My coworkers and I were leaving Atlanta and had some time to kill, so one of them suggested this place since we all like Sushi. The host was able to seat us immediately and she helpfully pointed out where we could park roller bags to be out of the way. The decor inside was lovely. Our server Harold was absolutely amazing. He explained the most popular dishes when one of my colleagues couldn't make up his mind and kept us topped up with water as we chatted, and inquired about another round of other beverages at appropriate intervals. Although we all had on the same logo clothes, we did have separate expense accounts and hadn't thought to ask for separate checks. Harold must've engaged his psychic powers, because even though we didn't ask right away, he was back with separate checks like magic. The only reason this didn't get a five from me, was that the food was a bit meh. I understand airport pricing, but it's just very little food and a bit average for a lot of money. The texture was pleasant and taste was standard. Okay for me on an expense account and trying to lose weight, but less so for my buddies who are pretty tall guys who likely had to fuel up again before getting on their flights or anyone not able to expense it. Next time, I'd just grab fast food, and wait to have a nice sushi dinner at a local place once I got home. Glad we tried it, and it was a nice place to burn our wait time.

One Flew South - Atlanta Airport (4/5) If you ever find yourself stuck at ATL thinking airport food means sad sandwiches and regret... think again. We stopped in for a late breakfast around 9:30AM and the food? Absolutely five-star worthy. Everything was cooked perfectly. The eggs were fluffy, the bacon crisp, the potatoes golden and seasoned just right. The avocado toast was fresh, bright, and layered beautifully. Even the espresso martinis were balanced and smooth with that dreamy foam cap. But what really stood out? The little details. The trio of specialty salts was such a unique touch -- it elevated the whole experience and made it feel intentional and thoughtful. Every ingredient tasted fresh, clean, and well-sourced. Service was friendly and efficient, especially for an airport setting. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five has nothing to do with the food. There was no indoor seating available when we arrived, so we had to sit in the open food court lobby. It was loud, chaotic, and felt more like a fast-food stop than the elevated dining experience this place clearly aims to provide. I'm confident that sitting inside would have completely changed the vibe. Bottom line: In terms of quality, this is easily one of the best airport meals I've had. If you can snag indoor seating, it's a five. If not, just know the food still delivers. Airport breakfast done right.

Yep, even when I have lounge access I want to eat a meal here willingly It's expensive but delicious. I don't worry about eating raw fish here when going on a flight

The sushi and ambience was truly amazing, but I caught them at a bad time I believe, as they were either A. Understaffed or B. Slammed all of a sudden with guests. I was sat promptly, and I thought 45 minutes would be enough time for a glass of bubbly and two hand rolls, but I waited over 30 minutes for the food and found myself scarfing it down quickly before having to run to my gate for boarding. I'd definitely try them again as quality sushi in airports is rare. And I'd be happy to update my review after another visit with cautiously more layover time!

I visited here since I had quite a bit of time before my flight in Concourse T. It takes about 13 mins to walk there if you're at the end of the concourse, like I was. I was seated at the bar almost right away. They will ask you a few times how much time you have to eat, meaning it may take a bit of time for food to come from the kitchen or the sushi chefs, or how many dishes your server will recommend. I looked over the menu and was tempted by the daily specials, one of which was sea urchin at 2 pc for $25; but I stuck with the Hamachi Roll and the Sake Sashimi and an iced tea. Hamachi roll - 8 pieces with the fish coming out the ends of the roll pieces. Fish was very fresh. Sake sashimi - this was good but not as good as the roll since it had a variety of different flavors and was more fresh. The food actually came out in less than 5 mins. The service at the bar was really good, so they definitely got that spot on. The music playing in the background was soft 80s love songs. Overall, a nice spot in the airport but I wish I had more time and a larger budget to try several other items.

Relaxing atmosphere- once inside you forget your in the middle of the Atlanta airport other than the announcements. A sushi roll and salad hit the spot.

