    Panang Curry with Chicken
    Cheryl D.

Robin was our server today. He was great! Patient, kind, and attentive in all the right ways. We ordered 2 entrees, Panang Curry with Chicken. She had the Pad Zu with Salmon added extra green bell pepper. Both dishes were good. The ambiance was nice. Low key, great music and a very chill atmosphere. Good for date nights with someone special or hanging with friends. Overall, a cool spot with their own parking lot. I'd go back.

I came here around 7pm on a Tuesday night and it was packed. It was hard to find parking though there was a sign that said there was public parking not too far away but it was dark and I wasn't going to walk by myself in this area. I ended up doing a to-go order because the only spot I found was in the 15 min pick-up parking area. It took exactly 15 mins for them to provide my order which was quick and when I got home it was hot. The chicken pad kee mao was excellent. The hot level was great and definitely spicy. It was a lot of food. I was only able to get through half of it and saved the rest for lunch the next day. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the peppers still had just enough crunch. The potstickers with the sauce were perfect. Some of the best potstickers I've ever had. You have to try this place. Maybe next time I'll be able to find a parking spot and stay for awhile.

This restaurant is so modern with lots of outdoor seating as well as a lawn area for lounging. They have immaculate vibes and a beautiful where you can get drinks. Their servers are also so sweet and attentive. But unfortunately their Thai food was not authentic or tasty. I ordered pad Thai and pad kee mao. The pad Thai was mediocre and just overwhelmed with a sweet flavor but the tofu was cooked well. The pad see ew was my least favorite - the noodles were hard and the sauce was once again sweet while this dish is mostly savory. I saw the high ratings for this spot but perhaps it's for the drinks and other dishes - I would recommend trying something else out on their menu

    Medium Thai dish with chicken!

Fast forward a few years since I was the first to review this spot and they are going strong, with a great bar and a great food game. The service here is always good! The atmosphere is quite honestly one of the best in town! I most often have the Panang Curry with ground chicken as my meat. It is really good! The other dishes don't miss either. I would say that their Pad Thai is one of the best in all of Atlanta. Their cheesy rolls are so good! They make an array of fancy cocktails that are well made! This place can be a little bit pricey but I believe it's worth the expense if you can afford it. The rices are good, the curries are good, and really you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I would come here more often if I could. I love seeing a good restaurant like this take flight in Hapeville and I hope we can get a few more like it. Note: Parking can be a bit difficult sometimes when it gets busy so just be aware you may have to park down the street occasionally! Come on down for a visit if you are craving Thai! It's some of the best that Atlanta has to offer! With friendly staff and great food and drinks, it's the perfect spot!

    Pad Zu with "extra sauce"
    Kirstyn M.

I genuinely loved this place. It was my lunch spot for the past year or so. I got one dish every time, the Pad Zu. Loved it down except, prepared normally, it's very dry. You can barely taste the sauce and flavor which is so good. You just want more of it. So I typically ask for extra sauce. This was no problem for 3-4 visits, no extra charge. The "extra sauce" is what should be included in a noodle dish in my opinion. Extra could be a little more - however I was happy. A couple of weeks ago, I place my order as normal and was told that extra sauce was a $5.00 up charge. Let's put this in context. The lunch special is only $11 without a protein. Besides that being astronomical in comparison it actually makes no sense. I could buy an entire bottle of sauce for less than $5. Let alone the cost to make it from scratch. A few tablespoons of sauce that should be on the dish anyway is $5? I get inflation but this is taking advantage of the consumer. I spoke with management who gave me a one time courtesy but he confirmed this was the decision of the owners. An attempt to be fair, I emailed the restaurant with my grievance before writing this review. No response to date. So unfortunately, my run with this place has ended unless that charge changes. I run a business as well but taking advantage of your customers this way is unethical in my opinion and I won't spend my money there. Also, to not respond to a customer complaint is quite telling. Run your business how you want but be fair if you want to keep loyal customers!

Service: quick and attentive, I was greeted and brought to my seat within 2 minutes of entering Food: ordered the salmon salad I asked for sauce on the side they probably forgot to do so. The food was about a 3.5-4 the dressing was a little too sweet for me but the salmon was cooked perfectly Parking: you can park at the side and enter from the back, however just know you'd have to check in the front to be seated I was on a work trip but if I'm looking for something quick and decent I'd stop here again because it's somewhat close to the airport

Ambiance and service was 10/10 but food was just ok. They have a nice cocktail and cellar selection.

