However, the service is spotty and the wait for food is ridiculous. This time, we had a 6:00 pm reservation. We ordered our appetizer and main course at the same time. The main courses also include a salad. I ordered a coke zero and my husband wanted a regular coke. This is the third time that he wanted one and they've been out of regular coke. How the heck do run out of coke... especially since they don't serve alcohol. We finally got our appetizer, the lumpia, which by the way is delicious, 45 minutes later. The salad finally came out 20 minutes later. We asked the waiter about the main course. He said he checked with the kitchen and they said in five minutes. 15 minutes later still waiting. Looking around we noticed that almost every table is dealing with the same issue. Honestly as much as I love the food...I doubt we will be back.

Approachable menu with as much fusion as authentic Korean. -- Chicken Wings: Jumbo wings with extra crispness and an inner texture varying between sufficiently moist and gushingly juicy, depending on the piece. Always liked them, and I tried twice more recently with similar positive results. Excellent flavor in both the Soy Garlic and the Sweet and Spicy Gochujang. Superb, and with no price hikes in at least five years, now an excellent value too. -- Kimchi Pancake: Crispy on the edges and fluffier inside, with kimchi adding some crunch and nice flavor to go with the starch. Thin dark sauce to complement it. I think of it as a Korean cross between scallion pancake and egg foo yong. Good for sharing. -- Seafood Jampong: A large bowl of seafood stew with a red broth that has some creaminess as well as spice. Nice texture and chock full of large mussels, scallops, shrimp (gigantic Gulf shrimp as well as baby shrimp), Asian squid, and noodles. The squid was a little chewy, but everything else was cooked beautifully. This dish satisfied both in the restaurant and as leftovers the next day. Good choice for family meal, date meal, or chowing with the buds meal.

We just did the sushi Love boat for four people and all of the sushi was fresh. The salmon was buttery. The tuna was firm. The rolls were done perfectly. We had to wait a bit at the door and there was a little bit of confusion there so we were delayed in getting our seats.... And the waitress was a bit delayed getting to our table, but we made the best of it. Next time we're here, I'm going to do some of the more Korean dishes, but the sushi is well recommended.

At the time of this posting, the menu here was very limited with a few Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese selections including noodle dishes, rice bowls, fried rice, soup, fried appetizers, pupu platter, and cold drinks. The menu plans to be expanded including combination platters. I stopped by The White Lotus very recently for takeout after placing an online order via Clover. My order was ready within 10 minutes. I ordered the Cambodian Beef Lok Lak Rice Bowl ($15.99 plus tax) and a small order of Pork/Shrimp Egg Rolls (4 for $4,99 plus tax). The Cambodian Beef Lok Lak Rice Bowl had tender grilled pieces of marinated beef steak, lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, lime & black pepper sauce over soft white rice. This bowl was a great choice and the beef had nice flavors. The 4 egg rolls were actually like spring rolls, very crispy with shredded cabbage, carrot, ground pork/shrimp, very greasy though. I would return here when the menu is expanded and more combination platters besides appetizer platters are offered.

A little hint of sherry (?) give them a delicious flavor Chicken Wings - initially cooked like a traditional style (for around here anyway) but then tossed in a delicious light sauce. Get these! Lotus Fried Rice - like a house fried rice but with Chinese sausage (lap-xuong). I found this delicious and packed with non-rice ingredients.

The green papaya salad was strange had different (more) spices than most places. It's a dish I make at home several times a year and order out often. Tim thought it tasted more like kimchi... The shrimp we added were the best part. The Thom Kha was inedible, strangely salty, coconut milk separated and grainy, it tasted as strange as it looked. Thehicken had an odd texture. We sent it back and it was offered to be taken off the bill. It didn't taste like any other Thom kha I've ever eaten. The green curry chicken had good flavor, the veggies were cooked nicely, but the chicken again had an odd texture not sure if there coating it in something like cornstarch before the typical poach? Rice served with it was mushy and really unappealing. The food was expensive for what it was. Around $20 a dish and honestly the food was not something I would order again. The service was on top of it, and that made it 3 stars. It has really good reviews. I don't know if we ordered wrong? I should have noted the Pan Asian description as a warning But meh

Seems like they do more take out with a table by the front door for door dash. Back door was open letting in a cool breeze. Seated quickly. Friendly server. Dining area was clean. Ordered boba teas which were ok, but some of my boba were crumbly as if they hadn't fully softened. Tasted watered down. Started with edamame which was generously salted, and salted again for good measure. Beans were cooked well. Tried the Tom Kha which looked nice but was pretty bland and seemed to be missing some zing, lemongrass? Tom Yum was better but also missing some tartness. Tried the green papaya salad which seemed to have all the elements (don't always see the tiny dried shrimps) but was also generously salted, almost inedible. Tried the Pad Thai which was so-so. Also bland with a gravy like sauce. Good amount of shrimp. No egg? Tried the red curry with chicken, satisfactory. Tried the Thai fried rice, satisfactory. Tried the Kra-Pow. Very salty. Egg was over done.

It came with a sipping bowl of chicken broth and a dipping sauce. The chicken was not even edible. Extremely chewy and dry .... Not even sure what cut of meat it was. Also, the breading was so thick I could hardly even taste the meat. The rice was fine and the broth was good. But overall, the dish was at best 1.0 out of 5.0. We also ordered chicken wings ... way over sauced and over breaded. There was very little meat on the wings as the quality was again far below standard. My wife had the drunken noodles ... this dish was fine ... but nothing special. This review is an anomaly. I went to Choppystix previously and had the Kha Soi ... it was excellent! And I do not take a negative review lightly. I rarely write them because I only go places where I am confident in the food for the most part ... see my other reviews. But the quality of our meal yesterday was far below what we experienced previously. I know Choppystix can provide excellent quality food and service. They just missed the mark yesterday. Our server was very good ... attentive and prompt. But I typically am not a complainer so she did not have an opportunity to address these issues. The restaurant is spotless and a great vibe.

A true Lakes Region gem -- don't let the location fool you!…read moreLemongrass may be tucked off the main road in Moultonborough, but it's an absolute classic in the area and one of those places we always make a point to visit when we're in New Hampshire. It's not flashy -- the décor is a bit dated -- but the food? Utterly fantastic. Owners Luncky and Wu clearly put their hearts into every dish, and it shows. The quality, care, and consistency here are rare to find. One of my personal favorites is the seared ahi tuna from the appetizer menu -- it's so good, I usually have to order two because one just isn't enough for our family! The fish of the day, often featuring haddock, is another highlight -- light, flavorful, and expertly prepared every time. My husband swears by the seafood curry, which is rich, fragrant, and packed with flavor. The service is just as impressive as the food. Their bartender, Cristine, is a local legend -- she's known my in-laws for decades and still remembers exactly how my mother-in-law likes her Blue Orchid cocktail. No need to order -- it just appears, perfectly made. That kind of personal touch is what makes Lemongrass feel so special. And don't skip dessert -- the white chocolate crème brûlée is a standout. You won't find that just anywhere, and it's absolutely worth saving room for. Lemongrass is more than a restaurant -- it's a beloved part of our Lakes Region tradition, and we can't imagine a trip to NH without it.
