Wanted to love dog culture and have a place to take my girls so they could play and socialize. They go to unleashed dog bar all the time and love it, never have any problems with playtime there. I dropped them off for a behavioral assessment the first time and my pit mix failed, as she has an aggressive play style. We have been working for months to teach her to play better with all dogs and have socialized her a lot more since then. I brought both of them back for another assessment, explained to them they need a little time to acclimate to the new area and new dogs. Within NINE MINUTES, they called me to come pick her up and said she failed again. There was absolutely no effort on their part to try to give her a chance and acclimate and no knowledge of how dogs interact. If they had given her at least 30 minutes even, I would have been ok with the outcome but 9 minutes isn't enough to tell anything about a dog or their behavior in a new environment. It seemed as though they had a problem with her being a pitbull and saw her as a threat. I also watched the live cam at their Greenville location and they are completely overcrowded with way too many dogs in each bay. Will not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Dog Culture is a wonderful daycare/boutique/groomer run by dog people for dog people. Megan and team have created such a fun atmosphere for our pups and I have absolute trust in their care. One of our dogs has stress-induced seizures and doesn't attend daycare regularly, but did a meet-n-greet just to check it out. Megan and team were so good at paying attention to how she did and were vigilant about watching for stress behaviors so they could let me know if she wasn't doing well. This team knows their stuff and dog behaviors, and treats each dog like their own. We love the "open-boarding" for overnight stays since our dogs aren't used to be crated. They get to cuddle and lounge around like they do at home with an overnight attendant. Lately due to COVID, we haven't needed daycare so we've mostly used DC for grooming, and Laura always does a fantastic job. The appointments are staggered so that the dogs aren't waiting in a crate a super long time to be groomed. They come out with the cutest bandanas and look and smell wonderful! The boutique is ADORABLE. They change out the merch pretty regularly so there are always new toys and supplies to check out. It's just the cutest. My only critique would be the size of the yards - they are working with the real estate they've got, but our golden loves to run, so a larger play yard would be nice. But the splash pool and rocks are fun for him to play on. Overall it's a great place where your pup will be taken care of so well! read more

Let me start by saying I had a perfect experience at Dog Culture today!! We had a morning appointment for our mini Aussie to be groomed. Our dog is super attached and does not like to be left alone. The staff here was so sweet and attentive from the moment we walked in. They asked about special requests with grooming and any special needs. The grooming only took about 1.5 hours. When we came to pick her up she looked so happy. They did a great job with the grooming!! I was so impressed by her perfect paws. To top off the already amazing experience, this evening we received an email with our pup's "report card" that included a picture with Santa! We take our Boykin spaniel here for grooming. Genna does an awesome job! A lot of groomers aren't familiar with the breed, and aren't really sure what to do for the cut. Genna knew exactly what to do, and our little guy always looks and feels amazing after his groom. He always seems so calm with Genna, as she is very patient with him. My dog absolutely LOVES coming here! The staff at dog culture are seriously top notch too. The first day Rhys was super nervous and didn't want me to leave him, but they let me come to the back and help him get adjusted and it's been smooth sailing since. Their hours are amazing especially if you're in the medical field, they have free cameras that you can watch all sections of the play areas, and they even have a pool and a play hose that my little man never wanted to get out of all summer! And to top it off, Rhys was having tummy troubles one day and they called me right away and took care of him while I was at work. The brought him up to the front office and let him relax with them while he recuperated. I seriously can't thank them enough for all they've done for my sweet little man. I've been taking my dog here since they opened. You can tell how well they treat your dog by your dogs behavior when you drop them off. My dog who takes quite a while to warm up to strangers recognizes every employee here and so happy to see them. If I mention dog culture at home she gets so excited because she thinks she is going. Every other daycare she has gone to she goes and hides in her den because she wants to stay home. Not the case with dog culture. I feel so comfortable boarding her there and love the open boarding concept. I know first hand how hard it is to maintain a staff at the moment and am always impressed by the pleasant and professional interactions I've had with each staff member. As a business owner, it's clear how much the owners love dogs and put into building a fabulous business. I also love how easy to use the online booking system is. Honestly I wouldn't enjoy living in dt gvl as much if this wasn't available to me. read more

