    Fried oysters

The food was great! I went with a group of four and we all enjoyed our meals! We all shared the baked oysters and they were incredible. I highly recommend ordering these as we all could not stop saying how good they were. Two of us got the fish tacos and they were able to accommodate our request to have the fish blackened instead of fried! It had a generous portion of fish and a tasty mango salsa on top! It did need a bit of hot sauce for a tad more flavoring but once I added that it was perfect! One of us got the plate of fried oysters which he liked and the other got the shrimp and grits which he also enjoyed! The service was impeccable. Our waitress was kind, thorough, and we were left never needing anything as she was always on top of it! I had no idea how big the place was until we walked inside and kept walking and walking and walking until we got to the back (lol). There were a ton of people there too which is always a great sign. The two guys in our group enjoyed one of the stouts which they both loved.

Tiny little po boy for $15, and wasn't even good. Ridiculous!

SEVERELY overpriced, and less than mediocre food. They charge $9 per cocktail, and $18 for a double shot. It should be $9 EXTRA ($18 total) for a double! The fried calamari was so overcooked and crunchy, you could have broken a tooth! The ahi tuna was $17 for a tiny order (like 5 pcs). The oyster po boy was $15, and half the size of a normal sandwich. Not only that, but it was horrible! An "oyster house" should at least specialize in oysters, but they don't! Seriously, there are too many better places to have a good meal at more reasonable prices. This place is NOT it! Trash!

Stopped in right at opening time during a quick trip to SC and was pleasantly surprised by the flavor and quality of the food. Everything was cooked just right--the scallops, the risotto and the veggies. Granted, there was only one other table there at the time, but everything came out quickly, and I was in and out and back on the road in a jiffy. Nice service, too!

Great food!! Great service!! My wife and I went there based off our neighbors recommendation. Our server was actually one of the owners Katie and she was extremely attentive and accommodating to say the least. Our food was delicious at a great price. We told Katie that we will definitely come back.

Nostalgia and ode to my hubby's grandpa's hometown, we checked in at this spot in old downtown Greer...yes, of all the places in Greenville where the hotel we were staying at, tagging along walk down memory lanes was n'étais en mauvais! Okay, let's get down to the point, this place was 80% full when we checked in. We were seated at the back row corner near the bar. Our waitress came over after a minute or two took our drinks. She brought our drinks then said she'll be right back. 3-5 minutes later she came back and took our food order. We could tell she's overwhelmed and a bit hurried, as she was also waiting on a few other tables. We ordered 2 appetizers: Calamari - good taste but a bit overdone Oysters blue point - we knew it would be small but they were sweet and tasty. Entrees: 1. Seafood cobb- came with 4 large pieces of salmon, 3 fried oysters and 3 sauteed shrimp, romaine, red onions, small pieces of tomatoes.for me, this dish looks like a seafood platter with very little salad underneath the proteins and no complaints here, just confused. 2. Shrimp & Grits- looked runny to me and my son said it was okay. 3. Oysters platter with fries- my hubby said he liked it but could tell he was disappointed, he ate only half or maybe he was just full... Will continue later I think the place has good offerings but it also has

We opted for an early dinner to bear whatever crowd a Saturday night might bring. We were greater immediately by our server and ordered fountain drinks. The Diet Coke I received tasted like carbonation and when they brought me another from behind the bar it had no carbonation. We ordered the devil eggs and oyster for an appetizer. They tasted great. The accompanying crackers looked heavily seasoned but were unexpectedly bland. We opted for the Front Porch Fried Chicken to share as our entree because we both wanted to try it. The menu said 30 minutes wait time but it surprisingly came out quick. When we asked for plates to eat the meal from the server brought out two appetizer plates. This was confusing because I'm not sure how he expected us to eat chicken and two sides on app plates. We struggled through it. The chicken was tasty with the right amount of heat on the skin. The macaroni and cheese however was a huge disappointment. It was beyond bland. I had to question if an African American Chef really okay'd that recipe. The collards on the other hand were overly seasoned and had too much of a kick. It was as if someone in the kitchen got a little too heavy handed with the peppers. I had to read the menu to see if this was called out. It wasn't, which was disappointing, because I could not eat them, and I don't mind a higher spice level. All in all we decided we'd rate the place a 5.5/10. I think the place has a lot of potential but there are small things that need to be fixed before we return due to the distance.

Sort of reminded me of an old diner that had be renovated to a clean upscale vibe. We ordered the steak kabobs and they were mouthwatering with flavor. My fiancee got an old fashioned and I got a rabbits foot, one of their craft gin cocktails. It was AMAZING, the gentleman's ice cube I believe was made with lavender so as it melted, your drink was even more flavorful and not watered down. He ordered the shiny duck and I the beef fillet and mashed potato. Both were also delicious, this is a farm to table spot so you know it's fresh. One thing which I didn't minus a star for was considering the price point I would think they would offer a vegetable with your meal. Few spears of broccolini or asparagus or carrots, just to make it feel a little more well-rounded of a plate. The were out of a few items being a busy day/night but we didn't mind. We will try them next go around. Our server Erin was just epic, great sense of humor and very attentive! We will be back again and make sure to sit in her section. Cheers to supporting local non chain restaurants!

Really good food that we enjoyed thoroughly. Very interesting menu-fusion of many cuisines featuring many ingredients that found their way into places one would not expect. With happy results! I had the salmon moussaka. The salmon was delicious-slightly blackened. Great quality salmon. Paired nicely with the lovely tzatziki and accompanied by salad heavy with toasted garbanzos and mucho quinoa, 'cukes, endive-heavy greens and a spot on bright dressing. Sister had black bean burger on dressed bun that was accompanied by perfectly prepared steak fries with house made ketchup that had a slight heat to it. Really good as well. Kitchen staff nailed the preparation and everything came out perfectly. First meal out in Greenville (as we cook). I could not have been more pleased. Great value for the price. Certainly not inexpensive, but not outrageous. I will definitely be "stealing" this moussaka dish and presentation for my wife the minute I return home! Menu is in transition per our wait person, and one interesting dish was not available. And a croquette dish had been substituted the croquettes for a latke-like pancake (I presume)-not a croquette. Extremely friendly to the veg crowd! Seems like a great kitchen and well run restaurant. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere is very inviting... clean lines.... clean restaurant... terrific attentive service. We looked for a restaurant in the Greenville area that offered vegan and non vegan options. So this fit the bill. Richard said the veggie burger was a bit too soft for his liking. I say that in reference to a vegan burger we had in Berlin that was quite meaty in texture. I think using pea protein really makes a difference in texture... it is used more overseas than in the US. I had the zucchini and potato arepa. It was very tasty and quite filling!!!! A little too heavy for me for lunch... very hearty option. Our waitress was right there when we needed her, kept our water glasses filled, which is important to me because I drink a lot of water at meals. Our daughter had the Brussel sprouts, which she said were delicious. Serving sizes are good!!
