The food was great! I went with a group of four and we all enjoyed our meals! We all shared the baked oysters and they were incredible. I highly recommend ordering these as we all could not stop saying how good they were. Two of us got the fish tacos and they were able to accommodate our request to have the fish blackened instead of fried! It had a generous portion of fish and a tasty mango salsa on top! It did need a bit of hot sauce for a tad more flavoring but once I added that it was perfect! One of us got the plate of fried oysters which he liked and the other got the shrimp and grits which he also enjoyed! The service was impeccable. Our waitress was kind, thorough, and we were left never needing anything as she was always on top of it! I had no idea how big the place was until we walked inside and kept walking and walking and walking until we got to the back (lol). There were a ton of people there too which is always a great sign. First off, we were very happy to dine-in with what seemed like a back to normal, pre-Covid atmosphere. Some people wore masks, some people did not and it felt like we could make the choice freely. We made a reservation fairly late in the afternoon on a Friday for a 6:30 table for two. We arrived on time to see that the restaurant appeared crowded and understaffed, but we were so pleased to get out that we just figured we would grin and bear it. We were seated at 6:45 and able to order all apps, drinks and our meals by 6:52, so that was not a bad wait. I actually noted the time for this review. Strategically, and because the restaurant was bustling, we ordered a bottle of wine that was quickly delivered with our waters. Appetizers arrived 7:22 followed by food at 7:36 - nearly perfect timing between the two with a little bit longer of a wait for the meal to arrive. The people watching we have long missed was worth it. We enjoyed oysters Rockefeller for one appetizer and fried calamari for the other. Both were good, not great, but good. The oysters were definitely on the small side. I was surprised that there were only a couple of choices for oyster varieties and there was no oyster stew offered on the menu. Surprising for an "oyster house." My wife had the seafood salad and I chose the fried oysters - mainly because this is an oyster house and I am not going to fry oysters at home. Other choices that I regularly will cook at home were on the menu, such as pan seared scallops, salmon, crab cakes, etc. I almost went for the seafood nachos, but that will be next time. Our server was friendly, attentive and very busy. For someone so busy, we did not feel neglected at all. It was an expensive night for this type of meal ($100, but that included a generous tip). Primarily, and pleasantly, we were just very glad to be there in some level of normalcy and the overall experience was outstanding. The Bartender/waitress was very rude & answer the wrong drink. She (older lady) did make sure everything was ok & when realize the drinks we ordered were wrong it wasn't a big deal. We order another drink & the drinks didn't taste anything like the first when addressed about it she had an attitude about it & argued they it tasted the same. We notice other white guess were approached sooner and had more contact with the bartender/waitress was more talkative and more friendly towards otherguests. SEVERELY overpriced, and less than mediocre food. They charge $9 per cocktail, and $18 for a double shot. It should be $9 EXTRA ($18 total) for a double! The fried calamari was so overcooked and crunchy, you could have broken a tooth! The ahi tuna was $17 for a tiny order (like 5 pcs). The oyster po boy was $15, and half the size of a normal sandwich. Not only that, but it was horrible! An "oyster house" should at least specialize in oysters, but they don't! Seriously, there are too many better places to have a good meal at more reasonable prices. Not happy with the way they treat people who take the time to call and make reservations. We made reservations for 6 @ 8. We got there 5 min early. They had us wait about 30 min before we decided to leave. If you make reservations then honor them. read more

Stopped in right at opening time during a quick trip to SC and was pleasantly surprised by the flavor and quality of the food. Everything was cooked just right--the scallops, the risotto and the veggies. Granted, there was only one other table there at the time, but everything came out quickly, and I was in and out and back on the road in a jiffy. Nice service, too! read more

This is a wonderful gem! I not only love the sushi (I am not a true sushi lover) but the drinks and staff are fabulous. Great town and great residents. While visiting the area to attend the Master's, a friend took us to the lovely little town of Greer for dinner at this seafood restaurant. It's a comfy and cozy place, with a dark and subdued interior that does not give you that typical "I'm inside a wet refrigerator" seafood house feeling. The food was mostly good - not great, just good. My risotto and scallops were bland. The philadelphia sushi roll could also have used some zing. This is a review for 4 diners having dinner on a Friday night. We arrived without reservations and were seated immediately. We may have taken the last table because they were crowded. Our order included a steak, crab cakes, and 2 Philly cheese sandwiches. Service was good as was the food. The crab cakes were outstanding as was the parmasean fries. It's a more casual eatery in downtown Greer with mostly high top tables with a few lower tables in the back. They also have fresh sushi in the back of the restaurant but none indulged so I can't comment on this service. It has more of a Gastropub atmosphere with a long bar in the front area. I would recommend this location for a causal dinner while in Greer. read more

This was the second time we've been here, first was during a lunch time, did a walk in and great food/service. The second time was a walk in for dinner was told 45-1hr, wound up being way more than an hour. We got there before 7 and didn't get to eat until nearly 9pm.
