This was a great Thai dining experience! The interior is warm and inviting with a cool ambiance and a mix of booth and table seating. The staff were super friendly - the bartender came over and explained how he literally dreamed up of their fall cocktails! I tried both fall cocktails - the Dr Eggnog and the pumpkin martini. Both were excellent!! We tried the crab rangoon and the gyoza starters. I preferred the latter as the former's filing had a somewhat odd flavor. We tried the chicken pad thai and the yellow chicken curry entrees. Both were exceptional!! I truly loved the curry best of all, though. Such a delicious and complex dish with a wonderful mix of flavors. Best curry I've ever had!! We tried the fried ice cream dessert. It was ok. Honestly the coating was a bit bland and slightly oily. Pretty good Thai food - more of a fusion place that also offers Chinese and Japanese cuisine. I'll admit I was a touch skeptical having Thai in NH and it's not the most authentic, but dinner was solid. Crab rangoons were fried nicely and served piping hot. The khao soi was a generous portion, but was lacking a bit of depth (missing/not a lot of fish sauce) and did not come with pickled mustard greens or a lime to brighten the curry broth. We requested a lime wedge so that helped round it out a bit. The space was casual and clean - a long narrow room with the bar and kitchen on one side and a mix of seating (booths, 2 and 4 tops) on the other side. I ordered the drunken noodle - it was honestly quite mediocre...the way it looks is the way it tasted - thrown together. You can tell that it was cooked in a hurry on high. The meat was overcooked noodles weren't cut - at one point I had a sheet of noodle...some of the veggies were undercooked and were hard. The only thing that I genuinely thought was ok was the Thai iced tea. Service was quick...but as you can see so was the quality of the food. Anyways the interior reminded me of a bar. read more

The restaurant was medium and size nothing spectacular but the food made the atmosphere very worth going in! Due to the ingredients being freshly made at order time, it took a little bit longer for us to get the food, but I am willing to wait that time for our next time there the portion size was enough for me to have my dinner and take home and have a lunch. It was piping hot. I thought the flavors of the food were very fresh tasting. I could've used a little bit more flavoring on the steak, but I just chose to eat it as is. I ordered the Basil Fried Rice and the gyoza through DoorDash, and I have to say--I was genuinely impressed. I've only had basil fried rice once before from a place back in Oklahoma City, so I was excited to see how this version compared. It absolutely delivered. The flavors were bold, fresh, and incredibly satisfying. I will say the spice level was a bit higher than I usually prefer, but it was still so good that I powered through every bite. The heat didn't take away from the experience at all; if anything, it added to the richness of the flavor. Next time, I'll simply ask for a little less spice, and I have no doubt it will be perfect. The gyoza deserves its own shout-out--perfectly cooked, great texture, and wonderfully flavorful. Exactly what you hope for when you order gyoza. We recently moved here from the West Coast. There we're used to quality Thai cuisine. We tried this place for dinner tonight and were quite impressed. The offer an extensive menu with a great selection of Thai classics. Alex, our server was fantastic. Very personable and affable. Great asset for the restaurant. We were also quite pleased with the size of the portions for the cost. To us. The costs are reasonable and in line with what we used to pay. However, the portion size is much larger. What is important, is the owner is also the chef. She must work incredible hours and having her on the wok reinforces the quality and authenticity of the food. The food was great as always. Unfortunately , the online ordering system didn't work properly. We didn't put in tip. But the system did, it added a 15% tip. I was going to bring it up when I picked up the order. One of the chefs brought out my order. The only person fluent in English was on the phone. I decided to take my food and go. The only reason I write this is to warn potential customers. The restaurant makes great food But since it started it has had multiple order fulfillment issues. So check everything. This was one of the best meals we have ever had in Manchester NH! It is in a more lively and updated area of the city with newer apartments and other stores/restaurants. The inside is hip and our server was fast and efficient. I loved my pad thai with chicken it was super fresh and perfectly flavored. The curry was good and the rice was so aromatic and fluffy. All the food was great and the drinks for the fall were awesome. They were crafted by the bartender who came to our table about how he dreamt them up and they were both amazing. The only thing was the boba tea.....the boba was undercooked and dry inside so nearly inedible. Thai tea itself was good however. I would return for sure next time I am in this area. Stopped here on a whim while in the area solo, grabbed a seat at the bar, and was incredibly happy with my choice. It was a bit quiet while I was there, but the menu options were enticing, and the Green Curry Miso Ramen was excellent. The venue is fairly simple, brightly lit, welcoming, no frills. The place was small but busy. It has a hipster feel to it but in a small diner/bar setting. It was very unique. The food is not authentic Thai but it comes close. It was absolutely delicious however. I truly enjoyed the tofu and pork gyoza app. I ordered the krapow with beef and it was beef slices (the unauthentic Thai part) and egg was additional but that's ok. For being a fairly new establishment this place has quickly rose to being one of the better restaurants on Elm St, so much do they were able to open a second location in the neighboring town. My experience here was amazing, the staff were very inviting and kind, while being efficient and helpful with the menu. This was awesome given that I myself am a newbie to Thai cuisine. The food itself was heaven, I had gotten this curry dish which the server recommended and my stomach was truly grateful. Superb - SUPERB Thai eatery in the heart of Manchester. We came here for lunch with a party of 10. We enjoyed ourselves a bunch with excellent service and awesome food. The Connection is in the heart of Manchester, with plenty of parking and quite accessible to the interstate. Our table was ready and we sat to order appetizers and drinks first. They have a good selection of Asian beers such as Sapporo, Singha and others although I chose a local Smuttynose IPA. My down was the Spicy Udon Chicken that was delicious. That Food Connection is a great place for lunch. Next we'll have to try its dinner menu. read more

