Always good food. Folks are nice albeit the restaurant is very busy! They are our go-to Thai food.

The food here was prepared quickly and was made of fresh ingredients. Service was pretty good and water glasses never empty. That being said, a Thai restaurant that offers teriyaki and tempura is not truly a Thai restaurant in my book. My friend's husband ordered the shrimp tempura appetizer and it looked like regular breaded butterfly shrimp. The good thing was there were about 8-10 shrimp on the plate. My dish, the spicy green beans and shrimp was tasty, but contained only 5 small shrimp total. Luckily I was more in the mood for the green beans. My friend ordered the cashew nut shrimp and was pleased. All in all a decent experience, however when it came time to pay the bill it took forever for the owner/server to come by with the check. My girlfriend and I had dinner @ this old restaurant last night in not-so-quaint small town SILVERTON, OR, the waitresses were very friendly and helpful, I ordered the simple pad Thai noodles with a side of white rice, she had a bbq chicken, with also a an appetizer of simple Asian salad consisting of cabbage leaves, more shredded cabbage, sliced tomatoes and carrots, we also had their fried corn bloom, a heart-shaped carrot cake, I had tea, she had a Pepsi, but was it worth $80!? read more

We have been to Thai Dish many times over the years and have yet to be disappointed. Service is always quick and attentive, and the ingredients always fresh. Some of my favorite dishes include the Spicy Basil Noodle and Thai Kung Pao, and the lunch portions are a decent size considering the reasonable price tag. This remains a Canby favorite for us. read more

While this is in my opinion the second best Thai place in Canby (and yes, there are two good Thai places in Canby), it has very good service and good food. I feel like the prices are a little more than I'd like to pay but I often feel that way so it's not you, it's me. (I think the heat options are mild / medium / spicy / hot / extra hot) I had the Larb and I ordered it spicy, the panang chicken curry - spicy and Tom Kah Chicken soup, medium. I wish I had ordered the Larb medium and the soup spicy - but this isn't the first time I have had Larb and wished I had ordered it not as spicy. There is something about the dry spices in this dish that react with me in a very different way than the spice / heat in dishes with coconut milk. The soup would have been way better ordering it spicy and I might even risk hot next time. The panang curry was good at "spicy" - I would have been ok with a little more heat but didn't feel I was missing out on anything where it was. I think the setting of this place is nicer than the other option, the prices and the food are where the other place has a slight edge over here. I have no problem coming here if my first choice is closed. read more

Thai Dish isn't the best Thai food I've had but is pretty good for being all the way out in Canby and is the best Thai option in the Oregon City area. The coconut soup is all right. It's really thick, almost buttery in flavor. I don't think they used butter but I don't know how else they could've created this effect. It comes with a whole bunch of floating mushrooms. The pad Thai is okay. I prefer mine to have a brown sauce, but this was more yellow and not very saucy. It came with a ton of veggies, though. The pad se ow had a really dark flavor and after a few bites I scraped it onto my husband's plate... The yellow curry isn't very flavorful. The panang curry was pretty good, probably the best dish we ordered from Thai Dish. Thai Dish gives you the option between white or brown rice, which is pretty cool. The staff (owners?) are very friendly and helpful. It's probably not worth a special drive but if you live or are visiting in the area, it's one of the best restaurant options. read more

My wife had called to order food and they were "busy", I understand how that works, I was a cook for a very high paced restaurant. As my wife proceeded to order the food for us and our visiting family, the man kept cutting her off and insisted on demanding her to tell him the next order. Then we said "I need to hurry for other line." . I called back to ask why he was so unprofessional and he said sorry very quickly and hung up. Yes the food is good, but in my opinion, customer service is equally as important. It was a very disrespectful experience for both my wife and I. Bummer. read more

Food is delicious, but since the new management came in they are horrible they dont really understand english, and the new server just stares at you while your eating! We have mentioned this to them before they dont care so good food, but whats good food without proper customer service? read more

Good food, nice spice and seasoning. One drawback, no wifi:( fast service though:) To be fair, I pretty much have just eaten the pad Thai, so I'm not sure how the other 98% of the menu tastes. Thai Dish is an attractive spot near the theater, and apparently quite popular, based on the streams of people coming through the doors before noon. I chose their Green Curry with Tofu from the lunch specials, and it arrived promptly, despite the crowd. The dish was visually appealing and well-seasoned. The vegetables were fresh and there was a beguiling hint of orange in the sauce - it could have been just the garnish, but whatever the source, it was a nice complement to the dish. read more

If I could leave 0 stars or negative stars I would. I came in for take out. It took 20 minutes for the to give me my food. 18$ for a yakisoba. I was starving and had no where else to go so I got it. Then was told I couldn't even take a bite to make sure it was worth it inside. I was basically kicked out. I aslo saw my food sitting on the counter for 5 minutes. It wasn't brought to me until I asked for it. Spare yourself the pain and torture of coming here. Especially now in days when there are so many options!! read more