My wife and I recently visited One Flew South while waiting for a flight at the Atlanta International Airport. The restaurant is in the international terminal (Terminal E) near the main food court. I ordered the Collard Green Ramen. A rich flavorful broth was filled with tender juicy collard greens, soft savory noodles, crisp tangy kimchi, meaty crisped pork, and super flavorful eggs. This was basically a Southern style ramen and it was super flavorful and delicious. The beer selection was also good featuring a few local craft beer options. I fly through Atlanta occasionally so One Flew South is now on my must visit list when I have a long layover.

Got the collard green ramen. Some of the toppings were ok. Eggs overcooked. The broth had little depth of flavor. The ramen noodles seemed more like spaghetti noodles and they were overcooked still. Not a reasonable portion of them. Just not a good experience. Was tempted by their desserts when I sat down but nailed due to the horrible execution of the ramen. Would stick to sushi. Persons next to me looked ok.

I've lived in Atlanta for nearly a decade and finally made it to One Flew South--I'm sorry it took me so long! I tried several menu items: the deviled eggs with bacon jam add-on (yum!), the poke tacos (double yum!) and a dragon roll (fresh and refreshing, but missing a little bit more eel sauce). The score is lovely--imagine if all airport restaurants could be this pretty and have such amazing food! I took one star off for service since my server was training a new employee who, yes, was new, but just wasn't hitting the mark. Regardless, I will definitely be back, just not if I'm in a hurry to catch a flight. Food and ambiance worth 5 stars.

Collard Green Ramen-very tasty, but I wasn't wild about the egg or kimchi

This was such an elevated dining experience. I had the collard green ramen. It was very good-I just didn't care for the kimchi and the egg. I also had the Fly by Night cocktail. One of the best cocktails I have ever had. Whenever I'm in Atlanta...in town or at the airport-I will have to get this cocktail. Absolutely delicious!

This is the highest quality of food one can hope to get at an airport. Although it is on the pricier side, I do feel like the price is worth it to eat something outside of the "usual" airport options. The quality of the food was great, and the portions were decently-sized. The fries were very tasty, and the burger was a solid choice. The Open Face Cod Sandwich was much better than I expected it to be, though it may not be for everyone! The Auromatica drink was yummy, and perfectly strong in my opinion! Although it was extremely busy, the service I received was prompt and attentive. Though (understandably) the inside was packed with suitcases, the restaurant had a vibe on par with any American restaurant/bar, which was much appreciated and contributed to an overall great experience! I will definitely come back next time I find myself in the Atlanta airport!

Wasn't any food left on any of the plates to show off because it was too good to leave a single bite behind.

I haven't left a review in quite some, but my meal at One Flew South certainly warrants me breaking that streak. My waitress Alexis was phenomenal, just the right amount of engaged while also distant in the right times of the meal and the surrounding staff complimented her service so, so nicely. For a good hour or so I forgot I was in an airport on hour five of a fourteen hour travel day. Much needed & much appreciated momentary departure from the hustle of travel.

I had a three hour layover in Atlanta and was committed to have a good experience. After reading reviews I went down to concourse E and found the restaurant to the right of the escalator exit. Instantly I knew this was different. I didn't feel like I was seated at an airport restaurant - I felt like I was in a whole other world. The restaurant is peaceful cut off from the hustle and bustle of foot traffic and roller bags. Soft notes from a saxophone player was the only pleasant intrusion into this perfect bubble. Kurt, the bartender, told me about the restaurant giving me the history and rundown of popular rolls. He mentioned that people some times make sure their layover takes them through Atlanta with enough time to dine here. I can see why. The food is incredible. It was fresh, fantastic, array of flavors. That kamikaze roll is AMAZING!! The salmon avocado roll I had after? Also amazing! They were delicious and perfect balance of fish and rice and mayo. It was grand. The service was also incredible. Everyone was so nice! Like legit nice! Attentive! Amazing! Kurt was wonderful. I can't get over there is this awesome restaurant that I can only visit on layovers. I will make the effort.

About how long a layover is long enough to eat here, would you estimate?

