I no longer go to Therapie Clinic because of the way they handled my very first laser appointment. I paid in full for a laser session and attended my appointment on time. Before the treatment started, I informed the consultant that I had returned from holiday the previous week. She advised that, for safety reasons, it would be better to wait another two weeks before having the treatment. I appreciated the advice and agreed to postpone the session. The consultant and reception staff told me that rescheduling would be straightforward and advised me to contact the Hello customer service team. However, when I did, I was told that I could not reschedule my appointment and would have to pay for another session. This policy had never been communicated to me in my booking confirmation, reminder emails, or over the phone. To make matters worse, my appointment was marked as a "no-show/cancelled", even though I attended on time and was assessed by the consultant. When I called customer service to explain what had happened, the representative was rude and eventually hung up on me. In the end, Therapie Clinic took my payment, did not provide the treatment, refused to reschedule my appointment, and refused to issue a refund. I was left paying for a service I never received, despite following the advice given by their own consultant. The entire experience was handled with a very low standard of customer service and professionalism. The lack of communication, inconsistent information, and unwillingness to resolve the issue fairly have completely undermined my trust in Therapie Clinic. Therapie like to cheat customers with hidden terms and conditions. I paid upfront for 10 sessions. I got 5 done in span of 8 months. Consultants there will advise you to wait in between sessions (at least 4 to 6 weeks) specially if you exposed to sun or traveled etc. You do that and soon they tell you, sorry all sessions expired. They were only valid for X months. Only letting the customer know after expiry. Not stated at time of purchase, during treatment, or when they take money for all 10 sessions upfront. Mind you they send no reminder calls/emails either for expiration. That is how brands like this make money taking advantage of 'hidden terms and conditions'. read more

I've been receiving laser hair removal treatments at Therapies Clinic for three years with no issues until now. I originally purchased a set of treatments and then bought an additional package of 10 for €900. Due to extenuating circumstances, I couldn't use them from January to April, but I was assured that they wouldn't expire. After getting a treatment in May, I couldn't book any more during the summer due to a natural tan. However, when I tried to schedule an appointment in August, I found that my remaining treatments had vanished from the app. I checked my emails for any notifications but found nothing. When I contacted customer service, I was informed that the treatments had expired. I still had 5 treatments left, worth €450, and received no warning about their expiration. Customer service offered no help or compensation for this oversight. I'm incredibly frustrated with the lack of communication and support from Therapies Clinic. paid for a course of micro needling in branch in april booked an appointment for june at the same time. The appointment was never processed nor was the micro needling course. I raised this issue after the June appointment was screwed up and still haven't been given a resolution despite therapie having nearly 200 euros up front for my micro needling course. I used Therapie clinic in Dundrum shopping centre recently for the cool sculpting treatment. Despite being a little apprehensive I was quickly put at ease by Belinda who is just brilliant at her job. She reassured me and answered any of the questions I had. I went back for my review mid cycle and I was shocked to see the before and after results- it really does work! I got laser hair removal and coolsculpting in the Dundrum branch. Staff constantly changing but never failing to ask me for more money and recommend new procedures. The pricing is incredibly misleading. I felt pressured into spending more money by laser technicians, and the routine of the appointments changed each time. Some marked the area, some didn't, I filled out their survey before every session and they asked me the same questions every time. I was asked repeatedly what medications I take and what they were for, after the consultation this is not something I want to discuss. The staff were different every time I went, and even if I requested a specific person I got someone different. During the coolsculpting consultation I was again pressured into making an expensive decision on the spot. I was verbally told to stop eating carbs, gluten and dairy and when I asked for clarification on this, she said to start calorie counting using my fitness pal, this was not anywhere in the literature that they gave me afterwards. During the follow up the same woman poked at my fat and told me that I would need more €550 sessions. She said that I had been told this in my consultation but I was not. It was a degrading experience, their staff need better training. Therapie do dermalogica facials, which I like a lot so when I can afford it- the cheapest one is 85 Euro- this is where I go. The staff are friendly and efficient, they take skin care very seriously here so I feel like I'm in good hands. You can also get the lotions and potions in the shop here and they even do little gift sets for your girly friends. I had booked a consultation rather than an appointment because it had been 18 months since I had last had Botox so I wanted to run thru a few things. When I came into see the doctor he flew thru the appointment, not pencilling out where he would inject or as what would normally happen, getting me to scrunch my face or take pictures. He rushed through the appointment and I was out within minutes of going in. This in itself wasn't too much of an issue at the time but when I got home I immediately noticed some very big bruising starting from my right eye down my cheek. The next morning this progressed and got significantly worse. While I am aware I signed a disclaimer and I was also given an aftercare sheet, all state that you can have some MINOR bruising. What I have had was significant bruising, a black eye and bruising running down my cheek. I have since had a very time consuming and extremely frustrating experience with your customer service teams and also Dr Barinder who I would like to point out was a very rude man. I have made numerous calls and spoken to many of your colleagues to which I was assured this was going to be addressed. Alison requested that I go back to the clinic and meet with Dr Barinder so he could assess the bruising, she assured me that all my information had been passed over to the doctor so that he could review. I agreed to go down on my lunch but when I arrived I was left waiting for a half hour before being seen and then when I was seen Dr Barinder was very dismissive and rude. He told me that he knew "Jack squat" about the issue and nobody had told him anything about it. He stated that this can happen if you have any viens close to the injection area and that he could see one there so that's why it must have happened, If he had not been rushing initially and had done a proper review this would and should have been seen. Yes there is a risk of minor bruising with a needle but anyone who is doing this day to day should be aware of how to minimise this and what I was left with is not minor. Dr Barinder asked me what I wanted from the situation and I said I would like a refund, Dr Barinder said it was not his decision but that "fine, I'll support it if the girls outside decide to give you a refund" He told me I needed to talk to them about it. I then spoke to Sofie and she assured me that Dr Barinder had indeed seen the photos and was aware of the situation and that she didn't know why he had said he wasn't. She told me it was not up to her to make a decision on a refund but that she would escalate it for me. I have since spoken to Edel and she has made me aware that Dr Barinder is now stating that he will not authorise a refund even though he had previously told me he would support it. After sending in a formal complaint over 2 weeks ago I have not received a response and am now being ignored. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! read more