Basil fried rice with crab meat with medium heat
    Carissa E.

This place is beautiful ...the decor and outside is so eloquently put together. I love the outside. The girl who services us was good. This was Sunday afternoon after church. Now to the food. We all ordered the basil fried rice. I ordered mine with crab meat . They didn't put enough crab meat. I had to pay an extra $12. The rice was good but be careful cause I ordered medium heat and that medium heat was a bit spicy. Overall, I liked the place. I will return.

    Pad Thai, added shrimp

I like this place. Arrive around 2pm with my guest (Mom) for lunch. Considered to be a neighborhood fav. Tony was our server. She was direct but friendly and essentially warmed up to us more overtime. Especially AFTER my Mom dropped the infamous crab fried rice ALL over the floor...soooo sorry Tony. She handled that well. The food was everything, clean. Clean ingredients, hot, fresh. We had the following all requested to arrive at the same time: 1. "Egg" rolls - cabbage filled only but a beautiful and delicate pastry shell. Probably one of the most unique and versatile apps, I've had Asian style in a minute. 2. Crab Fried rice - honestly the star. Fresh and real pieces of crab with peas and carrots chunks similar to that of a traditional fried rice. This was my Moms' dish and as a seafood cook and connoisseur she appreciated the fresh cucumber garnish and the spice to accompany (go hot here). 3. Pad Thai (shrimp added) - I had the pad Thai and it was delicious. The shrimp plump fresh abundant, the sauce not too sweet and the heat, again spicy but not too much. The only thing I would advise here is that the pad Thai is swimming in a bit of sauce and scrambled egg. IF you took this to go, and for those folks who love pad thai like me would enjoy the extra sauce the next day ensuring the dish is not dry. Me on the other hand would have preferred a less liquid approach. But overall, I would still order again will moderate accommodations to the egg thingy and maybe even the sauce. 3. The side of veggies is at best a mixed blend of random veggies that felt maybe mid and maybe even a blend of microwaved options. We shared this one but it was because as my Mother and your Mother might always say..."eat your veggies" lol. This would be a PASS for us again I think.

I pulled up and first reaction was free parking lot next door to the restaurant. The atmosphere was fresh open lingering with spices in the air!! I knew I was in for tasty food!! Everything was great and you get more than enough food to take home. I will definitely be back when I'm in the Hapeville area.

Food and service was amazing. I always enjoy coming here. Flavorful and delicious without having to go into the city of Atlanta. The atmosphere is a bit noisy but it's a good energy space.

I ordered from here because I had a taste for Thai and I know they never disappoint. I got the kids pad Thai and the serving was definitely for an adult. The pot stickers were awesome and the Thai wings are always banging!

If you're looking for a laid-back spot with great food, strong drinks, good hookah, and outstanding…read moreservice, ATL Hookah Lounge in Hapeville is definitely worth checking out! It came highly recommended, so my friend and I decided to stop by on a Thursday night, and I'm so glad we did. We started at the bar, where our bartender, Tay, immediately made us feel welcome. She was attentive, personable, funny, and had excellent customer service. We kicked things off with lemon drops, and let me tell you... they were delicious! Strong, smooth, and made just right. As the evening went on, our party grew from two to six, so we grabbed a table. To our surprise, Tay transitioned from bartender to waitress, and somehow her service got even better. She never missed a beat. Since it was happy hour, we sampled several menu items, including the honey lemon pepper wings and fries, fried shrimp and fries, salmon bites and fries, fried green tomatoes, and the cornbread. Every single thing we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. There wasn't one item we regretted trying. Of course, we couldn't leave without ordering a hookah, and it was hitting! Smooth, flavorful, and lasted throughout the night. One thing I really appreciated was the atmosphere. It wasn't overly packed, but it had a nice crowd with great energy. The vibe leaned more mature, with mostly people in their late 30s, 40s, and 50s, which made for a relaxed, enjoyable evening. They have two bars, plenty of seating, and even an outdoor patio area if you want a little fresh air or a more private space. Parking was free and conveniently located on-site, which is always a plus. The bathrooms were also worth mentioning--small, nicely decorated, and very clean. The prices were another pleasant surprise. Happy hour food ranged around $8-$10, hookah was about $20, and the drinks were around $8. Great food, quality drinks, and hookah without breaking the bank? That's a win. I was told Wednesday has even better specials, but Thursday definitely didn't disappoint. Overall, ATL Hookah Lounge exceeded my expectations. Between the amazing service from Tay, delicious food, strong drinks, great hookah, mature crowd, and affordable prices, this place earned every bit of its 5 out of 5 stars. I'll definitely be back!