Another review from my dad, an old guy, that's not easily impressed... Dad loves this place. Specifically, he loves the pineapple fried rice. Loves it so much he won't shut up about it. Call him on the phone and the first thing he tells me is about his last visit to Thai Dish. From the sounds of it, he eats there every day and has the same pineapple fried rice for every meal. In fact, just today he announced that Thai Dish is his favorite restaurant. Thanks to Thai Dish for keeping my dad fed and happy and know that he appreciates the good service and cleanliness of the place. Trust me, if there were anything worth complaining about I'd hear it but no, he's all, "oooh, my mouth is watering just thinking about it!" Quality and service has gone down each time I have visited or ordered take-out. Use to be a regular customer but not after today. Better options elsewhere. Today, I ordered two take-out entrees for lunch, the beef larb and pad see ew noodles. When I got home and opened the beef larb container saw that the portion was half the size it usually is, which is especially disappointing for price of $10.50. Also, it beef this time was stringy hard bits of tough tendon beef that was hard to swallow. I have prepared beef larb and bought it at authentic Thai restaurants so I know what the texture of the ground meet and flavor profiles should be. Couldn't eat this dish and not enjoyable. Aside from bad meat choice, the flavors weren't there either. Everyone avoided it. The pad see ew was okay. Again, nothing amazing to rave about here. They've also mixed up my take-out orders in the past and given my food away and had me wait for the customers to bring my food order back. Manager was apologetic but didn't offer to make up for his mistake for to keep my business. Pass on this place. read more

Horrible service!!! Went in shortly after opening and waitress was on her earpod but asked how many there were in party and seated us while continuing in her call. Over 15 minutes later she never came back. We even went to look for the two staff we saw when arriving, and they were in back somewhere. No one else was in restaurant, never got water, never got service so left after 20 minutes of waiting. Will not be going back read more

We get take out from here, for most of our family events. 5 star service for sure!! Being from Suriname, I would love to see traditional roti on the menu!! 2 complaints - when getting take out the yellow curry always leaks into the bag, so it gets allover everything. We had the Red Curry with pork and the Pad Thai with chicken. While the food tasted fine, the Pad Thai smelled like a mixture between body odor and cat food, something I've never experienced when eating Thai food before. Because of the smell, the pad Thai was inedible and we threw it away as soon as we got home. I would come back for the curry but absolutely never order the Pad Thai again. I am generally one to give Thai Dish a 5 star review. Last night...not so much. I had the spicy chicken fried rice and there was RAW chicken under the lime. When I mentioned it to the server he proceeded to give me a cooking lesson. "Well the food is raw when we prepare it." Thank genius I didn't know that. Pfft. After my food lesson the instructor stood there...after a moment of silence he sighed and offered to take it back and make a new one. Not sure if it was really a new one or the old one just reheated. The lime looked like the same cut as the one that had the raw chicken on it. It makes me sad that what was my favorite Thai restaurant has a way lower standard now in my book. read more

This restaurant has a very nice atmosphere in the same parking lot as the local Thriftway (off the main 99E highway). It has fresh ingredients, but I have been disappointed in the recent renderings of my favorite wide noodle dishes. It is getting some competition from a newer Thai restaurant in town so let's see. Still, this is a favorite of my family and --BTW -- it is family owned as are all U.S. Thai restaurants. Really nice people. read more

A couple years ago this place was so great the atmosphere was amazing! With the owner always being here and always knowing exactly what I ordered the two idiots that work here know a man and a woman, are ignorant we walk in don't great ya ignore when our drinks need to be filled I asked for the owners number to call him since we were sitting down eating and they just kept looking at both of us eating we felt so uncomfortable I finally said can we help you? And they were horrified that I even said that I asked for to go boxes and here I am now the food is great but the employees in the front don't care to be there they shouldn't even work there no customer service skills whatsoever ever! We stopped by Thai Dish and were promptly seated. The restaurant was, at most half full. After reviewing the menu for maybe 5 minutes we knew what we wanted, closed and set the menus at the end of the table and waited. And waited and waited some more. Twice the server clearly made eye contact with me and kept ignoring us. After 12 minutes of this we finally got up and left. This is a GREAT little find in Canby....I have been here quite a few times and have always found the food very flavorful and the service to be good to great depending on how busy they are! Beer and wine are also served and there is plenty of seating. It is also VERY clean, fresh and new so it is not a dive place at all! If you are out that way give it a try! read more

Best food in Canby. Can complete with any Portland Thai restaurant. Clean establishment, friendly servers, good food. Great Pad Thai. The shrimp appetizer is awesome. I have my favorites and I like to try something different once and a while, but always come back to the Pad Thai. Yummy! read more

This is my favorite restaurant bar none! Same for my wife. I think the food is absolutely fantastic and find the flavors to be better blended and more complementary than just about anywhere I've been, but definitely for Thai restaurants. read more