I got a course of laser treatments here, and although the treatment is good, the staff are not that friendly. I get top up treatments occasionally and they usually just rush through the procedure that sometimes I feel like they aren't doing it properly and just taking money. In general, everything at this salon is really pricey, with all facials costing 100 euro or more, even for Dermalogica facials which can be gotten cheaper elsewhere and are not so rushed through. I've been to Therapie 3 times this year - 2x for a haircut, 1x for a Jet Peel. All 3 have been great experiences. I must say that the only reason I went here was because of their fantastic specials they were running on haircuts - to the tune of 70% off! A €120 cut for €36 - very student-budget friendly. In April they had an Event Night, with discounts on all bookings made that night, so I decided to buy a voucher for a Jet Peel as well. 1st Haircut at Therapie: In May I decided I needed something different and actually grew the courage to go much much shorter. Paul Reilly did a smashing job and I received many compliments from friends. I'd recommend him to you, but I hear he has now left Therapie :( 2nd Haircut at Therapie: Went back this week just for a trim - while I loved the shorter 'do, I decided to grow it out again, but wanted someone to do it right and keep in the appropriate amount of layers that Paul so fantastically added, possibly add a few more. Daniel worked magic on my hair! Kept the length and added layers. He seemed to really take pride in his work, making sure I was happy with what he was doing. Again, many compliments from friends. Jet Peel I had never had this procedure done, but did my internet research so I knew what to expect. It's quick, relaxing and completely painless. My face felt so soft and plump afterward. Part of me thought it was too simple and non-invasive of a procedure to do any good, but the skin certainly feels nice. I'd defnitely recommend Therapie. Added perk: they send you text messages the day before your appt for a reminder...and once they have your mobile, they also send you text messages of specials they are running! I get about 1 text per week, many of them offering 60-70% off cuts, 50% off color. If you get your hair cut there, try to book in with Daniel - he's great! read more

