The coconut soup (I got it with veggies) was very good. Lots of broccoli, green beans, mushrooms. Broth was not spicy at all - could have used some heat. But it was flavorful. The Bangkok Dumplings with Chicken were also good, accompanied by a sweet sauce that was pleasant and not cloying (not overly sweet). The 5 fried dumplings were in a container sitting on some shredded carrot and sprinkled with scallions. It was really an attractive presentation for a take out appetizer. For entree, I got the vegetable Pad Thai. A huge portion. First bite - I thought it was kind of boring - but then I mixed it up in the container and, with the sauce spread uniformly through the entree, it was very good. It's been a little minute since I've eaten here so decided to get a Takeout order instead of dining in the other night and it didn't disappoint as always. The young lady and guy that took care of our takeout order were swift with greeting me and taking my order. The food was DELICIOUS as always, hot, FRESH with full of flavor. My sweetie ordered my usual order Basil Fried Rice with Chicken and add Shrimp, I had the Basil Fried Rice with Chicken add beef. The Thai Sesame Wings were huge( which I wish were a little smaller) but they were crispy and full of flavor. The Chicken Dumplings are always a hit. The person that got the fried rice would have liked to have something like yum yum sauce and I think the steamed rice could have had a little more flavor. My review is based off of my food being delivered. I have never been at this restaurant physically. I ordered Heaven Sample Plate and Beef Drunken Noodles. My order was prepared and delivered to me within 45 minutes. It arrived in a heavy brown paper bag stalles I'm both sides with an order receipt attached. Two containers with little spillage. The food was piping hot. Literally. That's rare on food deliveries especially since I live in a neighboring city from Hapeville. Heaven Sample Plate- 2 spring rolls, 2 dumplings, 2 crab cream cheese rolls, 2 shrimp rolls, 2 chicken on a stick along with sauces. EVERYTHING on the sample plate was good. Omg. Everything was so flavorful. Beef Drunken Noodles- The food was steaming hot and the aroma made me want to dig in quickly. At first glance it doesn't seem like a lot of food until you start digging in. Noodles, steak, orange green and red bell peppers and plenty of onions. I was in heaven. The taste was so amazing. Sometimes you have a first experience that stands out so much that you've got to say something. And this was one of them. I ordered our dinner for pickup and it was ready within 20min or so! Upon arrival around 5 pm or so, the restaurant wasn't very busy at all besides one solo diner and a pair in the corner. It was very dim but beautifully decorated with a busy team working away in the back kitchen. Despite being a quiet day in the dining room, I could see that the pickup/delivery side of the biz was booming, as there were dozens of receipts laid out and a few tables set up for minimum-contact pickup. My pickup was a smooth transition and the team member that cashed me out was quick and friendly, we love that! My drive home was probably my only complaint because omg, how am I supposed to focus on the road while smelling that delicious food?! Once home, although it was still early evening, I dove right into that food! Shoutout to my bf for sharing his rice because - WOW. That Basil Fried Rice is incredibly flavorful and the smell was just amazing, I want to bottle it up, lol. And the wings, the wings! I stumbled on this place a few years ago and today it's one of my favorites! It's never crowded when I go but you might have to wait for service bc it's a small entity and there is usually not more than 1-2 servers, and they are both manning the inside customers as well as their takeout orders. Love love love this spot! Since I've moved to East point I've been going to this place nonstop and it's always consistent! Since covid they are only doing take out which is perfect for me because that's all I do anyways. Even with them only doing takeout it still doesn't take long at all. We call it in and we leave immediately to go pick it up and it's already ready every time! And trust me we live right around the corner. Everyone that works there is so pleasant and helpful. They explain everything that's in the bag just in case there might've been a mix up over the phone or you didn't know that a dish had a particular food in it. Sometimes their phone can be hard to connect but I just take it as they get really busy! This is the first time I've ever taken pics of the food here so I decided to do a review today. The salad was supposed to come with a peanut sauce, but it came with a very thin pink liquid. I think it might have a little ginger in it? I'm not sure, but I wasn't into it. I was happy to see it had mango on it, I wasn't expecting it but I love mango! The curry chicken rolls were small and mostly potato, not bad, but not great. The pad Thai was the biggest disappointment. Like others have mentioned, it was suuuuper dry. Like no sauce and because of that, very little flavor. I got it medium and it was actually super spicy. I visited for the second time today. The food was awesome and this time