Went for lunch and ordered the pad thai and the drunken noodles. I really like that neither dish was spicy. I'm sure you can add spice upon request. The food was a good amount for lunch portions, but a bit expensive for lunch, especially since the dishes didn't come with soup. Also, dishes were skimpy of meat (got shrimp, chicken, and beef in both dishes). It did come with a spring roll, but it was just ok. Also took off a star because we wanted the Tofu Pad Thai, but wanted to sub the Tofu for veggies, which they wouldn't do. So, we ended up with a regular Pad Thai, which was still good. I discovered this little gem at lunch today. I have driven by a couple times a week. The exterior is not inviting, and the reviews are mixed, so I hadn't stopped in. Well, today a friend invited me to meet her here. I started with the Tom Yum Shrimp and asked for it mild. The flavor was excellent and the heat was perfect. The Pad Thai was so flavorful and the lunch portion was large. I had enough for a second meal to take home. My friend ordered the Pad Woon Sen w/ Fried Tofu. I was excited about the 4 star rating. It was a true disappointment. I just ordered the Thai shrimp fried rice and the Pad Woon Sen noodles. The noodle dish was absolutely the worst Pad Woon Sen noodles I have ever had. The fried rice was a solid 3.5 stars but they did not bag my condiments and finding shrimp in the rice was like finding a needle in a haystack. The shrimp were a good size just scarce. Second time there; both times there was only ONE waitress who had to answer the phone, handle pick up orders, take dine in orders and bus tables! While taking our order, waitress seemed annoyed and more interested in rushing us so she could answer the phone. She took our order but did not place it with the kitchen until taking another table's order and returning to us to ask if we wanted protein with the curry, stalling ...bcuz we had already ordered our dish...curry with chicken. Extremely poor customer service! We went directly home and before I could get into the house, uncontrollable diarrhea started running down both legs! I have UC and resent having my very sensitive digestive system callously upset. I know I was punished by the cook for expecting good customer service and because I let the waitress know the phone call could wait until we finished giving her our order and that it was not right for her to hold our order until she collected another order. The reviews were dated, I couldn't locate anything recent so I was already worried but I was really in the mood for Thai food. I gave this place a try and I called in an order for shrimp pad Thai with no tofu and an appetizer portion of chicken wings. The chicken wings were nice and crispy and it was paired with a sweet and tangy sauce. The shrimp pad Thai was okay. The noodles were over cooked, the flavor wasn't packing but overall just okay. Like I never want to sit at any table along the windows bc they never clean them and it's always dusty with dead bugs on the window seal right where u eat. Service is generally good. Food is good... not great but will do. This place has so much potential. Oh do plain fried rice is very bland... I'll never get it again. The chicken or veggie fried rice is pretty descent... that's what I normally get. Should have stuck to that. This place is a decent mom and pop spot where the food is usually delicious. However, my last two visits were unacceptable. The last time the server was so unfriendly and hasty. The food was good but took a while. Today, the servers were better. BUT THE FOOD TOOK AN HOUR AND 1/2. Which made no sense, they were busy but not THAT BUSY. The food was still good but definitely not worth the 1 & 1/2 hour wait. I will try again, with hopes that this improves. The food is worth a 3rd chance. We went there for late lunch. I ordered Pad Kee Mao with chicken. The wait was little long because it wasn't busy at the time. After 20 minutes, the dish came and it turned out tasty and spicy. It wasn't the best Pad Kee Mao I had, but it tasted very good. The texture of the noodles was right, fair amount of chicken, bell peppers, basil, carrots, onions and green beans. Overall, it tasted delicious. You will like this dish if you like basil. The cream cheese was at a nice warm temperature and had a subtle kick to it. Now on to the entree. I tried the 3 Flavor Chicken. It was quite impressive! Crunchy with a sweet, spicy, savory flavor. I ordered the house fried rice as a side for $1 extra and was very impressed. My wife ordered the yellow curry and enjoyed it very much. She preferred it over a green curry we tried a few days ago in Miami Beach. Overall, the service was pretty quick here. It was a Wednesday night, thus it was pretty quiet, but a clean atmosphere overall. Will probably come back and try some of their other options! It's also pretty cheap for what you get. read more

I visited Thai Garden yesterday evening, and it won't be the last time. The food was everything I expected, the ambience was very relaxing, and the service stood out in the best way. My Pad Thai was cooked to order, no peanuts. My waiter was especially informative, making sure to let me know the ingredients so my dietary restrictions (peanut allergy) wouldn't be an issue. My drink never dipped below half full, and both my wife and sister-in-law were pleasantly I'm surprised at how well and attentive our server (the short haired one wearing Crocs, I forget their name) was to us while maintaining other tables. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending this location to my coworkers. We usually go to the other Thai place around the corner, but this will become our regular Thai spot from now on! read more

Visited Thai Garden with a friend while she ran errands in the area. I loved this place immediately. It's bright. Clean. And the food is good. When they say hot, they mean HOT! My friend had the Panang Curry. She ordered it "medium," and it blew her little socks right off. I can only imagine what "hot" means. My friend is totally enamored of the Chicken Coconut Soup. And the Chicken Satay was very tender. Grilled just right, and served with a tasty sauce. Be forewarned: The egg drop soup here is nothing at all like the stereotypical egg drop soup you'll find in any Chinese restaurant. I did not fancy it, but you just might. I gave in to my carb craving and had the Pad Thai, which was everything I needed it to be: chock-full of carbs, chock-full of excellent pad-thai flavor. Exactly the staple it's supposed to be. Well, I ordered a small tom kah coconut soup and an order of shrimp basil rolls. And I'm not quite sure what I got. It looks like a powder was mixed with water to create my soup. My experience was wonderful, we arrived around 5pm for a early dinner and were greeted immediately. We ordered an appetizer which were filled with cream cheese, it came out about to 5 minutes after we put in our order which was great. They were a bit hot on the inside so you should wait a second after you get them before you take a bite. We then got our meal right after our appetizer and I may add if you're not into spicy food don't get anything beyond thai hot. I ordered their penang curry which was delicious, it wasn't super sweet but it did have a hit of coco. My bad for ordering it spicy because the flavors were amazing so I wanted to finish it, I just had to suffer a bit because of the heat. They serve your meal with a side if rice and it was the right amount for two people. The best part of our experience was the server, she was super friendly and very attentive. Was craving pad thai in the henry county area and this place popped up (had to travel a bit). Came into a silent large restaurant, but there were specials on the menu which made the food cheaper (about $4 off) so we just had to stay. The service was superb! Staff was extremely friendly , probably because we were the only patrons in the restaurant but I'm not complaining. The waitress routinely stopped by making sure everything was ok and even gave us complimentary egg rolls. Definitely gave a better dining experience. The dishes had large proportions. We ordered pad thai, papaya salad--but for the life of me I cant remember the menu item on sale! This place is vegetarian friendly but the papaya salad is most likely made with REAL fish sauce. Pad thai was alright but since this is in the Southern area it tastes pretty good. Sadly the papaya salad was pretty fishy so we could not eat that much but we got everything else to-go.
