Outstanding food, warm and lively ambiance, and our server was excellent. It took a while to get our food but it was absolutely worth the wait. The massaman curry was perhaps the best I've had in the states. The beef jerky was much softer than I expected and worth a try. The crab fritters had a good amount of meat, though the dipping sauce was too sweet for me. The yum muu bing was an absolute winner, one of the best cooked pork loins I've ever had. This was my first time to Talat Market but I'll definitely be back!

Talat Market was an outstanding experience from beginning to end. The oysters were fresh and delicious and the crispy rice salad was fantastic. We can't wait to go back.

Big fan of the vibe, the full-bodied flavors, and the kind waitstaff. The moment I walked in, I was taken by the amazing mural artistry, decor, upbeat mood of Thai bops playing, as well as the scent of lemongrass and a warm simmering of something delicious. I enjoyed the Mini Tini, stir fried clams, and snapper. They also surprised me with a happy hour oyster + a slightly spicy-citrusy mignonette. Scrumptious. The bartender (Preston, I believe) was incredibly helpful in walking me through gluten friendly options and confirming that they do not have a separate fryer for gluten allergies. Even with my dietary restriction, they had several items on the menu for gluten allergies, to my surprise and delight. I will absolutely be back on my next trip to ATL.

Loved talat market! It's been on my list and it was worth the wait. The food is excellent! - salmon Crudo - crispy rice - you need this in your life! - trout The flavors were outstanding! The waiter - Ak- was so pleasant and helpful. The ambiance was on point- we sat on the patio.

I am addicted to Talat Market. If it weren't for the Atlanta traffic I would be a regular. The crispy rice salad needs an award - so refreshing and crunchy and delicious. They also have an excellent oyster selection. I love the decor and in some seats you can look into the kitchen. The roasted chicken is so good. Never had an issue with service. Happy hour Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

This restaurant is a full experience, not just a meal. From the moment we walked in, everything felt intentional and beautifully curated. The ambiance is so cute--small, quaint, creative, and thoughtful. Even the silverware and glassware were unique and added to the vibe. I had a mini martini and WOW... hands down one of the best martinis I've ever had. I knew I was drinking liquor, but by the time you swallow, this wave of flavor comes through that completely changes the game. The oysters were fresh, salty, and perfect with a simple Thai-style sauce that elevated them without overpowering anything. The crab fritters? My gosh--cooked to perfection and actually tasted like crab, with just the right amount of sauce. We also had the beef appetizer (I think tartare), and I don't even eat beef like that, but it was so good I didn't even realize what I was eating. The Thai chicken was spicy, colorful, and delicious, with a sweet purple potato that really stood out. When I say five stars plus +5 stars plus, I mean it. Atlanta has plenty of restaurants, but not many deliver both amazing food and a memorable experience. I'm already excited to go back.

Best dining experience I've had in a while! Our server Maddie took special care of us and crushed it with the recommendations. Everything we had was delicious and fresh, especially the pain killer (HAVE to add the float) along with the oysters and crispy rice salad. Defiantly will be back ASAP!!

I was excited to try Talat Market after all the glowing recommendations. Seated quickly, service fine, and the little martinis started things off right. The oysters at happy hour pricing were cold, fresh, and probably the best value of the night. From there, it slipped. The crispy rice salad had nice flavor but was small and felt incomplete. The fried shrimp were few and overcooked. The hanger steak salad was excellent and easily the best bite, but blink and you'd miss the portion. The green curry was the real disappointment: $38 for a watery bowl with overcooked beef and barely enough rice to share. The quarter chicken with papaya salad rounded things out on a very average note. The server never once asked how we liked anything, only whether we wanted another round of drinks. Three people, four mains, a $200 bill, and not a single dish I'd come back for. Some good moments, but overall an underwhelming, pricey meal that didn't live up to the hype.

SO DELICIOUS!!! I love Thai food it's pretty much my go to so I really enjoyed Talat Market. However, I appreciated that they have more authentic options so I didn't default to a boring pad thai. I felt like I was experiencing real Thai food. We ordered the beef jerky, crispy rice salad, red curry, and chicken. Everything was delicious and well seasoned. The crispy rice salad has an amazing crunch! While everything was tasty I thought that the chicken portion we received was pretty small especially for the price. Ambience was cozy and trendy and our service was amazing! Oh and the egg nog cocktail was delicious but be careful it's very strong :)

I wish this was a 5 - because the food was delicious. We made reservations and it took them an additional 35 min to seat us and it was a warm day so it was just a tad annoying. We got the oysters and they were sweet and briny and so plump. The salad is absolutely divine and the crunch and mix of flavors is so pleasant. I had chicken and the sauce was some thing to die for, licked the bowl if I could. The menu changes daily so truly acknowledging that they do a great job balancing flavors so just pick your favorite menu item and it'll surprise you for the better. Parking is just off the street but if you have the get a ride it would just be much easier.

Very cool interior and vibe. Everything we had was amazing. Our waiter, I think his name was Sawyer, was awesome. We were visiting Atlanta for our friends birthday and he has great food recommendations and made it a great experience for us!

Came here for a date night and we enjoyed the experience! Talat market is pretty small, but has decent parking and I didn't feel like we were too cramped inside. Our waiter was super nice and food came out very quickly after we ordered! We decided to split the sliced nuts, crispy rice salad, sticky rice, and chicken. I thought the nuts were a good appetizer and I LOVED the chicken and the sauces! I think it's definitely a must get. Unfortunately I ended up not really liking the salad since it was very lemongrass forward and I think it tastes like soap lol, but my bf enjoyed it. Overall, I think talat market is great for a date night! It's a little pricy for Thai food, but the food is very well made and their rotating menu keeps things fun.

My wife and I chose this spot because she's a big fan of Thai food and they have really good ratings. While I was not super impressed, my wife enjoyed it and I can understand why others do as well. The service was decent, and the drinks were good. I found the food to be a bit overpriced for the portions. The flavors tasted authentic but they were not my cup of tea. If you're sitting inside, it's also nice to see the chefs there cooking your food. Overall, while the flavors were not my favorite I understand why this restaurant has a great reputation and I would recommend it to those interested in authentic Thai food.
