I do not think his passing could have been any more peaceful. Dr Bailey has truly the most kind and gentle bedside manner. We are truly grateful for the care we have received.

Fees continue to escalate while care is increasingly turfed to more and more "specialists", further making pet care just about unaffordable. Several of the staff talk behind clients' backs, and Dr. Gilstrap doesn't hesitate to verbally berate clients if she feels they're asking too many questions or she doesn't like their honest feedback. When Dr. Meyer owned this practice, she was very supportive of clients using nutraceuticals, along with many alternative therapies and modalities for care. That is no longer the case under current ownership. Nothing outside of the strict boundaries in standard of care is open to or welcome for discussion at Hillcrest AH. You may even receive an angry phone call from Dr. Gilstrap if she finds out you've said anything regarding such limitations. Over the course of our 10+ yrs taking our pets to Hillcrest AH, we were also disappointed on multiple occasions with their lack of knowledge regarding eye issues, in both cats and dogs. They also missed a few other things over the years, which I had originally been willing to forgive, until there became a series of other issues that eventually forced me to leave this once-great practice. I missed Dr. Bailey tremendously, but am happy to report that Dr. Bailey can now be found at Lyman AH.

They actually had it in a plastic baggie for me to keep if I wanted it ‍ Anyways I politely declined. Although it did look cool af. When I brought Mocha into the vets office yesterday I thought I was just bringing him in to check out his ear then would have to take him back in for the procedure. The doctor surprised me when he asked me when Mocha had eaten that day. I asked why and he said "well cause if you leave him here we will just take it out today and you can pick him up at 4". After picking up my jaw off the floor (mainly due to my baby boy going under anesthesia unexpectedly) I left. The vet was so fantastic! Mocha was quiet on the ride home and a little drunken sailor for the evening, but he wasn't in pain or uncomfortable anymore. He's completely back to his normal psycho self. Definitely recommend Pleasantburg Vet to anyone in the area needing a vet. They have been our vet for over a year now and I'm very pleased with them.

I felt that my pet was taken care of and I left with a good understanding of the underlying illness and required care. The place was smaller than expected, which wasn't an issue at check in but was very crowded when leaving (multiple large dogs in the small lobby, a desk/workspace in the patient waiting area instead of behind the counter, just overall crowded). Mylo is a year old and has been groomed several times. Pet Smart in Easley, two times at Pet Smart in Greenville on Woodruff Road and Camp Bow Wow on Haywood Road in Greenville. Most times at the other places he didn't look clean, not compared to the way he was groomed at PetSuites. He looked like he had been bleached, his coat is shiny and as white as snow. I was very impressed with the awesome job they did with Mylo. They cleaned his paws, they gave him the "ROYAL TREATMENT"! I highly recommend that you take your pet to be groomed at this establishment, they are the bomb!!

I have gone to several pet supplies plus in the Greenville area, including this one, between eight and 8:30pm and have always been warmly greeted and have had several of the employees actually interact with Riley while I was giving my girl a bath. Tonight I was told that it was company policy that they do not allow bathing to commence after 8 PM, within one hour of closing. My supervisor looked this up on their website and there's no mention of a cutoff for Self bathing your dog on the website. We very literally buy every single thing for our dogs from there, less a few special order training products and supplements. This is for a total of 53 dogs. I can't speak for the rest of my coworkers, but I will no longer be going back. Im certain if I don't do back, they won't go back. That was pure laziness on the employees part and showed a complete disregard for customer service. The manager never even came out to speak to me. I was dismissed so I left. All of this being said, pet supplies plus is a great store that stocks quality products and does care immensely about animals. When my dog was injured a year and a half a go, they donated a huge basket of stuff which was above and beyond. This is not a pet supplies plus issue. This is a People issue. I'm not writing this review to scold anyone or get anyone in trouble, but I do hope that it makes a difference for the next person that comes in under these circumstances.