I am very critical when it comes to good thai food and have never realized this restaurant even existed right in the heart of Manchester. We took our food for takeout, but I got very excited to eat when I saw other customers in the restaurant eating. The ramen bowls looked divine and made me a little upset I didn't order one, so I did. The fried rice was fully of veggies and rice was cooked perfectly, not too dry and with the right amount of taste. The takeout ramen bowl had the fillings separated from the broth to prevent sogginess. The "mild" curry still had a kick to it. Looking forward to trying more of their menu another time. read more

I ordered over the phone the Shiitake Bao Bun appetizers and Tomyam soup vegan style with tofu. The person that look my order was pleasant and verified with the kitchen staff that the broth for the Tomyam would/could be made vegan. Food was ready for pickup by the quoted time. The food was served hot and the ingredients used appeared and tasted fresh. I enjoyed my food very much. It's not the most authentic (depth of flavor) tasting Thai I've consumed but it is delightful. However, I would have to think twice about returning only due to location. I am not a fan of having to find and pay for parking, especially when ordering to-go. Honestly, such a hidden gem!!! We live in Boston and drove by Manchester. Who knew Manchester would have such tasty Thai food?? Boston has great Thai food, but I think Thai Food Connection is my personal favorite in the New England area. My favorites are the lamb shank curry! The lamb just fell right off the bone - it was insane. The beef noodle soup is also amazing. Similar to the lamb, the beef was just so tender. (We later tried chicken and it was good but not nearly as good). The broth is just what we needed on a chilly evening. The pad thai is also very flavorful and saucier than I normally have, but I prefer it this way. The service is overall very friendly and am rooting for the business to do well! We loved the place so much that we came back the following weekend! It was that good!! I don't normally revisit restaurants this soon, but this place was worth it! The coconut soup (Tom Kha): 5/5 absolutely phenomenal -- probably one of the best things we ordered Vegetable gyoza: 5/5 dipping sauce is very spicy tho if you're not into that Pork gyoza: 5/5 same dipping sauce but it was just so well done Crying tiger: 4/5 it was good but it's basically just pork!
