Plenty of options, quick service, and well made Asian cuisine. I stopped by for a quick dinner pit stop. They serve both Thai and Japanese cuisines, but I opted for hibachi. The dish was larger than expected so I had plenty of leftovers. I ordered the hibachi chicken for dinner and it came with a side soup and side which was a nice surprise. The hibachi sauce itself was a little saltier than I would have wanted but mixing it with white sauce and rice helped mellow out the flavor. I would recommend for a casual dinner out. read more

Our go to sushi for take out. The sushi is always consistently delicious. The rice ratio is perfect. We went in for lunch. The servers are friendly and service is great despite it being a busy day. I ordered the pad Thai, I would have preferred more shade and more fish sauce. However that is a personal preference that might be for everyone. Nonetheless it was delicious. Dudes- this is not a chain restaurant! It's the real thing! Impeccable service, excellent food. Wow I've lived right near here for over a year and never realized what a true gem this is. Very basic selection of fish. Mostly salmon, shrimp, and spicy tuna. I tried to have a conversation with the waitress, but she was not interested. Not much personality fo the food or service. Fresh & full of great flavors! Service was prompt and efficient. All my requests were accommodated and enjoyed each and every bite. Started with Tom Yum Goong soup. Delicious with veggies and shrimp. Next was my sushi roll. Had a touch decision as Tokyo Cafe was one of the few sushi places that will use my preferred brown rice in roll. The other option was the Out of Control roll which included my favorites of tuna, salmon yellowtail, avocado, and a bonus lobster salad with no rice, just a rice paper binding. Opted for the latter, and was not disappointed. I also selected the seafood, udon entrée, and some warm saki as my drink. Had the fried cheesecake for dessert - lightly battered and preserved the integrity of pure cheesecake. Everything was delicious and beyond expectation. The presentation was immaculate, and all reviews were accurate. Do not let the location of a semi strip mall anchored with a Publix supermarket fool you. The service and pride in presentation to many other pricier sushi restaurants. The addition of Thai food made the menu selections, very difficult, and look forward to trying the items I did not get during this visit. read more

The service was amazing from the time me stepped in to the time we left. The food was delicious to the point I just kept adding things lol Then the restaurant gave you Tokyo vibes. Our first visit and it was a good one. Cold Sapporo is a plus for me and I tried two sushi rolls...the sweet heart roll was very good but the spicy salmon was mediocre. House salad with ginger is delicious as is their miso soup. My friend got hibachi chicken which was an enormous platter with mixed veggies. The chicken was a little dry and flat tasting but the veggies were amazing. Served with a delicious white sauce which helped. Service was solid and the place was packed. First few times were good but this last time when I ordered takeout it was not good. I ordered the yaki udon noodles with shrimp. It was $15 and flavorless. The "sauce" was literally chicken broth and the shrimp was so overcooked. I would never get that again! read more

My wife and I were traveling to Greenville SC and saw the great reviews for this restaurant. We thoroughly enjoy Asian cuisine and mapped out a route to this shopping center location. As advertised they have some limited outdoor seating. The restaurant was not overly busy so we elected to dine inside as the summer heat was still quite warm. We both decided to order the Bento Boxes with a salad and soup which came with the boxes. However, we did upgrade to the mushroom soup instead of the miso. The service was very efficient and polite. The ice team was some of the best restaurant ice tea I've had in recent memory. The Bento Box presentation was first class and all of the food included was very delicious. The food isn't bad, it just depends on what you order. The soft shell crab appetizer is $10 but it's only one small crab, guts and all, and a few pieces of vegetables. That was not worth it at all, you really don't get any crab meat. The sushi is good, also depending on what you order. Some of the rolls are room temp which wasn't as pleasant to eat. The service isn't the best, our waiter only came over to take our order and give us the check. Another guy came by to refill water and take plates. They weren't even that busy, only 5 tables were seated. It is nice on the inside but the bathrooms, at least the women's, could be better!