Poor poor service this last time we took our dog here. Very unhappy about our dog's cut and we voiced our concerns to the manager. After going back and forth with the manager and owner - they came back with a $20 dollar refund after spending $135. They wanted to us to bring our dog back to fix what they should have done right in the first place. We live 45 mins away. We all know how traumatic grooming can be for our pets. I will not be taking our dog back here. Really disappointed with their customer service. Very unfortunate as we get many compliments on how beautiful our dog and always credited Dog Culture but not anymore! read more

My wife and I really wanted to like this place. The storefront feels great, the reviews all look decent, and the girls at the desk were really nice. So we signed up our standard poodle for 10 half-days. We were able to watch on live webcam, so we did, almost every day he was there. By the last couple days, we were dreading taking him, but really had to bite the bullet and do so because we had already paid and had a newborn at home and were desperate for a break. First, all the dogs are crowded into these concrete indoor slabs. They look like they take way too many dogs for the space they have. They probably justify it by saying how much outdoor space is available, but the dogs never go outside because there's little shade and no water features. So the dogs just crowd inside this walled space with one girl who doesn't pay attention to them and stares at her phone all day. I assume some of that time is used taking pics of the dogs to share with the owners. But at least 3 out of the 10 times, the pictures we were sent weren't even of our dog. One time our dog came home and immediately started chugging water, as if he hadn't had access to water all day. He also seemed full of energy, as if he hadn't done anything but lay on a concrete slab all day (which he had). We couldn't wait to try another place for daycare. The branding really sells this place, but they are not good. Try them yourself and watch the live webcams. We also had them do two grooming sessions, and it looked like Edward Scissorhands' drunk cousin had gotten hold of the garden shears. I hope they change. But if not, I hope people share their negative reviews so more people don't get hoodwinked. The mutts deserve better. read more

So lucky to have this facility in the upstate. Megan and Steve provide excellent daycare options for the furry loved ones. The facility is fantastic allowing for indoor and outdoor play options. The spaces are paw friendly, clean, well kept and allow separation of dogs with different temperaments. Every staff member is friendly and knowledgeable. We always get a "report card" summarizing our dog's day. Cams are available to check in as well. The prices can't be beat. Take advantage of their package deals. They do not care about satisfying or accommodating the customers needs or care for the animal(s). They are phony. They make your first experience there like they are the most amazing place with the most amazing people and then after that they are careless. Don't waste your time or money going to this place. Take your animal(s) to a place you know for sure they will appreciate you and your pet and not rip you off. They do whatever they want and change the rules everyday to only satisfy themselves. I moved to Greenville 3 months ago with a dog who had never been left alone in a room for an extended amount of time (I fully blame COVID for this) and Dog Culture was an answer to our prayers. They were amazing from the beginning (a free behavior analysis) to the end (Loretta did a 4 night sleepover). They are such an amazing community of dog lovers. Everyone who works there is so gentle. They do have cameras (which I watched for fun) and I loved what I saw. Not only my dog, but all the dogs got soooo much love. I'm not easily pleased (guilty ) but they are amazing. This doggy daycare facility is positively PAW-fect! My fiancé and I have taken to our dogs to all the doggy daycares in Greenville and this one is by far the best! They know our dogs name and our dogs scratch at the door in the morning because they wish they could go everyday! From being outside, to puzzle time...our dogs love every moment about this place. What I love most is they ensure they use the restroom outside in the play yard which helps instill good behavior and something the other places in Greenville don't do. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Dog Culture. First off, the space is gorgeous. Would have happily stayed there myself all day if I didn't have to be in the office. The staff made me feel at home while my pup was taken back for her interview. Sounds silly but I was so thankful they go to such lengths to vet each dog as well as ensure they cater the day care experience to your pup. I was able to gain insight into my precious pup's experience by using their live webcam feature. They also provided me with a report card and pictures of my sweeet girl and the many new friends she made at doggy day care. 10/10 recommend taking your pup here. First visit with my two dogs this week. My Yorkie got over heated an hour after my drop off and got very sick and Dog Culture staff took him to Vet Hospital. (I was in middle of medical testing) Dog Culture staff did all the right things as it was serious with my Yorkie. What a wonderful staff. Professional and informed.