Our server asked how we were on time with our flight. We had a few hours so it was no issue. But our food was prepared quickly and, even taking our time eating, we were in and out within 45 minutes. (This was midday on a Sunday.)

Have they extended their hours post covid? They were closed last few times I stopped by.

I was there in early March and the hours were 12-6:30 as I recall.

Is restaurant access only open to those with flight tickets aka is it pre-security or post-security? Thank you!

Post security in Terminal E. Is located close to where you come up from the train that takes you between gates. Still need to get between dates, thou. Service was swift but I ate at the bar.

Instead, I found a surprisingly spacious oasis that felt like it had a better selection, better atmosphere, and--dare I say--a slightly smug sense of superiority (in the nicest way). People are hustling and bustling outside in the concourse, but inside, you can sip a cocktail and feel like the world paused just for you. It's the only place in an airport where you can watch someone sprint for a gate while you leisurely consider dessert options. The food selection deserves a shout-out. The bar is nicely stocked, the entrees are solid--juicy chicken curry, chickpeas, rice, and vegetables--and the dessert selection is excellent. Those shortcakes might make you forget your next boarding call. Pro tip: glance outside once in a while and silently judge everyone who didn't find this lounge. It's a little slice of calm in the madness of one of the busiest airports in the world. A place to recharge, enjoy some good food, and pretend your flight is happening tomorrow instead of in twenty minutes. Four stars. If you're passing through Concourse E and have a chance to stop by, this lounge is worth carving out a few extra minutes--your stress levels (and your stomach) will thank you.

Quaint is the best way to describe this location. Downtown college park maybe a block away from Nouvea . I would come here or possible rent the venue for a girls night in the back room. What I would not do is come here for a date night. (Per the IG review that lead most of us here) It gives off "grass wall" neon and strobe lighting / young adult ambiance. Like a jhene aiko -- summer walker music video set had a baby. Over 30 +years old. Don't do it . We went specifically because of the Instagram hype. Instagram will lead you down a rabbit hole to just any and everything. The venue itself is long. It's not big width wise at all. I cannot think of a venue to compare it to as it's very quaint . Maybe a small boutique is a good comparison. The playlist they had going was really good. No in ceiling speakers. Speakers were floor bass speakers . Now the service A1 we came on a Thursday a young man working the bar was very kind and very patient especially seeing as he was by himself. Everyone came by the drink special advertised on Instagram. The young man was so busy we weren't sure what brand of tequila we were drinking, but you do receive your flight. The back room is "hidden" past a bookshelf . The front area is a small bar with maybe 6-8 bar stools. We did not order as we knew we weren't staying long. we ordered the $10 tequila flights. 2 each ... and left. Again the service wasn't the problem the expectation versus what you receive personally turned me off. It is not meant for date nights, maybe small gatherings or catch ups with your girlfriends. The same gentlemen working the bar was also back-and-forth between the kitchen so food service was probably gonna be long as well. I probably will not be back but again it was an OK experience the venue itself could be cool to rent out.

Hands-down Tanika delivered one of the best customer service experiences I've had in a very long time. Even before I made it to the counter, I was already being greeted with menu in hand, all while she was still handling drinks for other customers. Where in 2026 do you see that kind of awareness and multitasking ... not too many places! So needless to say, I was impressed right off the bat! Although the crowd was very steady, she never missed a step! Composure, efficiency, and engagement all wrapped up in one really made this place about the service she was providing more than the beer or the food, (although the beer was good too)! I did not have a chance to order food, but it could have come to the table burnt to a crisp and Tanika would have made me feel like that was the best burnt crispy meal I've ever eaten. Thanks for letting me know that there are still a few of us who believe in the "golden era" of hospitality and customer service, it's just too easy to be a great host, server, bartender, etc. to make sure your guests are having the kind of experience that makes them want to return! I loved that I didn't feel rushed or overlooked, but actually valued! This will be a stop every time I am in this airport, so if Tanika is not there, someone has some very BIG shoes to fill!
