I came here base on the Yelp reviews and was thrilled that they are right. This place is an excellent stop for lunch but be warned, It's very popular so a little patience is warranted. I opted for sushi the first day and loved the rolls I got and the complimentary bowl of hot soup was great! I also ordered the Gyoza appetizer and really enjoyed it. I like it so much that I went back the next day and tried one of the Thai teriyaki beef and gobbled it down with a little drizzle of their VERY SPICY sauce. SO DAMN GOOD! I also opted for another sushi roll and really everything I had was excellent and I would order again. I'm just bummed that I don't live here and can't explore the menu further. The last few times we ate there we started noticing the quality of the food had changed. Come to find out, there are new owners running it! I came across this place by chance and decided to give it a try. For dinner I had the tom kah soup and red curry, both were very tasty and satisfying. When it comes to Thai food the level of spicy is always a tough thing to gauge especially on the first visit and the person taking my order fully understood. I did 'medium' on a scale of mild, med and hot but was given some side spices (one wet and one dry) to go along with the take out order which I liked. I like really spicy food so I am going to try the hot next time around and find out how far I can push the spicy meter. Good food at a reasonable price. Was visiting the area for a quick one-day trip and stopped here to meet a local friend for lunch. The place is a typical Thai restaurant. Half the restaurant seating are booths and the other half are tables. It's split right in the middle of the room. I had the Pad Kee Mao noodles with shrimp and beef. The portion is a typical lunch size, which is about little more than half of a typical dinner portion. The shrimp size was on the smaller side. The noodle dish was flavorful. It also came with a soup for lunch which was little more than flavored broth. In all, it's a solid place for a quick lunch. read more

I'm a Thai enthusiast, always looking for a good little Thai shop to stop into. Because this is near my home, it's so convenient for me but the food is average. It's not bad at all, but there's nothing special that I've ordered here and felt overwhelmingly happy about. I love their fresh rolls - by far one of my favorite things on the menu. I'm usually one to get Pad Thai or some noodle dish and it's all been really good. I ask for things extra spicy and they are happy to oblige. The service is good, I find the lady who some describe as being mean or whatnot, completely endearing. She's not "southern friendly" but she's super hospitable and she's very accommodating with weird orders or to give you suggestions when you don't know what you want. My favorite place to get Thai food in the area! I always get their chicken pad Thai. It has a great balance of meat and noodles. The sauce is a little darker than other Thai restaurants, but has more flavor! Be carful though, one of the chiefs is a little heavy handed with the spice. He'll make a medium, HOT! This is my favorite place to take my lunch break while at work. We don't usually go on Fridays anymore because it is so crowded, but the day of the week never changes the quality of the food or service. I have two go-to dishes: pad se ew and red curry (aka liquid gold). I have tried other items on the menu as well and have yet to be disappointed. The staff is our favorite because they are very personable. Since we used to all get fried tofu with our meals they call us "tofu family" and so we call the owners tofu mama and papa. They also serve dinner with an even bigger selection of authentic dishes. It is definitely worth an evening to get a Thai or Lao beer! read more

We come to Duncan once or twice a year for swim meets and so fortunate to have a couple of really good restaurants close by the hotel and pool. This is one of those. Fun, laid back, inexpensive restaurant that is great for groups! Last time it was only a group of parents but this year we brought the kids. And my oldest had never had Thai but was able to find several good options of what to eat. He is picky but liked his beef dish very much and tried sushi too and love the crunchy roll. I had spicy tuna roll and loved my Pad See Ew with chicken. It was a hearty wide noodle dish in a garlic dark soy sauce that was hearty and a little spicy. It's ok. I've had better thai food, but the one thing this place is better is giving you the spice! I had my seafood green curry "thai hot" and it was blazing! Loved it. But I like my curry a bit thicker to where its "saucier" versus runny. I also would have preferred a bit more seafood in it since It was mostly peppers. I ate at the Thai Garden in Duncan today. It was the best sushi I have ever had. Not only was it the most delicious sushi I've eaten, but also innovative. All of the rolls that we had were the sushi chef's own creations. The combination of different flavors and texture were perfectly executed. The presentation was phenomenal as well. I tried to go here for lunch but it was too busy. Couldn't even get a parking spot. Came back for dinner and it was nice and quiet. The service was good and the pad Thai was decent. If it was served with a lime (which is normal for most pad Thai?) I would call it great. I ordered mild and added my own spice from their sauce dishes. Thai Garden gets real busy around 11:40 and stays that way till around 1:00 so you might want to hit it up early so your not waiting. There is also a sushi chef who is awesome.