Advertising cool sculpting or fat freeze at €550 and describing it as a 'surgery free tummy tuck' is false advertising. They show you a plastic oval shaped card, it costs €550 for this size. I'd need the bigger size x4 and she recommended some work on waist, the price would be €5600??? and that's a special offer!!!. I'm a size 12 with only a small bit of fat, so I can only imagine what they are quoting bigger people. My experience of Therapie actually has nothing to do with any sort of beauty treatment but thought I would post this anyway as I feel it is a reflection of some of the negative comments people have made about some of their staff. I was cycling home from college yesterday evening and just as I was passing Therapie on Molesworth St, a car pulled out of a side lane or car park (not sure which) on my left and drove right in front of me, even though it was clear I was cycling straight up the street. I had to break very suddenly which caused me to go flying off the handlebars, head first, onto the road, landing on the ground right in front of the car. It turns out the woman driving the car was a staff member of Therapie (I could tell because she was wearing her uniform) and she got out of the car and immediately asked if I was ok and if she hit me. I said no but she sent me flying off my bike and just about missed me. She made a brief apology and proceeded to get back into her car, without offering a hand with my books, folders,bike, etc that had gone flying all over the road. Luckily, 2 passers by offered a hand and I then asked the driver if she would not at least help me pick up my things and she marched over and stuffed two books into my hands as I was trying to pick up my bike. I questioned her over what she was thinking driving out in front of me like that and she just kept repeating "Well I didn't hit you, did I?" as if she had done nothing wrong. She then stormed into the Therapie clinic, crying about "how no one cares how she feels over all of this", leaving me to get the rest of my belongings together myself. All this happened with other staff inside the clinic looking on, not even coming out to check if everything was OK (luckily there were no injuries). I know this has nothing to do with the actual service they provide but I feel that they are representing a brand whenever they are in work or even in their uniform and I thought every single member of staff who was there that evening acted disgracefully and I certainly would not be comfortable with them providing any of my beauty treatments. read more

Hi, I was in therapy a few weeks ago and had laser done. The girls at the reception area are very welcoming but from then on had an unpleasant experience. I was surprise to see the room dirty, with all cables showing, bad finishes on the furniture, skirting boards, the painting.. it's suppose to be a high standard beauty clinic and from what I saw it's far from it. The girl who did the laser was doing it on a rush, I got burned with one of the laser shots and rushed out the door. I felt very uncomfortable and angry for not having been treated decently. I've been getting various hirsute parts of my body 'lase -erred' (insert Dr Evil quotations marks here) for the last three summers and I must say, the smell of burning hair aside, I really like this place. The staff are very professional and helpful and now that their prices have come down quite a bit, they offer good value too. The staff are excellent at talking you through the process, the aftercare, and the medium-long term care, and they just fly through the hair removal process, thank the good God. I keep going back, not because I'm getting hairier (eek!) but because I now know I don't have to live with the curse of dark hair on pale skin. I had laser hair removal in Therapie Molesworth St. I had an initial consultation where I was told I was "perfect" for the treatment, eg dark hair. I had 6 sessions and while I saw a dmall improvement the hair still kept growing back. I was slways given excuses at each treatment as to why this might be such as exfoliation etc even though I had spent €40 on exfoliation cream in their shop!! At my final session I explained I wasnt happy only to be told my hair volour was too light!!!! Pity they didn't say that at the initial consultation when i was handing over €995!! They then had the cheek to offer me 3 more sessions which would cost me another €250!! This place is a money making racket and I have no faith in them at all. Also avoid their "exclusive invitations" to yheir VIP nights with 20% off products and goodie bags worth €300. Anoyher money making racket! Unlike other reviewers on this page, I was pretty satisfied with staff's approach(very friendly, very polite and all in all, I had a very pleasant experience undergoing one of their laser treatments) The problem is that the treatment is a lie, at least in my case. After 6 sessions and almost €1000 spent there, the results were awful and that's after I was told several times that I'm the perfect candidate, that the reaction to treatment is great an so on...I have to admit that I should have asked myself how efficient they are once the asked me to sign off and agreement where I acknowledged that the treatment doesn't guaranty a success rate above 80%. However, as I mentioned before, after 6 sessions, I'm more or less the same I was before I started. read more

I did laser therapy of 6 treatments at Therapie clinic and I am extremely dissatisfied since there is no result. Moreover, I have even more hair because of shaving. My friend who has very different skin and hair type than I do did the same and she also had no result. It seems that machines that they are using are obsolete and have no effect on the hair. The staff at Therapie is focused only on turnaround, customer service is non-existent. Every time I was treated by another staff member, they were late for at least 20 minutes and rooms where the treatment was taking place were cold, uncomfortable and bed was set next to the wall so that staff had difficulties treating the skin. For one of my treatments they completely forgot that I have an appointment. When calling in they did not apologize and made no effort to find another spot that would fit me, but simply proposed what they had available. My friends who did the same laser treatment in clinics that advertise via Groupon are very satisfied with the results even after first two treatments. After 6 treatments at Therapie my hair grew even more due to shaving that has to be done before treatments. I went for reassessment and their staff was convincing me that I need 2-3 top ups to see results. However, they could not explain why would I have results after additional treatment with machines that made no change to my or my friend's hair in the last 6 treatments. Extremely poor service, expensive prices and no results is what you can expect with Therapie clinic. Look for another clinic if you want to be satisfied with the results of your laser treatment. read more
