Just two shrimp pad thai for 34 $. No drinks or anything else. Very steep for a food court - that is 14.70 per plate *before taxes* for just that one menu item. You can go to a sit--down restaurant for that. There is no price breakdown and no indication of taxes on this receipt. They could just say anything. Caveat empteor. Unless you really don't care, I recommend confirming the final price, with taxes (which are 13 % at the absolute maximum - use your calculator and see), before consenting to buy, because the listed price doesn't always tell you everything. I have noticed that a lot of places play fast and loose and will charge more than 13 %, claiming "it's the tax" when no, it isn't - it's more than the tax. Then, of course, if you say anything, you look like the asshole for "being a cheapskate". This is what these places count on so they can keep skimming and skimming. If you don't say anything, then you are "the fool" for "letting them do it". Well, I would rather let people know to check prices and receipts. I ordered the Red Curry Chicken with rice a couple of weeks ago and been going there once a week since because it's so good. The sauce is so tasty and the rice is so fluffy like it was just made. Some of the best Thai food since my time in Thailand. I visited them about 10 minutes before closing and the food was really quickly prepared and yummy. I was debating not eating there but the young lady behind the counter smiled at me. :) I think she noticed me ambling about directionless unsure of a good choice. This place is well-known for their fresh salad rolls that come with the peanut sauce! (That stuff is addicting.) They have combos from their hot plate for a good price: a spring roll, a couple of wontons, pad thai and an additional dish- throw some peanuts and hot sauce on top and we're in business! Hit it during a visit to the market. The combo off the steam table is a good value and comes with Wonton and a spring roll. You can also order from the wok which a little more expensive but comes with a larger portion. We ordered both options; pad thai from the wok and cashew chicken from the hot table. The food was tasty and a good value. They are very friendly with the fish sauce though, so if you're not a fan you may get a little turned off. Every time I go to the market I discover a new gem and this place was no different. The problem is it's getting harder to decide what to have when I go. I ordered the combo meal with red curry. It was good without being great. Considering its to go in a food court setting and not a full restaurant, I'm happy with it. A little pricy to some other options at $ for the combo. You may order a'la carte and it's cheaper. Horrible pad thai, I have no idea how anyone could refer to what they serve as being Thai food, Pad Thai, OR even edible for that matter... I had high hopes after seeing some reviews, turns out what they serve is just a styro foam container of disappointment!! I m not sure how pad thai could just be soy sauce soaked noodles with some bean sprouts??? No cilantro, no peanuts, no spice or sweet, no veggies, no egg or tofu! The worst "Soy Sauce" Pad-Thai I had ever had in my life!!! I don't usually order Pad-thai, but on May 10, I decided to order it because the cook just brought out the fresh prepared Pad-Thai, I thought it shouldn't go wrong with my choice. When I was given the food, immediately I was disappointed, all I got is noodles in the dark soy sauce color, and some bean sprouts on top. There's no cilantro, no crushed peanuts, no lime slice, no protein, NOTHING! just plain boring noodles. The worst part is it taste just like what it looks like....soy sauce. I thought Pad-Thai is made with tamarind paste, I didn't tasted that either. My question is, if you can't even do Pad-Thai, why are you calling yourself "Authentic Thai"? read more

A nice place to quickly grab lunch if you're downtown at the market. Their combos are fairly good deals (a meat dish, rice, pad thai noodles, spring roll, and 2 crispy wontons). Their tom yum/tom kha soups are nice as are their fresh rolls. I sometimes find it awkward to be eating steamy Thai curries or stir fries out of a styrofoam container and plastic fork, especially when the market is super-crowded (which it often is during lunch hours). I tried this mainly because I was craving Thai food and for the good reviews. Well, it is pretty much is a notch down from like typical Chinese mall food, not even close to Thai. I ordered the Cashew chicken combo and it had no cashews on it, just walnuts and one peanut! Came with like four small pieces of chicken. The Pad Thai is not even remotely close to actual Pad Thai...it is literally just a bunch of noodles sauteed in soy sauce! No peanuts, lime, sprouts, absolutely nothing but noodles in soy sauce. The won tons literally has nothing in them, just a star shaped piece of fried dough. I didn't have high expectations, especially considering the price, but I did expect food with some kind of attempt at resembling Thai food...there was no resemblance whatsoever! Food at the mall generally is more impressive, this wasn't even average, I would say a step below average.
