I have nothing but great things to say about Paw Paws! We had been on a mission to find a cute purple collar but had not found anything both my husband and I agreed on. We were driving back to Dallas from Myrtle Beach and had decided to drive through Greenville. We just happened to find Paw Paws and instantly knew this was gonna be just what we were looking for. Our pup is still wearing her collar a year later and it looks great! The leash too. We are thinking of ordering another collar soon just to have a second option. Bad experience, rude owner, poor quality. paid $45 for a collar with dogs name. workmanship quality was poor, edge of fabric uneven and puckering. my dog work it for 10 days. I went to the store and owner just made excuses for the het go and pulled out scissors and started snipping the threads that appeared. Owner stated dog scratched the fabric, but really after 10 days! collar looks bad. she agree to make another but when I said can you remove the store logo (I did not know that was going to be embroidered on it and it detracts from his name) the owner said that was insulting and like asking to remove Tommy Hillfinger from his products. I didn't pay $45 for advertising the bad quality collar and I will not give my business to this store. read more

A beautiful and small store. They have amazing Ruff Pluff toys for your dogs that are hard for them to get through. My golden retriever loves them. I also got him a new collar and a short leash for my new puppy for when we go on walks. Great customer service. Great environment and I'll definitely be back again. In search of a treat for my fur babies while traveling in Greenville, I happened upon Paw Paws. While the storefront is smallish, don't be put off by its diminutive appearance. A variety of collars, leashes, and tasteful accessories line the walls, and a small but well-stocked bakery case displays beautifully decorated cookies, cakes, and treats for small, fuzzy children. I purchased two reasonably priced fish cookies, which I assume were very tasty as they were handily consumed upon my return home. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this shop! I love supporting local. We were on the hunt for a new collar for the pup and found exactly what we were looking for. The color/style we wanted wasn't currently made, but they offered to make it and ship it to us for a flat rate of $3 which I felt incredibly reasonable. The collars are made upstairs above the shop, able to be put in the washer, are rust proof and are super sturdy. We paid for the collar after placing the order and received an immediate text update to say they had put the order in place. Within a week we had the collar and it is beautiful! I'm super excited for Santa to give it to her on Christmas. I would highly recommend this shop for your pet needs. (They also have a Yelp check-in offer!) read more

About 7 years ago, I emailed PawPaws about a collar that my puppy broke. The clip snapped. I emailed customer service and they kindly sent me a replacement. 7 years later, another dog of mine broke a collar. The clip broke in the same manner. I dont know if PawPaws is using cheap parts, or if both were defective. Regardless, in both situations my dogs could have gotten loose. I really wish this company would do the responsible thing and look into why this happened twice. I also can't be the only person who has experienced their collar clips breaking. The customer service rep (Anne) emailed me after a few days this time with a comment that she was not sure how to respond. Please fix your collars. Attached are pictures. read more

Can I tell you about this wonderful shop, with its wonderful manager, Anne? I was visiting Greenville with friends and were in desperate need of a dog collar and leash (stranger things have happened in Greenville, SC). Paw Paws was the nearest pet store (found on Yelp, of course), but my trusty Yelp app told me the store closed at 5PM ...and it was 4:55PM. I gave Paw Paws a "hail mary" call, asking what time they closed and Anne (who answered the phone), offered to stay open for another 10 minutes so we could run over there to pick up what we needed! When we arrived, just a few minutes after 5PM, we were greeted with a BIG smile and Anne provided great service -- and we were able to pick out an adorable leash and collar set (which is really their specialty). Paw Paws also has custom made (pick your fabric) beds and chew toys, as well as other doggie goodies. Definitely worth a stop in if you're looking for a treat for your canine best friend. read more

Look how cute my guy looks in his bow tie! I stopped in here with my Mom and fell in love with their made in house items. The girl working there was a great help and very friendly. We ended up getting a bow tie and although we didn't have time to have one made since we left the next day, we will be ordering on their website since there's nothing like this around us in Florida. The cutest leashes, harnesses and collars ever and best of all they are locally made in Greenville SC! They are made to order although there are always some "ready to wear" options to purchase. The quality is amazing and the pride in the work product is clear. You can choose any ribbon combination that you'd like, and the options are practically endless!! Lots of options for Clemson and Carolina fans like bow ties, collar flowers, and bandannas- but if you are a fan of another team you can have those made too! Many cute seasonal options. There's always a bowl of water and free treats for the furry friends- and in the summer there's a cute swimming pool for the pups to cool off in! There are great treats to buy like birthday cakes and doggie froyo, bully and other chew sticks, cute cookies, etc. They also make cute birthday hats for the birthday boy or girl. The owner cursed at me in the parking lot. I will never go there again. I was coming there to park and there was a sign for parking and she came out yelling and I told her I'm about to move & she said "I've tried to be fucking nice to you". When I told her I was leaving the sign was confusing. In response she did say "I've tried to be fucking nice to you" for no reason when I said I was leaving so that's a lie. This review has nothing to do with the contents of the store.. just a managing member who runs their parking lot. I parked in one of their spots (after hours) to take my boyfriend to Marble Slab which is right next door. There were no lights on in Paw Paws but in the 10 min I was in Marble Slab, someone put a tow tag on my vehicle. They must have been watching & waiting to do it. An empty parking lot.. and the sign said "Parking for Paw Paws, Mon-Friday 10-7" it was most def after 7 & actually almost 8pm when I parked. $20 fine.. I drove home & cut it off with bolt cutters. Guess you didn't know that bolt carrying rednecks live in the city too read more

Their collar designs are cute, chic and ever changing. Paw Paws keeps up with the current trends in design (remember how fast the Chevron design spread in modern decorating? well now it's here in collar form!) They even sell adorable seasonal collars, such as Valentines hearts. My favorite pattern though is easily the "Yorkshire Dog Collar-Dad's Tie" because I dress my boy dogs up in pink and this collar is classy! I haven't tried the leashes. Love this place! I discovered it my first week in Greenville back in June and have been going there ever since. Anne and everyone at the store are super friendly and my dog loves all the free treats. I have a female Westie (the Caesar dog) but strangers would assume she's a male dog. I had an effeminate pink leash from PetCo to clear the air...that is until I came across Paw Paws. With the wide selection of designs, I was able to find a matching collar and leash that lets everyone know my dog is a female without looking overly feminine for me to be holding the other end.