there was rice. The parking was cool because I luckily found a parallel parking spot right across from the venue. However, what I did not like was the wait time. I work for the same company as two young ladies that preceded my being seated. They were already eating, but they also got their check & a to go box and had time to chit chat. I finished my food but had to wait. This was lunch time. So now the restaurant begins to fill up & so I got into a line that some seated and to go customers began forming. Of course I was noticed then. Yet, the manager/waitress was trying to get me to sit down & wait for my ticket. So of course age understood nothing I was saying, so I pulled out my card & paid her there. My mom and I visited the restaurant around 5pm today and literally seconds after we made our way to the table/counter to view the menu, the young man who I assume was the host asked if we were ready to order. No big deal. Even though we hadn't even spent a full 30 seconds reading the menu, I wasn't bothered by it. Finally after standing there for a while trying to decide what to order, my mom suggested that we take the menu to a table so we could sit while we decided. There was no one else in the restaurant when we first got there so, again, it wasn't a big deal. After ordering, I went to the restroom to wash my hands and when I came back out I noticed my mom's demeanor had changed from happy to annoyed. I asked her what was wrong and she told me that the host had greeted the party of four who had just walked in, escorted them to a table WITH individual menus and glasses of water. None of which was offered to us. Again, I wasn't overly bothered by this although my mom was still very upset and she waved the host down and said, "we would like some water too." Finally when our food was brought out, the lady who sat the food on the table mumbled something under her breath, placed a paper plate with plastic folks and a single napkin in front of us and went back to the kitchen. A another couple entered the place a few seconds later, and this time I witnessed the drastic difference between the "service" we got and the service given to them. The host greeted the couple, led them to a table, brought back two glasses of water along with... actual SILVERWARE and not plastic forks like we had been given. So I glance over to the other table where the first group was seated and noticed that they had silverware as well!!! WTF? By now I'm getting a bit annoyed, mostly because my mom was upset, so I asked her what she wanted to do. I could tell that she was trying her best not to ruin the mood but she then pointed out that she didn't have any napkins for the Thai wings she'd ordered with her veggie rice. She got up and went to the get napkins from the table near the register since the host was completely ignoring us at this point. Finally I decided that the glaring difference in our service compared to the other patrons was too much to overlook and I told my mom, "let's go". We didn't even get a chance to touch the food so I can't comment on the taste, but all in all, it was more than obvious that we were not "as welcomed" in the establishment as the others. When we drove by to park we knew it was going to be great bc it was a "hole in the wall" restaurant and those are always the best. We ordered the pad Thai, green curry, Tom yum soup, spring rolls, fried rice, hot garlic, chicken on a stick, dumplings (all chicken) and every single dish surpassed our expectations!! I work nearby, so I come to Thai Heaven often. The food is good, reasonably priced, and super quick so it's ideal for a lunch break meal. My coworker friend and I came here one Friday around 11:30 and were some of the first people in the restaurant. We were seated and greeted immediately. After bringing back our drinks, the server came back and got our food orders. I ordered the pineapple fried rice with shrimp (tails off), which comes with your choice of coconut soup, salad, or spring roll. I chose coconut soup and added a spring roll for $1. Within minutes, out came our spring rolls, then our coconut soup, and finally our entrees. The staff knows a lot of people come here on their lunch breaks, so they move swiftly, yet politely to get people in and out...which is appreciated. Before we finished our meals, our checks and to-go boxes were on the table without us having to ask...stellar! As always, the food was great, the portions were perfect (aside from wishing there were more shrimp in my entree), and we were in and out in a timely manner. Best Drunken noodles I've had hands down people!! Service was sketch when I walked in to be seated and acknowledged, but our server was great. Grabbed a seat next to the window to people watch and order the Thai spring rolls and drunken noodles with beef. The rolls were fresh and the dipping sauce was perfect with it, even with the peanuts. The noodles and beef were better than I expected. So much I dreamt of them later that night. The noodles were fat and the beef was tender and sweet, with some heat throughout. I was impressed to find such great food in this upcoming area in Atlanta. I could tell they had great food by the amount of Door Dash orders and take out I saw coming in and out the door.