You're sitting up on the 8th or 9th floor with an amazing vantage point of the runway, so if you love a good view, this place has that in spades. Noise can be a big factor here though--if you're sensitive to it, this spot probably isn't for you. Between the cars and planes, it's definitely not a quiet, intimate experience. But if you're into high-speed action, the sound only adds to the thrill. As for the drinks, they were delicious--a great selection to match the vibe. The staff was super friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience more enjoyable. I wouldn't call it an intimate spot, though--you'll be more focused on the excitement and the view than on any deep conversation. The sunset was definitely the cherry on top, giving the whole place a magical touch as the day winds down. We parked behind the building and a woman who worked there had the door open. She had on a shirt that read Legalize being Black. My husband had on a Black Lives Matter shirt, & I had on a Juneteenth shirt. She smiled and raised her fist at us as we asked to enter through the door and we responded in kind. I love us! She toke U.S. to grab a menu as we walked in to the right of the bar. We found a high top and found what we wanted and went to the counter to order. The prices are reasonable until you get to adding the sides. I overheard another worker tell a couple who ordered after us to order the veggie plate if they were getting 4 sides as it was cheaper. I wish the person who took our order had told use that. The entrees are à la carte and priced reasonably. The sides are $5 each with a few exceptions, a hoecake is $2 and mac & cheese and a couple other sides are $6. Keep that in mind when you come. Our total for our inside dining with a can of ginger ale, fountain Diet Coke, & tip was like $70+ & the to go order for our son's meal w/o a drink was ~$30. It's definitely a good value if you only need an entree and have sides already. The food is good and has large pieces of meat & decent portions so there you go... I ordered the fried green tomatoes as a starter, smoked beef brisket with the barbecue sauce on the side, smoked turkey cabbage, dressing, & the lemon pound cake. Ironically, the fried green tomatoes came out last. They were piping hot though. They could've used a dash of salt but that cornmeal batter was perfection on the tomatoes. You get 3 and 1 was cut a little too thick and it was slightly mushy maybe cause it had to cook longer? But it was still good. The beef brisket was good. It's sliced thin and had that good smoke flavor and was seasoned well. The thicker slices could've been a bit more tender but overall it could rival some barbecue joints. The dressing was good and so was the cabbage, though it was almost tad bit saltier than I'd like. I'd order everything I had again. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed my food. You know not everyone who claims to cook southern food can do so. Oh the pound cake was good and moist. It reminds me of Sammy Chhesecake pound cake. My husband ordered the 3 pieces of fried chicken, collard greens & they do have a lil kick as the menu suggests, green beans, & yellow rice. He was pleasantly surprised with how big the pieces of chicken were. Nowadays people give you what looks like pigeon parts ‍. He said it was a tad salty. He said he also enjoyed his meal otherwise. I forgot to get pictures of the food for our son's takeout order of fried pork chops, collard greens, mac & cheese, & a hoecake. He liked his food as well but also said his pork chops, which were nice size center cut, were well seasoned, but a little too much. He enjoyed the meal and his 1st hoecake. They also do catering and seemed to have a large catering order being prepared to go out. The restaurant & woman's restroom was clean. The staff were friendly and quickly acknowledged us. The music was good but it would've been good to hear a mix of old school with the hip hop since it was Juneteenth. They have a full bar. The only thing I didn't like was Fox News & another conservative news channel on; at least not on JuneteenthZ a generic movie or TV show would've been better for me anyway. They had a steady stream of to go orders and in person dining. I guess we're just late to know about
