our very out-of-date fireplaces, painted several rooms, and re-striped and re-painted our entryway wall. Most of all, they COMPLETELY UPDATED OUR KITCHEN (and bathroom cabinets, too!) by painting our kitchen cabinets and the island. The difference in our house is TRULY AMAZING. Tim did a great job repairing and painting my ceiling. We had a roughly 2 by 5 cutout in the ceiling for fixing the water leaks. TGI went above and beyond all my expectations! We hired TGI to scrape and paint our popcorn ceilings, and paint full interior of our two story home. This included doors, baseboards, stairs, skylight, you name it! The entire process starting from the estimate to the final walk through was seamless. They answered all of my questions and were amazing at timely communication and never failed to make me feel comfortable with the process. They also helped recommend paint colors that would go with the ones I had picked, which really helped me. They took such good care of our house and all of the workers were so incredibly friendly and respectful. They finished in about two weeks, which is way faster than I had anticipated for such a big house. During the painting process, they took the time to make sure every detail was perfect and even took care of additional areas I had not thought to paint. We previously struggled to find someone who would take on this project for the past two years because no one wanted to deal with popcorn in a two story home (I don't blame them). I hired TGI Painted for my interior painting job. This was a big job because I also had the popcorn ceiling removed throughout the my 2 story home. I also had a lot of cracks and peeling paint that needed to be fixed. The popcorn ceiling was a lot of work, mess and repair work of the ceiling after the popcorn was removed. My ceilings look fantastic now that the popcorn is gone! When I purchased my home 25 years ago the previous owners used oil based paint in a lot of places, and then the painter I used when I painted again 13 years ago just sprayed over everything, which created a poor paint job with a lot of peeling paint through the house. Tim didn't just paint over it but took the time to make sure to properly prep those areas so his paint would last. Tim and his son worked so hard on my home and I'm so happy with how nice my home looks with the new paint job and nice ceilings. This is the 2nd time I used TGI since I moved to my house 4 years ago. He literally never disappoints and we had a bunch of minor add ons. We had all our moldings, door and a leak in the ceiling completed. He and his team were absolutely great constantly checking all things we're done correctly and really cared. Wow! This company did a great job in every aspect from start to finish! Quick response getting us a quote and minimal wait time to start the job. Tim and his crew (Nick and Jose) were courteous, respectful and a pleasure to have in our home. At every turn I felt that their # 1 aim was that we were 110% satisfied. They paid attention to every little detail in prep, (chauking, sanding, minor wall repairs, tape, cover, etc) far more than I ever expected. The quality of their work was spot on. Every wall, baseboard and ceiling had clean lines. 80% thru the job, my wife changed her mind on the color we chose. Tim was very understanding and extended the job 2 days to make sure we were happy. On the last day of the job, Tim walked thru every area with me to point out anything still needing attention (not a spot missed). They cleaned the floor, washed the windows and hosed down the driveway and gave us a small gift from his wife. What a nice touch!. I had to come on and write a rave review about our trusted painter, and now friend, Tim, the owner of TGI Painted. My husband and I bought our first home right after thanksgiving and quickly knew we wanted to paint the entire interior of the home, including baseboards, ceilings, doors, stair railing, and garage. I quickly turned to Yelp and wrote down the 10 highest rated painters in the SCV, and called them to get quotes. When I called Tim, he answered pleasantly, answered all of my questions, and agreed to meet us at our new house the day of our home inspection to take a look and provide use with a reliable estimate. He was prompt and on time. My Husband and I appreciated his attitude and his comments regarding paint style and pricing. He told us he would get back to us with a final estimate. Once we received the final estimate, we decided to move forward with Tim. Tim immediately got to work. He met us at Sherwin Williams so we could pick paint samples with the benefit of his expertise and advice. He was patient, gave great insight, and made us excited about our choices. He agreed to start putting the samples up on the wall over the next few days, and encouraged my husband and I to check the paint at different times throughout the day so we could see it in different lighting conditions. Because we had not moved in yet, Tim worked some nights until 11-12pm, just to be sure the job got done in the time frame we needed. Tim had a team who assisted with painting baseboards and rolling walls. They were always polite and kind. Tim did a large majority of the work in a very short time, and his team made the process even faster. Even with other ongoing jobs he was responsible, Tim was at our house working hard to make sure it was done, and done right. Tim was so particular and paid such close attention to detail. Any time he had a question about our preference, or if something needed to be brought to our attention, he didn't hesitate to call or text us right away. Every single part of the job was done meticulously, carefully, and beautifully! Each day we went to visit he would walk us through and show us the progress he had made. We were so impressed! Tim not only did our interior paint, but also helped install lights and other things around the house. He was so knowledgeable and helpful about renovations. In fact, when our installer for new floorboards fell through, Tim was on the phone immediately calling someone he knew and recommended. They were so professional and reasonably priced. If it weren't for Tim's reference, we would have been behind on our time line and it would have postponed our move-in date. Before the end of the job, we did multiple walk throughs to check for things that may need to be fixed. There were a few nicks in the paint from where the movers bumped the walls, and he came back right away to fix them. He kept saying "I want to make sure you're 110% happy."
