Highly Recommended for Authentic Ramen!…read more I was looking for an authentic ramen place in town, and this spot came highly recommended--it did not disappoint! The Ramen: Truly authentic. You can tell by the broth, which tastes 100% homemade. It's not that MSG-heavy style that makes you want to drink a gallon of water afterward. I tried three different kinds, and all were outstanding. A standout was the cold noodle with a side of dipping soup--so interesting! You soak the noodles in the soup before eating. It might be a love-or-hate dish for some, but I found it unique . A Note: If you prefer a heavily seasoned, traditional American-style ramen (on the saltier side), this might differ from your expectation. Their flavors are more balanced and nuanced. Also Tried: The sushi was good--not outstanding, but reasonably priced with good portions and a fresh taste. Dessert Lovers, Listen Up! You must try the Fried Ice Cream. It made me feel like home! Hot, crispy, doughy outside with cold ice cream inside. So yummy!

Probably the best sushi in Ft Wayne.... So underrated. I am so glad I found this place. Decent…read moreprices and great quality rolls. Rolls had minimal rice and they were definitely filling. I also liked that they had iced green tea and it was pretty strong. I forgot the names of the rolls, but you can probably tell from the pictures that you won't go wrong choosing Haru. Servers were nice and when I came it was pretty quiet. It's really close to the mall too, so I was able to walk off some it. Ha I also had the mochi ice cream for dessert, pretty generic but a great end to the meal. I would totally come back!

The restaurant wasn't super busy when we got there but the hibachi chefs were having a great time and keeping everyone entertained. It was an enjoyable experience. Here are the things we got from the restaurant: 1. The waitress messed up the orders. Two of us ordered scallop and shrimps however, the waitress wrote down Chicken and shrimps so the chef cooked the wrong meal for us. We had to complained to the waitress. We finally received scallop to replace chicken. 2. The scallops are over cooked. Thery were on the stove for too long. they don't taste well at all. My younger brother oordered separate appitizer. He did not get the right order. 3. Everyone suppose to get 2 shrimps appitizer. Threre was no appitizers served at the table. We had to make a complain ro the waitrwss again. It alredy mentioned on the MENU. 4. We think the Chef should be aware of the missing shrimp appitizers in his cart. Shrimp appitizer is the first thing he has to do for every customer on at the table. It looks like he is a new chef. Not much show actions at the table. 5 the shrimps are over cooked. They are hard to chew. it does not taste well either 6. We noticed that the chef put soy sauce in every maeal orderand lots of soysauce. It made the food taste salty. OVerall we thinks it was a waste our time and money.

Food is always amazing…read more The service is very good even when they are busy they still make sure everyone is taken care of. Their portions are well worth the price. The sushi rolls are not tiny like you see at some sushi restaurants and all of the hibachi meals that I have ever gotten here have been more than enough for myself and I usually end up taking some home.

The coconut shrimp tasted homemade and the sauce was nice and savory. It's definitely more of a fun and tropical American style roll but delicious! We also got the Kiyomi fried rice. It has a lot of vegetables which was nice. I loved the zucchini and squash. It tasted like really good hibachi. The shrimp had great flavor too and the chicken was tender. My husband had two tuna sushi (nigiri) and thought it was decent. We can't remember the name of the role my husband got, but it had spicy tuna on top. He enjoyed it. We both could only eat about half of our rolls because they were so giant. This is the best restaurant in Syracuse I'd say and I was very pleasantly surprised. I wish I took a picture before eating most of the fried rice but I honestly wasn't expecting everything to be so good!
